“This place hit the spot! We were at a concert at the Soap Factory and we were ravenous. We luckily landed at El Chile and the rest is history. We highly recommend the mulitas—the happy marriage of cheese, onions, brisket and the TORTILLAS was memorable. We will also be back for the tacos. You will find all the extra fixings with salsas, chiles, and radish were well provided. We will be back. There are also a few seats at the table to comfortably enjoy their delectable food. Demasiado rico! Comida casera, excelente servicio y experiencia única! Volveremos pronto, gracias Azucena por todo!!”

“I love seeing an awesome coffee shop in Logan Heights. I’m new to the area and have driven by this coffee shop several times, and finally decided to stop in and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere is peaceful and clean. A perfect place to “work from home!” The drink and food menu had so many great choices it was hard to choose! I ended up getting a delicious danish to pair with my latte. I can’t wait to come back and try an empanada and açaí bowl! I’m also am looking forward to the Tap Room opening next door.”

“Beautiful view of San Diego Bay paired with great tasting beer makes this brewery a must visit! They have a lot of beer options, so start out with a flight to find your favorite. You also get a free glass and 50% off of a t-shirt with the flight! For food, we had the nachos, 2 tacos, and the fish and chips. All of the food was pretty good, but my husband thought the fish and chips were outstanding. Employees were all super friendly and happy to offer recommendations.”

“Animae left me utterly blown away with its contemporary ambiance and elevated flavors. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the modern and chic atmosphere. The menu featured a delightful fusion of cuisines, and each dish surpassed my expectations. I was blown away by the exquisite flavors and inventive combinations. The service was a standout, unparalleled in every aspect. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the culinary experience they offered. My dining experience reached new heights with the help of a knowledgeable waiter who expertly guided me through the menu and tailored my dinner to match my palate perfectly. Overall, Animae is a gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a food enthusiast or simply seeking a unique culinary journey, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their exceptional creations. Price wise, this is a very expensive restaurant but it is completely worth every penny. If you’re looking for a completely renewed fine dining experience, this is the place to go.”

“I have used this location for years. My car has always been safe and they have frequent shuttles to and from the airport. It cost a little bit more but if you're in a hurry it's only a short walk/run across the street.”

“When you arrive to the hotel you will need to take the elevator to the third floor then you’ll walk straight all the way down to the right and head to floor 19. Next you’ll walk in to a whole different world. Magical looking restaurant , gave me vibes as if I was in a jungle in Tulum or somewhere far away. The food wasn’t bad, meatball pizza was the highlight. The pasta was way to salty and couldn’t be eaten or enjoyed . Other than that, this place I feel like is more for the scenery and the photos. Not sure if I’ll be back.”

“After a long two years getting excited for this place to open I was surprised how big, open and beautiful it is! It’s got a great atmosphere, vibe and beautiful decor that goes well with their comfortable seating. The servers are incredibly kind, the coffee isn’t very good and the food is what it should be quality wise for the price it is. It’s a great space if you need an office from home for a day! If you need a quick bite it’s great, not if you’re wanting a good coffee.”

“Look for the red and black Board Head patio umbrellas. The name is above and on the door but written small and can get lost. I didn't know I was there until I was right on it. Reminds me of the Jewish delis in NYC. Got the special which on this day it was a mushroom swiss burger with fries and a drink. The fries were golden , crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The burger was perfect. Service was great and I went back for ice cream which was refreshing on this perfectly warm day. Great and inexpensive place. Across the street was double and I didn't feel like paying $30-50 for lunch. Small seating area inside. They also have drinks in coolers; béer, water and soda aomg with a few items like a 7-11. But I recommend sitting outside if the weather is good. It's across the street from the bay and it's blocked by several cars but still a great view.”

“Stunning views. Spectacular service and amazing food. I had never eaten (or wanted to) octopus before. But much to my surprise it was delicious. It was firm and well-seasoned making it extremely flavorful. It was served atop some house-made hummus and garnished with cherry tomatoes and Brussels sprouts. The vegetable flatbread was loaded with vegetables on a nice soft flatbread. The ahi sliders were perfect. The Brussels sprouts dish was fabulous. They were roasted, cooked just right and not burnt. The cocktails were refreshing and not overly poured. It was a fantastic place to visit. I live in Florida but thoroughly enjoyed the California vibe.”

“I am thrilled to discover a new Chinese/Taiwanese dumpling restaurant in Point Loma today! The service was outstanding, with attentive staff who ensured a delightful customer experience. The food arrived promptly, exceeding my expectations in terms of speed. Each dish was a delight, and loved that there was a wide variety of dumplings and appetizers to choose from. The green onion pancake had an incredibly crispy texture that was immensely satisfying. I also relished the green chive with shrimp and pork dumplings, which were served in generous quantities of 14 per flavor ordered. To enhance the flavors, I paired them with a custom dipping sauce I created using soy sauce, chili oil, and vinegar in the spice rack. In addition to the dumplings, I also savored the refreshing cucumber and wood ear mushroom salad, which served as a perfect palate cleanser between bites. It's worth noting that the restaurant has limited seating, with only about four tables available. In the event that all tables are occupied, I recommend opting for takeout to enjoy the delicious food from the comfort of your own home. We shared four dishes between three people, which was perfect. The parking lot in front of the restaurant is typically always packed during lunch, but there's a handful of street parking. I look forward to trying other items on the menu and will be back!”

“Local coffee shop that serves THE BEST coffee I've ever had. It's single origin so you're getting a superior flavor and quality. The owners are very polite and engaging and always provide good service. The food is the perfect thing to accompany your drink of choice. There's a nice outside patio that creates a little retreat from the hustle and bustle of the day. Sit there, relax and enjoy a fine cup of coffee and peace of mind.”

“Really enjoyed this bakery/restaurant. It sits on the corner of Juniper and 30th. This one is South Park, they also have a location in North Park. I got chocolate croissant, breakfast croissant (eggs, bacon, cheese, arugula, tomato) w side salad, and lavender mint latte. The lavender mint latte was the best! Great blend of lavender flora note and minty flavor. The bacon in the croissant was over cooked. Very crunchy. I would prefer it to be thin and crispy like chips not thick and crunchy like chicharrones. Overall, great food. The mini cheesecake and fruit tart were delicious. Limited seating inside and there are outdoor seating along the side walk.”
