“been visiting San Diego from Chicago for a week with my boyfriend, and we needed a good coffee to start our day and keep us moving with the time change. Stopped by this cute little cafe right near Petco Park, and the barista (I don’t know her name but she was the absolute sweetest) made my boyfriend and I the best coffee we have had all trip. I have a caffeine intolerance, and being able to have decaf espresso is the only thing I can tolerate. She made two of the best Vietnamese Iced Espressos I’ve ever had. Definitely a favorite and will be back next time we visit ❤️”

Rolling Kitchen

Address: 1002 Market St, San Diego, CA 92101, USA

Restaurant

“Order anything and I promise you will not be disappointed. Loaded chew steak, Fries and club burger were all delicious. I started with a cheesesteak then came back for seconds. Max (chef) and Ashley (wife) hustled for over two hours as I watched them tirelessly take door dash, Uber eats, and misc. ride share orders. Max (chef) was a sous chef in Rosario, but was laid off as a result of the pandemic. The sign says it all, this is truly a restaurant in a truck. Ashley (wife) mentioned they’ve been here for a year!! Up and coming, giving it a few years if not less and I have no doubt they will be one of the most popular trucks or brick and mortars in all of San Diego.”

Their spicy yogurt sauce wasn't very spicy, I couldn't taste any heat. The tzatziki was good but the bowl needed some chili or garlic sauce to break up the richness of the other ingredients.”

The Mission / East Village

Address: 1250 J St, San Diego, CA 92101, USA

Restaurant

“Definitely the best place to get breakfast or brunch in San Diego! The staff is very kind, and it’s very clean inside. Their food is to die for, I’m a steak person so me being me, I got the steak and eggs and at first I was skeptical because most places I’ve gone, their steak and eggs aren’t very good. But once I had a taste of The Mission’s steak and eggs, I was soooo glad I got them. It was amazing!! The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor was so good, and the potatoes were great! Their grilled rosemary bread tasted amazing, it was soft but also crunchy which is how I always like my bread, I was impressed with how well all of the food was. I’ll definitely be coming to this place again the next time I visit San Diego. I recommend this place to anyone visiting San Diego who are looking for a place to eat, it’ll definitely be worth your while!”
