“Decor, ain't much. Potstickers are delicious and the hot bowl of rice, sprouts, zucchini, carrots, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, shrimp and steak.... fun, filling and flavorful! Price, slightly high but we shared one bowl, lots of food! No atmosphere, so no 5 stars, that I reserve for fun. Service ok, not much personality. Food made up for it!”

“Really good. I had eggs Benedict, Denver style.. Poached eggs, Canadian bacon, fried onions and peppers. Hollandaise sauce was just right. Potatoes chunk style on the griddle (excellent) They offer about 20-25 flavors of coffee, both decaff and regular. Located right on the main drag. Indoor or outdoor eating, so take Spike for a stroll and stop by. You won't be disappointed”

“THE TASTIEST BURRITO I'VE EVER HAD ! My wife and I came in here today for the first time to try the food. The place was packed out to the max but we got our order in quickly and our food was delivered to our table within a short time frame. Our burritos were the tastiest ones we've ever had ...by a mile. We can't wait to come back and try something else. We loved it so much we came back to try more burritos a few days later ...still the best !”

“The Lotus Cafe is a delightful vegetarian eatery plus a whole lot more. I had the vegetable curry bowl a hot, spicy explosion of flavor served with chapati. The Moonlight smoothie had an intense mango flavor but not too sweet, a perfect compliment to the curry. The outdoor veranda is dog friendly. Situated midway on Hwy 101 in downtown Encinitas. Enjoy the many choices, you'll be back again for more.”

“This is the 3rd URBN I have patronized and the pizzas are consistently great. This location is a little smaller than the others, but it really feels like a local's hangout. The mashed potato pizza is always a great introduction to their pizza. You won't be disappointed.”

“We haven't been here in about 4 months, it has gone better since we were gone. We are late eaters, so we appreciate restaurants that are open late. The food was awesome, get the chicken pate, it is amazing. And the cheese and aged meat plate was yummy. All the salads are good, and we had the super tender short rib. Have fun with Luke while you are there, and enjoy a nice late meal.”

“We have been there for dinner and lunch. Both times were very enjoyable. The food were great and so were the servers. The lunch order came with a good size salad. First time seeing more seafood than pasta. The squid ink pasta buried under the seafood has good texture. Rack of lamb, yum yum. Definitely will go back and bring friends.”

“This is really a great cafe which we found by pure luck. Minus 1 star for taking cash only, but otherwise a 5 star cafe. I ordered the BlackBerry pancake which was huge and delicious. The bacon is also terrific. With more time, the corn beef hash would have been of interest. Wait staff was really great. Dining room was clean and charming. Recommended as a super place for breakfast.”

“Very nice cafe with some substantial food options. The turkey sandwich and chicken burrito were tasty. I couldn’t taste any chipotle on the chicken burrito but it was still good. The iced latte was excellent and I liked the glass straw. Quality is very good and organic with prices to match.”

“Friendliest, most delicious Mexican joint around. Just look at the reviews and see how many people have been coming here for 15+ years. I drive down from LA simply to have a Justin burrito - they're that good. There will never be another Rico's. Do yourself a favor and frequent this legendary pillar of North County; get yourself a Justin burrito and absolutely drown it in the house sauce.”

“The sushi was fantastic! Everything was really good, only thing I didn’t absolutely love was the ramen, I still ate it all of course, ha, but the broth had an unusual flavor too it that I didn’t love. I think I’ll try the miso ramen instead next time. Everything else about the experience was great. We went again for a second trip during their posted business hours but the lights were off and door was locked. No sign or anything explaining why. We were a little confused.”
