“Just passing through and had an amazing experience! First, such a cool spot! Decor is really nice and it's super clean. Service was awesome; super friendly. Pretty extensive menu too. I had BLT on sourdough, really yummy, fries were exceptional 😋 Husband had the tortilla soup, hands down best I have ever had! Flavors were great, chock full of chicken, a meal in itself! The cocktail list looked awesome too.”

“I have been worshipping Starbucks for over 18 years now. I am thrilled to see another altar constructed so close to my domicile. I can’t wait to give 10% of my income every paycheck to ensure my favorite sanctuary endures during these difficult economic times and beyond.”

“Dropped in after car shopping for a quick bite during lunch hours. Place wasn’t very busy. Maybe two other patrons at the time. We were greeted quickly, given napkins, silverware, menus, and water within the first two minutes of arriving. The waitstaff were patient and friendly. Everything appeared clean and ready for business. They have two non-gender, single person restrooms available. Both were spacious and clean. There is a patio area available should you choose to enjoy the Gilroy sunshine. The menus have a lot of choices available. You can check out their food offerings online at their website. Their drink menus are also vast in offerings. They have a mixed cocktail menu as well as a tap list that includes draft and can options. I’ve railed on this during other reviews and this probably won’t be the last time I do so; but since the pandemic, food prices have increased while portion size has decreased. It’s my only complaint about Alehouse and Bistro and to be fair, it’s my complaint about damn near anywhere lately. With the economy being as tough as it is right now, coupled with the ridiculous gas prices, there really isn’t much money left in people’s wallets for disposable income, meaning less and less people are opting to go out for meals and drinks, or at the very least, less often. Otherwise, our visit was nice. The food was good, but for the price and serving size, there’s no way it could’ve been worth it. For those curious, we ordered Wagyu Sliders (2 for $18) and Guac and chips ($8 for a small portion of guac and a si gel serving of chips).”

“Great location! Amazing food! and what is more important is that the owner really cares! I had the Salmon/Ahi tuna combo with brown rice / lettuce combo and it was very good. The added bonus is that they also serve beer and wine.”

“We've lived in Gilroy for 9 years now and we never knew that this place existed. We were out and about, took a wrong turn and found this place. We decided to check it out and then picked up some amazing thick La Rosa tostada shells for dinner and decided we would try the restaurant part. We ordered breakfast burritos and they were great! They didn't offer us any salsa roja etc. So I had to give them a 4 star rating as salsa would have pushed the burritos over the top! I had a bacon, egg, cheese, refried bean and potato burrito. The bacon had a nice taste along with the perfectly cooked big chunks of potato in it. I recommend this burrito! We will be back to try the chorizo as well!”

“I really used to LOVE their bagels & sandwiches, but it seems they've gotten almost all new employee's and since then the sandwiches have become VERY skimpy which is highly disappointing. Also, calling to place an order over the phone is always a nightmare. I usually can't get through to anyone because the phone seems to be disconnected or nobody answers.”

“Pretty nice place! We were out for u-pick cherries and got up so early to avoid the heat without breakfast. Treated really well in Sandy’s, food is good and staff is kind. Had a really good time!”

“Excellent place to experience the delicious flavors of Venezuelan food. I loved the Arepa pabellón with the mix of sweet and salty and the atención was also excellent. Highly recommended.”

“We had a great time at Tempo! My band, The Blue Ocean Rockers, was playing there so we brought a bunch of friends. Everyone loved the food, mixology (had some great one of a kind cocktails) and especially the atmosphere. You know the owners are music lovers because the music-related memorabilia on the walls really tells that story. I hope they'll book us again soon!”

“Here is what I personally like about NTG: great ingredients, good portions, friendly service, fast online ordering. Here is what makes me reconsider whether I want to continue giving them my business: they have this really bad practice of automatically adding a tip when you order online. I understand that the customer can manually override the tip they add, but why is it an automatic charge? If I order online to take out, and if I pick up my own order, why should I pay a tip? For what service? It is deceiving to automatically add a 15% tip on online orders. Tips are fine if a customer eats in and if service is provided inside the restaurant to an acceptable level, but to charge tips for take-out orders is wrong. The issue here is that if the restaurant chain wants customers to tip the kitchen staff then they are not taking good care of their own kitchen employees and I for one would not want to patronize their business any more.”

“Pros: *They have friendly customer service Cons: * They lack menu selections and variety, * lack of dessert -they only had 1 dessert option. * The lack variety of non alcoholic drink offerings *The appetizer onion rings were alot of fried batter with hardly any onion inside, *Cajun Chicken Alfredo pasta was greasy and not flavorful. They don't offer vegetables on the side, unfortunately. I wouldn't go back again. The prices don't justify the taste of the food.”

“Amazing Vegan burger. Possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. Ask for their garlic aioli if you are not interested in the vegan cheese. Their fries are amazing too. So glad to have a place that serves a good vegan burger in town.”
