“SUCH a great little spot. The savory pies are great. I have yet to try the sweet ones. I usually get the Green Hog, a Chile Verde pork pie. The classic chicken pie is delicious, the herb sauce they use is so good, and the pastry is flaky and delicious. They have a yellow curry veggie pie, also great flavors and hearty. The mashed potatoes are really yummy, i think they put sour cream in them but please don't hold me to that. From their sweet selection, I did try a couple of cookies, oatmeal raisin, and chocolate chip. They are nice, large cookies. The apple pies-cream is genius! It's a slice of their apple pie in a cup with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel. They have a good selection of coffee drinks that look and sound amazing as well. Definitely recommend!”

“Clean looking food truck with handmade chips for quality chilaquiles. Tender juicy barbacoa and guacamole added. Decent and very filling portion for the price. I tried the mole sauce which was mild but very flavorful and almost sweet. They don't really make super spicy food here but do have hot sauce. Located in the gas station parking lot most days. May have to come back for breakfast burrito soon...”

“Long wait line, worth it. The staff is excellent. Communicative and kind. We ordered the PH salad with shrimp, acai bowl, and the lamb burger. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and was really tasty. They actually got my order wrong with the beef burger, but they were quick to fix it and adding a veggie platter. Took 5 minutes to replace. All the food was good and fresh, and the bathrooms were clean. Worth the price and wait.”

“A quaint minimalistic-designer restaurant which seats about 25 people. The dishes are beautifully presented. The Dori Rice casserole had distinct flavors of mozzarella cheese, parsley, bits of chicken, and rice. Long baking time so be patient, it’s worth the wait. The Yakisoba noodles delicious. If you are a ginger fan, you will like it. The atmosphere was great. My only ‘not so great’ feedback is the condition of the menu. For a place which seems to meet all the details of perfection, the paper menus were creased and tattered and if you come to the restaurant on a Sunday when the doors open at 11am, you may have to wait for menu.”

“Wow, what an addition to the Barrio Logan area!! Came on a Saturday night, the streets are quiet, but the few bars/brewery are lively and there is plenty of street parking nearby. Walked up and the hostess didn't have any tables for 2 available at the moment and that we can just do the "Standing Room" for now, but she promised us that she'll let us know when a table opens up we can get it. (So get a reservation if this is important to you!) We stood by the bar and we were taken care of once we looked ready to order. Very friendly staff! We luckily go seated, but every angle of this place is amazing! I LOVE the decor inside, so creative and indicative of the family roots and culture this place represents. They have a Live DJ up in the corner and I think you can chat them up and requests songs, and the music was AMAZING. We only had a few drinks, but definitely get the Barrio Gold, Lucy's Love, something Mango! They have some food, but we didn't get to try any. I can see this place doing very well, can't wait to bring some friends here to experience it!”

“I visited this place for the first time and let me tell you, there's nothing that I can compare it to. The atmosphere is incredible. The staff did a great job in creating an immersive environment. Everyone was having an amazing time and looked extremely happy to be there. The food was okay, with an outstanding presentation, but not too different from Karinas. Large portions are a plus. I would suggest chips and salsa as courtesy like every other Mexican seafood restaurant. Overall, the team has done a fantastic job in creating a very unique experience, and just for that, I will be coming back. I have already shared my experience with family and friends.”

“Well when I first walked in I just had to appreciate the artwork on the walls! So beautiful and such a friendly atmosphere. Customer service was okay. The food was delicious! I would definitely ask for extra sausages and potatoes when ordering a seafood mix. I definitely will be coming back there again! I spent a maximum of $90. They also have a good selection for kids who do not care for seafood.”

“I normally don't go to Karina's do to the bad service at the other locations. I was in the area of this new location. I decided to give it one more try. I am very satisfied with the service I was given by one humble and smart girl. The food was great. The place was clean. Satisfied customer. 😁”

“If you like Mexican breakfast with a little spice, this is it. And very filling! I ordered the signature breakfast plate, chillaquilles (of course), eggs, beans, potatoes, and steak. Everything was delicious, I couldn't finish it. The gentleman that served me, I didn't get his name, said he was part owner. They had roots in Jalisco. He knows how to run the business. Everything was great, even the music. Take a little time and enjoy this place.”

“I was craving for a good torta, and came here. Ohmygosh it was worth it, I had the torta de milanesa with the beans, you can’t forget the frijoles you know and con agua de melón, Ohmygosh i haven’t had agua de melón in a while and this hit the spot. Also I recommend asking for the chilito on the side, I don’t know what kind it is put it’s spicy and good on the torta. Enjoy !”

“Ok. This place is amazing. The food is so delicious. We sat at the bar. The chis and salsa show are delicious. I had the spring lamb and carnitas tacos. So good. The chicken taco was as well . The mixed drink pours were generous. Hit this place up for sure.”

“Got off the Amtrak literally not even 20mins as of today 09/20 Note: this is located inside the Santa Fe depot station Ordered a small latte, cheez it, from there. Latte was good! Service was great and they have a pretty decent selection of chips and quick bites to eat! Also delta 8 koi vape pens and delta 9 gummies (yes as in cannabis) Now idk if they're for real or it's like the gas station version where sure u may be cloud 9 but the bubbly guts of 6am regrets kick in at 3pm while at a in n out Overall 8/10”

“Found this restaurant after being told we would have a 2 hour wait at the national chain restaurant across the street. So glad we gave it a try. Great service and delicious food, and in and out within an hour. I didn't get a picture of the humongous burger because my daughter immediately dived in, but she said it was great. My husband and other daughter shared the Meatza pizza and said it was perfect. I had the cheese steak and it was definitely at the top of the list of cheesesteaks I've had. It became steadily busier as we were there but our server continued to give us great service.”

“We stayed at the Hyatt and the market coffee shop was just too insanely crowded. Decided to go the Starbucks across the street and it was absolutely a lot easier. Specially, if you do a mobile order. Quality coffees the same as any Starbucks which you can’t really go wrong with the atmosphere. Yes it’s busy but it’s faster than the one inside the hotel. Highly recommend going here. People are pretty friendly and there’s seats available outside.”

“The setting is very nice, second floor overlooking the harbor. The food was hit or miss. The tuna tower was excellent, except for the bitter cucumber bits. The shrimp cocktail was very good but a bit spicy. The ossobucco and scallop tacos were excellent. The chicken (pollo asado) and carne asada tacos were also excellent. The ceviche was very nicely done with excellent home made chips. Lastly the birria tapitia was burnt an bitter. I would definitely go back for the view and the atmosphere, however, the food still needs some work.”

“I enjoyed this pizza location. I was looking for more affordable eating, at least for lunch, during my convention visit at the nearby hotel. The serving size was two good sized slices. I custom ordered a second topping where typically an extra charge is added but that didn't show on the menu at this location. I was charged extra, so not the deal I was expecting. Pepperonis were cup shaped, not my preference. Tasty nonetheless. Seating is outdoors at community tables. The area just outside the restaurant was busy for me, but I found a table nearby. Not sure how often trash and food scraps are cleaned up in the community tables. There are views of the harbor or waterfront.”

“So here’s my honest thoughts about this place; I was visiting San diego and just wanted a quick bite while exploring the seaport area.. I came across this place on google and decided to gove it a try. They have starters, bao buns, bowls, sweets and boba. They have so much variety for you to choose and make your own bowls. You can choose your base, protein and sauce so you can customize it to your own. One bowl I tried was the Mandarin Orange Chicken w/ soy dressed noodles.the noodles were ok. I also tried the spring rolls and wasn’t a fan.. I did like the chicken though but it was a little more sweeter than what I personally like. It was a great flavor overall. Overall its a cute place. 1 thing I dint like was there were a lot of flies around the seating area.. but again its outdoors.. but if you are on a budget.. and want to try some quick asian food.. give it a try”

“Incredible good coffee and healthy, fresh food options. I am from MN and this was a pleasant and delicious surprise! We ordered the 3 Seed Avocado Toast, Bacon Ciabatta, Mocha Latte and Blended Caramel Iced Latte, every morning during our stay. SO good. Great customer service. Highly recommend.”

“This place is a hidden gem. Don’t go here as you will fall in love and spend all your money on lunch here. The quessa birria tacos are huge and come with dipping juice. Will be back here for the secret menu!”

“Okay everybody... If you have not been here yet you need to get down there! Kind of a seedy neighborhood, but the restaurant itself was beautiful. The decor and the layout, everything was stunning and the food was no exception! We ordered two cocktails that were exceptional, the beet salad, little neck clams, striped sea bass and the skirt steak. Not to mention the very random cheesecake parfait. Each dish was exceptional in its own way. Bursting with flavor, lots of color, and just the right combinations. They spaced out the servings one at a time so we really had the opportunity to enjoy every plate. Can't say enough about the skirt steak ... Omg incredible. Also don't be scared to try the cheesecake parfait dessert. When they served it I was like what is this? Haha But every bite got better and better. I will definitely be back to this beautiful fusion experience!”
