“I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the 3 course bar tasting and hope to return for dinner in the dining room one day. The bar was quite interesting considering that it is a 3 Michelin star restaurant. I really wanted to love this experience but it was marred by one of our friends who wanted to drink wine which was quite good, but the cocktails seemed far more interesting as there were many handmade flavored liquors in evidence and the barkeep was very knowledgeable. I did enjoy the food, but again hypercritical comments marred this aspect as well. Great service and nice memoir food gift at the end. Hope to return in the future.”

“Atmosphere was pleasant, staff was quick and friendly. The view overlooks a golf course making it less attractive than other nearby places. We were there for brunch at 1 pm. The staff was well informed, when asking about their assorted pastries they mentioned that they had a limited selection at the time so we went with the cheese plate which was delicious and well explained. The food was prompt and exactly what we ordered. The only issue was with the burger which was mildly tasty but not what we expected for the experience. Overall it was a great experience and we even met a wine proprietor.”

“The food is delicious, the service is very good, and the ambiance is more intimate than it was several years ago (before the CIA moved the restaurant to the gatehouse from the main building). The menu items are of the current trend: limited but diverse selection of dishes, with each featured food having a supporting cast of bits of intriguing ingredients, seemingly with no ingredient shared among multiple dishes. The recommended wine pairings were good, but I wish they would not use port-type glasses for ALL of the dessert wines; the sauternes bouquet wasn't accessible in that glass. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.”

“Been getting pizza here since they opened. Definitely recommend the Lg Combination with Xtra Mushrooms and Onions. And they’re pretty solid when it comes to having your pizza ready to pull if you give them a “Can you have it ready for 6” situation so that your pizza is piping hot. Just be sure to give them atleast 30 minutes to get everything together and cooked though. My go-to for sure , just wish they had enough business to stay open after 9”

“My group of 18 ladies had dinner at Goose an Gander to celebrate a birthday. We had a reservation but we arrived early. We waited in the downstairs bar until we could be seated. We ordered cocktails which were wonderful and enjoyed by all. We ordered several appetizers of chicken wings both wet and dry with duck fat fries and we absolutely loved them. I ordered the hamburger cooked medium and it was delicious. Several of us had to send the fries back because they weren’t hot but they were more than gracious and immediately brought out piping hot and delicious duck fat fries. Many in the group ordered the various seafood selections and the ribeye special. Everyone was more than pleased. We were such a large group and were dreading the payment process but to our surprise the staff brought out individual bills for all 18 of us. We of course didn’t ask for separate checks because most places refuse to provide them. Needless to say that was icing on the cake. Our food was delicious, the drinks were wonderful and the service was excellent.”

“There's no doubt, the diner food here is really good. Excellent burger (the ahi tuna was cooked perfectly, and was a nice change from usual burger menus). The vanilla malt milkshake was creamy but could have done with more malt. It's a cut above regular fast food and this is reflected in the prices: around 40 dollars for two for fast food still feels indecent. The service was also monumentally slow. The setting is nice and it's pleasant sitting outside.”

“Its been 4 years since we've eaten here but I wanted to share our experience. In 2015 we lost our home in the Valley Fire. Our anniversary was just days after that. Someone we know recommended the Harvest Table. The friend gave them a heads up we were coming. They treated us so special! I will never forget their kinds words and special service on our anniversary. The food was wonderful. I would recommend the grits as a meal all by itself, Yummy!
