“I stumbled upon Capizzi's while selling tickets for Palm Springs Power a couple years ago. They weren't quiet open yet but I was welcomed in and offered shelter from the heat and some water. Louie told me his story and talked about his plans for the shop and how much finally opening up his own place meant to him. I have to admit, that before meeting him, I never liked cheesecake. It just wasn't for me. Then he offered me a slice of his traditional cheesecake. I accepted because I didn't want to be rude and just wow. Every feeling I previously had about cheesecake was out the window. It was creamy and the crust was just amazing. He offered a couple other flavors and I devoured every little bit of it. It's probably good that I don't live closer or I'd be there at least once a week. Thank you for sharing your amazing story with me, Louie, and thank you for making me a cheesecake person.”

“Rolled in on a Tuesday at around 1pm and it was halfway full. We were seated at the back quickly. The servers were all very nice. The place was mostly clean and well lit. I ordered the California omelet and it was pretty good and FULL of avocado! The country potatoes were slightly soggy. And the food needed salt. The coffee was hot but on the light side.. The pancake instead of the toast... YESSS! And the pancake was really good! Like buttery goodness and fluffy. I would stop by again for breakfast if I'm IN the area.”

“I usually do the Taco Bell surveys when I receive stellar service, but today I received extraordinary service! This was during a lunch rush, so the drive thru was slower than normal, I later found out it was call outs... when at the window I had already realized and could see the manager taking care of the lobby and drive thru customers with exceptional speed and service. When I received my order, the manager apologized a thousand times for my wait and gave me my meal at no charge. I really appreciate this high level of service and just wanted to commend her for making my good day even better!”

“A small restaurant with an owner operator chef who has a passion for the origins of food and respect for quality organic ingredients. The ceasar salad and lamb were both creatively prepared and bursting with a variety of flavors. Complemented by attentive and knowledgeable coutrtious service staff. All complemented with the wonderful guitar playing of Mike, who demonstrates a wonderful talent and improvisation with a jazzy bluesy sound that helps the digestion. A wonderful dining experience.”

“Amazing service, outstanding food, and live music (tasteful and subtle electric piano and vocals in the main dining room). At least on the Friday evening we dined. We arrived at about 8pm and it was pretty packed. We had a 30 minute wait. But you know what that means - that the place is gonna be worth it. If you hate waiting, I think they take reservations. My mom caught wind of this spot from a local when she was flying into town, and we were thrilled that we were able to make it in. I have said it already, but I will say it again - LA TABLITA ROCKS. We ate at the bar and were served by Christoper. who was a delight. Oh, and if you like things HOT, ask for the hot salsa. It's homemade and amazing. Recommended.”

“⭐⭐⭐4/23/2019... Update...... Stopped by for lunch at 2 PM. They have a happy hour menu with great selections. Staff was amazing . We had 3 appetizers, 3 Vodka/Tonics (lg glasses), and a diet Coke. All for $33.00 ????. They also have a full menu available as well. The prices are great. The food was great. And they are open for Breakfast. You have to try this place.... Great staff.. Great food.. The sliders were perfect.. seriously.. perfect size.. Portions are great.. Happy Hour prices are hard to beat. Ezzy was amazing.. very attentive .”

We went through Del Taco on Christmas Day when our friends suddenly woke up with a bad headache and we were not going to have the Christmas brunch as planned we went through Del Taco got 12 Del Tacos set it up on nice plates with a glass of wine and had a fabulous Christmas brunch. “10/10 I've been going to this place for years and it has always had great food. Great pizza, You can see your pizza being hand tossed as its prepared. The hot sandwiches are amazing. Seating can be short sometimes but it's worth the wait..and if you have to wait, no big deal theres a cool little bar upstairs where I go until some of the bigger crowds leave. Definitely 1 of my top choices for pizza in the palm springs area”
