“Wing Wednesday is a must at Sandbox and the service that we got was second to none! The weekends are busier but the atmosphere on a Wednesday night made it the perfect spot for a late night bite and drink specials that start at 9. Our server was courteous and nice the entire time. One of my favorite spots in Pacific Beach. Great new location and it has a welcoming vibe. My girlfriend and I tried the hot and mango habanero wings and neither disappointed. Meat was perfect and the flavoring is unmatched.”

“We love this place. It can be a bit crazy and the small kitchen can get overwhelmed. BUT- The food is great portions, hearty, well flavored and just good. We love Christina (the owner) and her staff who bust their behinds everyday to make sure it all comes together so we’ll for each patron. Tonight we switched it up and got the lemon pasta with chicken, it was enough for my young adult daughter and I to share and delicious. Light, not a heavy sauce, well flavored and a great portion. ❤️”

“Love this place from the music to the good vibes that welcome you in Tea was amazing the variety and food were worth the drive. I had the Phoenix and my daughter had the Starboy look forward to trying different ones each time I go. We tried the sweet potato fries which were a nice treat. The girl that took our order was super sweet. We definitely will be back because of our awesome experience.”

“This is a relatively small Chinese restaurant on Convoy. I highly recommend that you make a reservation in advance. We over heard that the wait was going to be 15-20 minutes for a party of 3 at dinner time on a weekday. We ordered 8 dishes. All came out pretty quickly. The roast duck bun was amazing. Buns were nice and soft, and the roast duck was made to scrumptious and made to perfection. My family liked the pork belly the most. The pea pod leaves in garlic sauce was my personal favorite since I prefer a good veggie dish anytime. I won't recommend the soup or the house steam chicken. Chicken was dry and tasted old... service was quick. My only complaint was the poor soundproofing of this restaurant. It's so noisy inside you can hardly have a conversation with the person next to you.”

“The food is absolutely incredible. I've always come here and just came back for the first time since quarantine. They were very cautious with making sure the tables and grill were superbly sanitized and allowed us to walk up and select what meats/veggies we wanted. Then they served it onto plates and brought it to the table for us. The quality of the meat was amazing, especially the brisket and short rib. I'd say more but I've got a massive food baby right now and going into food coma! Swing by and see for yourself, you wont be disappointed. Better than any other Korean BBQ in San Diego!”

“This place serves authentic Japanese food just like being in Japan at a small restaurant on the corner of a street. Definitely my favorite Japanese every day type food restaurant. I haven't tried any sushi here but that isn't why I come here. Very reasonable prices and good fast service.”

“The place for satisfying the spicy Chinese food craving. Whether it's sliced fish, spicy dry pot, or true szechwan delicacies like frog leg or duck tongue they've got you covered. I'm also a big fan of their spicy eggplant. The only reason I don't eat here more often is because, despite what my taste buds crave, my stomach can only handle so much heat. Great for sit down or delivery and never disappoints.”

“New favorite casual korean spot that sells comfort food. We had the samgyetang (chicken soup 삼계탕) and jaeyuk (stir fried spicy pork 제육볶음). Both were solid and reasonably priced. When I don’t want to break the bank and have good korean food, I am going to come here. The owners are really nice, too.”

“We walked in and it was really busy but we didn't have to wait as we chose to sit at the bar where they still serve the full menu. The bartender was really friendly and was familiar with the whole menu and helped us out with our drinks and food order. We got a couple of different dumplings and some noodles and the food came pretty fast. Everything was delicious and priced very well - this was the second time I've been here and I'm overall super satisfied and would go again.”

“Great service and great food. My wife and I are new in town and we stopped in to try it. I strongly recommend the shrimp fried noodles and rice. 10/10 definitely going back for more!”

“I've had Peking duck in Beijing and this chef does it just right!! Very rare to find. This place is a gem and everyone needs to get the Peking duck! I called ahead for to-go and the chef had it ready right on time. Very satisfied.”

“Was my first time. The food is really good and the waitress was really nice. It's a new establishment, but it's got a really cozy feeling to it. Plus, they have a pool table if you like to play. The waitress also told us that they do karaoke. Forget what night. I definitely will be going back. Plus, it's a short walk from where I live.”

“4 star only because although the food was great there was much more sauce and veggies in my spicy chicken combo. It was almost worth the price. Still good and spicy though.”

“One of the best crab boils I've had. The craziest part is that there is a crab shortage. The flavors were amazing and the sides, oh the sides, are so delicious. My guilty basic pleasure is garlic bread and theirs is in my top 3. The best part of eating here is the service. I felt guilty asking for any extras due to being a small restaurant, but she knew ahead our needs and never had to even ask. This was our first time here and could not get over the outstanding service/food. We couldn't stop giving thanks even though we figured that this place must be well known. But we didn't get any snobby response. This place is almost 3 hours from home but I will try to become a regular!”

“50% OFF menu. If it wasn't for the 50% it would have been a little expensive. We were walking around and we thought to try this little place and we were glad we did. Sushi rolls were very tasty. Clean place. The staff is nice, helpful and beyond. You can ask'em anything and will help you as much as they can. We tried 6 rolls total and every one of them was very good. And that was the second time visiting Kuchi. We'll be back soon.”

“This place is great and I will be coming back again. All of the people we met were super friendly and the place was super clean. We very much enjoyed everything we put in our mouths. Did I mention how nice the staff was???? They have a dog friendly patio and comical quips outside the bathroom. This is a FOR SURE revisit”

“We had a great experience from the time we walked in the doors until we left! Service was quick, full of smiles and always making sure we were well taken care of. All of the cuts of meat and the veggies we ordered were excellent quality and fresh! This is the perfect place to go out with friends or family looking for a great meal and a fun time together. 100% recommend!”

“I love this place! They serve at Societe Brewery like 6-7 days/week. Societe has great beer, though a bit pricy. The taco truck is what brings me to the brewery. I’d probably come to the brewery a few times a year if they didn’t have Fit Tacos (Now Chachos Tacos). I’m in clairermont at least one week and I try to make it a point to hit up the taco truck every week.”

“Cute little restaurant, service was good, food was good, the sides could of been fresher, seemed like they had them sitting out for a while, they we're room temperature. I also wish they had a couple more sides, like seaweed salad and the marinated mushrooms. Something I wasn't too happy about we're the flies stopping at our table trying to get a bite, I wasn't too bother by this but I know if I had taken my Mom, she would of left right away. I will probably give them another shot.”

“This is the best restaurant I've been to in SD. Me and my friend ordered 2 pastas, popcorn chicken, chicken wings, soda drunk, shuffle. All of them are perfect 10/10. All the food ordered had 'layers of flavors' and they match so well! Pasta originates from Italy but the sauce is from Thailand, plus the herbs and cheese and fresh tomatoes and they all match so well. Would love to come again!!”

“This is more of a drinking place than a Restaurant! If you just want to eat without drinking, then i recommend going next door to DJK. Here you have to pay extra for more side dishes. Although good kimchi, good service 👍”

“The quality of the food is good. It is not an all you can eat place. Their prices are a bit expensive. This is good place to eat if you want an intimate setting for dinner. Service is good as well.”
