“I grew up down the road and my family and I have been customers since Cucina opened. The experience available here is, hands down, unlike any resturaunt I've been to. The food is incredibly authentic (as well as his Italian wine selection) and the setting is very warm and comfortable. Not to mention, Chef Stefano regularly serves his dishes personally to his customers, which is a rarity as well as very personable. I see reviews complaining of the drive, but the drive is a small price to pay for a meal and dining experience that is sure to have you feeling like your in Italy!”

“Fantastic Employees that are friendly, welcoming & great service. Sadly the food is lack luster. We ordered a pizza which had so little sauce and cheese it was like a dry bread stick and the pepperoni & salami were few. The house garden salad would have been wonderful except all the bitter white pieces of iceburg lettuce (stick to the green leaf that was mixed in!!) To end on an up note; the draft beer was cold and the ice tea was fresh with good flavor.”

“It’s hard to argue that you know Napa Valley cuisine and restaurants if you have not been to Solbar. Amazing dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They divide the menu roughly into vegetarian/refreshing dishes and deeper dishes often involving meat or protein. My only problem with Solbar is that I don’t have more stomachs to process all the food I want to order when I go. The wine list is amazing too. And the setting is beautiful. And the staff treat you great. And, and ... I suggest you go. Now.”

For the price however, I feel like it wasn't what we paid for. Certain things weren't as clean as I'd want, or were very outdated. “We’ve been in the area for three days. And we’ve eaten all our meals in restaurants. We wandered into Jonny’s today and had a great meal with attentive, excellent service. Unlike our dinner at Lovina two nights ago, the oysters were very very good and were delivered to the table promptly after ordering. It was obvious that one of the gentlemen behind the bar was an owner. Unlike every other restaurant in the area, including Bottega, his demeanor made it obvious that he appreciates every customer. The attitude was refreshing. Also, they have another restaurant next door, and we were able to order off that menu too. Which was great. The grilled octopus was delicious (as were the bar snacks we had - fries and the tacos of the day). Just after happy hour ended, a couple walked in. Though they missed the time cutoff, they seemed to be folks who’d had a tough time lately. The co owner gladly made an exception for them. He didn’t have to, and they weren’t pushing. He just did it. I’d happily return and heartily recommend Jonnys.”

“My husband and I were on vacation, really wanted to try some different I mentioned Thai food and my husband turned his nose up... finally convinced him! “We had the Primavera. Besides the tomato sauce and fettuccine, it has roasted onions, carrots, summer squash, zucchini, and broccoli in it. It was delicious. “What a treat! Excellent service, felt very homey, and hospitable. The restaurant was clean. Clearly owned by a local family, which was so nice to see. And the food was truly delicious!!! And I'm not just talking small town good, I'm talking absolutely delicious. As good as the best American style Chinese food I've had anywhere else. The chicken was clearly fresh and tasted like it was from a good source, battered lightly and so it was crunchy and not too chewy or starchy. Perfect. The broth on the wonton soup was nice and clean with fresh vegetables. The mooshu was also very fresh tasting with just enough crispiness in the veggies. Yum! It all felt and tasted fresh. Highly recommend, I will definitely be returning.”

“This restaurant is owned by the same owner of Zazie in SF, which is a San Francisco favorite. So coming here I was hoping she had done it again. And let me tell you, the food was delicious! They offered both classics and some more unique items which I feel would make it ideal for everyone. Everything was fresh and of very high quality ingredients. They had a very curated, but very high quality (read: tasty) wine selection. Service was great. The restaurant was packed and the staff was always attentive, clearly running around to be sure every single table was happy. It's nice to see people who put so much pride in their work. Clean and well styled. Good atmosphere. The name is also a fun historical reference!”
