“Authentic Thai food! The seating area is pretty small, but the food is pretty cheap and tastes authentic. Ordered the Pad Kee Mao, basil stir fry, and Tom yum soup and it was deliciously spicy. Owner is a nice, hardworking lady and seems to run the place all by herself. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Upon arrival of our friend we ordered more wine and uncorked two of our own bottles. Appetizers were ordered as well. For such a large party, I was impressed by the quick and friendly service. I sampled the Deviled Eggs and Calamari and both were amazing.I have never had Gnocchi of any kind so upon delivery, I was excited to take my first bite. Wow! This plate was incredible!”

“Not exactly a New York slice but probably the best you’ll find if you’re craving that pizza style in the Peninsula. Like a true New Yorker, I got a plain cheese slice and sprinkled oregano, garlic powder, and Parmesan on top. $4.99 seems steep for just a slice, but it is pretty large and filling. I do miss my NYC dollar pizzas.”

“Good pizza overall. Don't know if they have thin crust options tho...I've always gotten regular crusts on mine. This location has a nice separate room (not sound proof at all) for parties or team meetings.”

“Damn the food here was good. Lots of Taiwanese and Cambodian dishes. The most popular are the fried cucumbers, their pyramid fried rice and satay Chow mein. We ordered the numbing spice fish which was delicious. The basil tofu eggplant was fantastic as well. The wait staff was very friendly and very talkative. I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer. Ample room for seats, nice big bathrooms and parking lot. Come try this place out.”

“Excellent value. I got a plate for about $12, and it easily could have filled up two people. Great local vibe, and the salsa bar isn't too bad either.”

“Been bowling league here since the 70's. The current owner is a very nice gentleman and he does all he can to make this alley the best it can be.The ladies that work the desk here are all wonderful (especially Danielle). They always show they care about each and every customer! The bar has great drinks and good prices. Friendly bartenders that I really enjoy as well. Also, fresh popcorn which is a treat. When my daughter was in high school I always liked knowing she and her friends were going bowling here as I knew they were in safe hands and these days that is a huge relief. Really like the fact that the parking lot is under surveillance so I can park my car with peace of mind. If this bowling alley ever closed, a way of life for me would end....and that would be beyond sad????”

“Family owned authentic Cantonese restaurant just south of Hillsdale Mall. Free parking on the street in front of the restaurant. Facilities are contemporary and clean. Service is good, staff is attentive. You can get old school Cantonese food here that you can't get at most places. Definitely a place to take your relatives for a blast from the past!”

“Used to go here a lot when I worked nearby. Just walked over for lunch. Menu is the same as the other ones. They closed the one in the town where I live. Now this one is the closest. But only come by once in a while if I have something to do nearby.”

“The best Mexican restaurant on the Peninsula. Ask to sit in Mamacita's section, she is the BEST. Their food is consistent, I often order their Mole, which is hard to find, and it is good. Over the years, I have probably eaten half of the menu, and everything has consistently been great.”

“Great small restaurant on border of San Mateo and Belmont. Delicious homemade pasta dishes, with our favorite being the ravioli, linguine with clams, and seafood dishes. We also love the mussel appetizer which comes with a generous serving of mussels in a delicious red tomato sauce and bread. Waitresses, especially Karen, are very friendly and recommend great choices. Sometimes the chef comes out and greets the customers too. It’s a small restaurant so having a reservation, especially during peak hours, is helpful. There’s also about 10 small tables outside with heat lamps nearby. It seems best for small parties of 4 or less, but there is an option to combine tables for 1 large group of up to ~10 people. Parking (free) is easy on the street.”

“This meal was delicious, ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the meatballs were perfectly spiced. Just enough sauce, not drowning in it. mozzarella sticks were nothing short of perfect also. Definitely a great experience and would highly recommend.”

“Very similar to eating where there are a lot of of Chinese nationals and the language is not your own. At times there is waiting for your food, but it has ALWAYS been a pleasure and good. Remember that this restaurant is a jewel because you get good Chinese food cooked by Chinese personnel doing a good job. I enjoy it every time I have gone there, little faulty and all! Never have hesitated to patronize the stablishment, so that's good ????! Update... Returned to the same great flavor, same great food! ???? CONGEE w /vinegar n a bit of soy sauce. Next day; dumpling noodle soup n cabbage something... ????”

“Delicious food, good variety of menu items. Relaxed, contemporary styled atmosphere that is deceivingly larger than it appears from the outside. This place fills up quickly with patrons around normal lunch and dinner hours, so I would recommend arriving by 11:30am if trying to beat the lunch rush. The staff is a good level of attentive, and they are good at changing out your grill periodically without you needing to ask.”

“Starting with the atmosphere inside the restaurant I have to say there was plenty of different types of seating that allowed for comfortable conversation while still providing great service. The wine list is quite good and the prices are not ridiculous. The food is outstanding having tried several dishes there now it is consistent as well. Go there and you won't be disappointed.”

“This is by far the best Mediterranean food I have tried in San Mateo. The quality as well as quantity is great. The service is amazing and ambience is good too. One thing is missing is that their plates or combos do not include hummus. Mediterranean food is incomplete without hummus. You have to buy it separately for around 6$. Overall a highly recommended place.”

“Pretty good standard dominos. Ordered here a few times and order has always been complete and correct. Sometimes they don’t put much of the garlic butter on the crust so it can be a little bland.”
