“WOW!!! Parking is super easy and there was no meter parking so that makes it convenient. With everything going on with the Covid they have it under control, you can order takeout or call to place an order as they do not offer online ordering. The wait time is a little long but worth every second. I ordered the biscuit with egg made over medium, cheese and sausage. We also had a breakfast burrito which had the potatoes, eggs and sausage inside. Hands down the burrito was the best I've ever had. It was large, moist and the flavors complimented each other. The breakfast biscuit was very good as well but the biscuit took over the inside of the sandwich so be prepared. The homemade salsa, and coffee were amazing! Highly recommend this place.”

“Hands down, the best place to eat in Pismo Beach. We picked up takeout yesterday (an assortment of salads for our group of 6) and everything was so delicious, we came back today to enjoy them again. The lemony/herby smoked salmon salad is delightful. They smoke the salmon in house and it's some of the best we've ever tasted. Hats off to the chef for such great food (I especially loved the liberal use of fresh herbs). We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.”

“The fish n chips was amazingly light and delicious. The fries were fresh homemade. We also had the grilled artichoke which was awesome. Yummy. They offer take out beer as well. The blood orange draft was great. Staff was great and friendly. The place was very clean and attractively decorated for Christmas. We ordered ahead fir pick up and it was ready in 15 minutes.”

“My son and I visited Pismo Beach two weeks ago. We decided to eat at Rosas . I would have given it a five star if it wasn’t for the hostess who took two other families before us as when we called said no reservations needed first come first served. This was not the case that fay clearly she kept seating people before us to the point where a guy asked what was going on with us ? At that time I didn’t know but he was the owner who was super nice n humble ! Our waiter was awesome as well. If it wasn’t for these two guys I would never go again. Uncertain why this hostess kept ignoring us but I sure hope the owner talk to her as he was clearly aware how we were treated. He offer to sit us right away!”

“This is now my go-to BBQ restaurant for Pismo. The ambiance is a nice rustic with concrete floors and a roll up garage door for the wall to the outdoors. Then add on a generous portion of nicely cooked brisket, fresh sides, and you get a great meal. For example, if you order fries they are cooked specifically for you and delivered to your table covered in foil so they stay hot. These touches, plus the large portions make the price worth it. Not cheap, but the worst thing is to pay a lot, get a skimpy meal, and leave slightly hungry. Not here. Well done guys! One small suggestion....the BBQ sauce is stored on ice. I get why, but I hate putting chilled sauce on my hot sandwich. Some restaurants place the sauce in large stainless steel soup pots on a warmer with a pump on the top to dispense warm sauce.”

“The good: good pastas and pizzas, big outdoors space. Our waitress was really nice and friendly. The bad: the two waitresses were faking wearing a mask... The barely wore it on their mouth and definitely not on the nose... The nice waitress' nose was completely out and the mean waitress has some kind of see-through net as a mask... Right, that will help stop spread the virus... They also had zero awareness for food restrictions (on you asked for vegan? Just take the cheese out...). Oh and the second waitress (not ours) was rude.”

“I heard a few months ago that HotShots makes a good Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. They only offer them at special times, and you can preorder the sandwich. Well, I saw on their Facebook page that they were available recently, so I placed an order. So worth it! It was the best hot chicken sandwich I've had. We also got an order of sweet potato fries and liked them too. We will definitely be back!”

Bread, meat and ingredients were all high quality, and the price isn't necessarily inflated, making the value proposition here rather fantastic. The homemade chips that come with every sandwich are divine. Seasoned beyond anything that comes in a bag, crispy and perfect, these chips deserve honor and awards. Bring on the medals! I also really appreciate a concise menu. It's easy to find classic sandwiches and go with the Chipwrecked take on them. Both the BLT and the Tuna sandwich, staples on any menu, shone like flagships. Highly, highly recommend.”

“Good place to eat after a day at the beach. The food has lots of flavor, and the restaurant has a relaxed feel. I tried the sampler plate, that came with chicken, pulled pork, and ribs, few other goodies along as well. Food was very good, almost has a sweet taste to it. The portions are good and food goes down easy, not heavy at all. The staff is very friendly and nice to kids. I would recommend going here if you never have before. Also, if you are looking for a Santa Maria style BBQ, this isn't it.”

Our order also had a burger that I opted out of certain veggies, oh...but little did I know I was in for a wonderful surprise. My burger was loaded with perfectly crunchy and sweet sandwich pickles. “Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and affordability of the food here, which is casual— sandwiches burgers fish tacos chowder salads. I got the Baja fish tacos which had crisp battered cod and an incredible slaw on top. Also got the yummy kale salad which had shaved Brussels sprouts, dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds. Dining partner had a fish sandwich and steamer clams—both were also good. Fast friendly service and outdoor tables that were more or less spaced apart appropriately. Lovely view of the sandy beach just a few feet away. Would definitely return!”
