“My first time eating here. My boss raved about the food, and detoured off the 5 Fwy North back to Orange County just to get takeout for our ride back. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a steak and shrimp burrito that was damn good. Fresh ingredients, tasty, and worth the price. I would detour again to eat here.”

“This place was amazing, the food was so fresh and delicious. Perfect amount of spice. What made this place my new favorite spot is that it's not just the food was amazing but the service was impressive. Our waiter Martha took the time to explain everything that we needed to know about this restaurant. She explained how to balance the flavors in the meal, she went beyond what was needed. And that honey wine is literally adult juice. I am going back again to this restaurant. Really really impressive in all facets. Thank you Martha if you're reading this.”

“1. Good Food. 2. Moderate Spicy (add the Hot sauce as needed and they have plenty packed and ready to pickup) 3. Not overpriced. 4. Busy place but quick service. 5. Small outdoor dining available. 6. Not easy to park the car for pickup.”

“Came here with the family, got a huge amount of Thai food and some to go, and everything was great --- taste, portion size, service, ambiance --- so we were able to leave full and happy. Highly recommended! Update: Came back again. This is a great place in a cool neighborhood! Everything we had here was wonderful, including the food, service, presentation, decor, etc. The only problem was that I was so relaxed and happy that I ate too much of the yummy food.”

“Neighborhood place I go to every once in a while. The coffee is okay/good. The food is Interesting . Some of the items are better then others. They have a great garden/ patio area which is a plus on a perfect San Diego day. Not my favorite in the hood but a adequate option.”

“Love this NEW ALL VEGAN restaurant & latest edition to San Diego; "The Loving Hut Express". One of the tastiest & best vegan food in town. Fair priced & you get large portions. Please just take a look at my photos. First time here and had to try a little of everything. They offer vegan Vietnamese cuisine and a few American style dishes as well. My favorite dish is the COCO TOFU & CHA-CHA TACOS and my wife loves the Lemongrass tofu & BBQ NOODLES. Too bad we live about 2 hours away or else I'll eat here a few times a week! Definitely will stop by again when my wife & I are in town. Thank you for the great service & great VEGAN food Loving Hut Express.”

“Very good, very nice interior, clean. nice service. They brought the food to our table actually. I thought it would be like regular taco shop. When I stepped inside I was like they put thought into this. It's beyond and it's not Americanized Mexican food so this is a plus to me.ciz I need that authentic Mexican food in my life 😂”

“The good: believe I found another hidden 💎 The food here is so good. The staff was knowledgeable and patient with us. The food was hot and out of the dishes we got it was more than enough to feed 3 people. The calamari was delicious. The beef dish that we got fell apart the chicken was shredded and the sauce it was served with was amazing combination. Would definitely eat here again and would recommend 2 friends there's 2 friends. The bad: no parking The ugly: no parking”

“Clem's is a fantastic family-owned local establishment. They are incredibly friendly, truly care about their patrons, and the food is top quality. It is technically a bar, but the food far surpasses your typical idea of "bar food". My wife and I love grabbing food and a drink at Clem's and have built a friendship with the owners and staff. I highly recommend!”

“A unique blend of Mexican cuisine. I tried the fish taco and carnitas taco with their rice and beans on the side. Very delicious. My nephew selected a specialty beer which he stated was very tasty. Carlos was our server and he catered to our every need. All of the menu items selected were hot and delivered quickly. We ended our dining experience with their bread pudding dessert which was large enough to serve all 6 of our party. It was more costly than I would prefer but it was a good dining experience.”

“I thought the food here was pretty damn good, especially since it feels like a lot of these new “trendy” places aren’t all that good. So absolutely no complaints on the food — or the service. I’m giving this place 3 stars because they don’t accept cash. I know a lot of places are doing this, but it really aggravates me when companies decide to go the card-only route. I can pay with a card, but I prefer to pay cash most of the time. I don’t want to get into an economic discussion, but there is a vast amount of people who don’t have bank accounts at all, and can ONLY pay with cash. I know people who don’t have a bank account, credit card, or anything like that, and basically the restaurant is choosing to say “no thanks, we don’t want you to come to our restaurant” under the guise of COVID. Anyways, good food, but I hope they decide to change the card only policy.”

“Usually this place is pretty good and quick. Today I was in and out in 2 minutes. However, when I paid for my food, the girl at the register didn't give me any change. Not so great on customer service”

“The people that imply the food is unhealthy or old are exaggerating. It is exactly what you would think an inexpensive all you can eat sushi place is. There are a few choices for sushi, several hot items and interesting desserts. The sushi the day we went was pretty poor but we are a little bit of sushi snobs. Lunch is probably worth the price at about 13 dollars but dinner at almost 25 is way over priced.”

“Let’s start off with the good, The food is amazing IF you like food with a kick, I ordered my food mild, and my wife ordered hers naked, which came with a sandwich, fries and a chicken tender (which seemed bigger than the sandwich) the food was promptly made and hot (heat wise) which is always a good thing considering chicken. There are stool seating to people watch while eating, which can be good and bad, depends if your watching or being watched…just a heads up. The “needs work” aide of this review, inside seating is mainly for 2 people max at a table. The seating Was very limited so I chose to sit outside in the elements or have my chair bumped every time someone was near the register ordering. Possibly rearrange the seating to accommodate a little bit more elbow space between the register and people eating. I didn’t ask but please note the fries have some kick to them. Possibly the mild or even hotter level as far as spice, so you have been warned if you are on the lower side of spice tolerance. Also if you wanted additional sauce it’s an extra charge!!!! Yikes as you only receive a small plastic condiment container with your box meal. So plan ahead and factor in that cost as well per box. Parking is not a pleasure there either, there are a lot of stores in the complex, so don’t bring a big truck or anything larger than a four door sedan or small suv, you will possibly not fit within the lines. More or less about the complex and not Main Chick’s issue. So in conclusion, if you’re feeling like chicken this is the place for you, it’ll change your mind and surely scratch that itch. Would I recommend, YES, The only reason I didn’t rank them a 5, is the inside seating layout (not conducive for large groups at all) it’s a grab your food and beat it type of place. That really kind of killed the vibe, and ability to take everything in at least for me.”

“I love this place.I am never disappointed. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Steve and the crew do a great job making whatever I order just the way I like it. “The Cali Burrito was of good quality, decent size, it came with sour cream, and they have Three different salsas to choose from! Usually a Taco Shop will charge extra for sourcream! Friendly customer service was appreciated too!”

“I live near downtown (20 minutes from here) and wait to order a drink after I drop my daughter off at school so that I can order. Why? because staff members like Damon and Isaiah literally make my day better after our short little conversations. I run a business where our priority is customer service. As a result, I only support business locations that offer the same kind of customer care. Go here, you won’t regret it.”

“Ever eat at a place and wonder how are there multiple of them? I really wanted to like this spot. But it was a let down. Chicken was dry and not crunchy. Had just spice but no flavor. Slaw and pickles were eh. Bun was toasted but cold at the same time. I know its opening week but since it was a chain in LA figured it be something better.”

“I love all the variety of drink options that was offered. As soon as I saw flan frappe, they had me sold. I didn't know what to expect but let me tell you I was not dissapointed. It was not overly sweet and still had the taste of coffee. It was really good and the perfect pick me up. The shop was lovely, staff friendly and atmosphere just overall positive.”

“Pretty great Ramen spot! The noodles had the best flavor of noodles from any Ramen place, although mine were somewhat clumped together with made it hard to eat. Broth was good, the meat was OK, but nothing too exciting. It's a cute little spot and customer service was pretty good, although it was quite a long wait for our food.”
