“Service is welcoming and very polite. Food is delicious. Big portions. Kid menu friendly with Indian and American cuisine options. Clean eating area and pleasantly decorated. We dined in, and it took about an hour and a half for dinner for two adults and two children on a weekend at 5 pm.”

“Just passing through and had an amazing experience! First, such a cool spot! Decor is really nice and it's super clean. Service was awesome; super friendly. Pretty extensive menu too. I had BLT on sourdough, really yummy, fries were exceptional 😋 Husband had the tortilla soup, hands down best I have ever had! Flavors were great, chock full of chicken, a meal in itself! The cocktail list looked awesome too.”

“I have been worshipping Starbucks for over 18 years now. I am thrilled to see another altar constructed so close to my domicile. I can’t wait to give 10% of my income every paycheck to ensure my favorite sanctuary endures during these difficult economic times and beyond.”

“Dropped in after car shopping for a quick bite during lunch hours. Place wasn’t very busy. Maybe two other patrons at the time. We were greeted quickly, given napkins, silverware, menus, and water within the first two minutes of arriving. The waitstaff were patient and friendly. Everything appeared clean and ready for business. They have two non-gender, single person restrooms available. Both were spacious and clean. There is a patio area available should you choose to enjoy the Gilroy sunshine. The menus have a lot of choices available. You can check out their food offerings online at their website. Their drink menus are also vast in offerings. They have a mixed cocktail menu as well as a tap list that includes draft and can options. I’ve railed on this during other reviews and this probably won’t be the last time I do so; but since the pandemic, food prices have increased while portion size has decreased. It’s my only complaint about Alehouse and Bistro and to be fair, it’s my complaint about damn near anywhere lately. With the economy being as tough as it is right now, coupled with the ridiculous gas prices, there really isn’t much money left in people’s wallets for disposable income, meaning less and less people are opting to go out for meals and drinks, or at the very least, less often. Otherwise, our visit was nice. The food was good, but for the price and serving size, there’s no way it could’ve been worth it. For those curious, we ordered Wagyu Sliders (2 for $18) and Guac and chips ($8 for a small portion of guac and a si gel serving of chips).”

“My first time trying pupusas and I’m in love!!! Each dish is packed with so much flavor and you can tell they’re made with fresh quality ingredients! The pulled pork on top of the piggy fries was so soft and impeccable! Leila’s tostadas are also a must-try here! My favorite pupusa was their jalapeño cheese one!”

“Very lovely small family owned business. Me and my family ordered food and in less than 10 minutes food was hot, delicious, and ready to eat. MMMMMMM it was highly satisfying. Burrito was smooth and asada fries were to die for. Best quality asada meat I have had yet! Will come again when I am in town.”

“Delicious Austrian food conveniently located on California Ave. While the food is on the pricier side, every dish ordered was absolutely delicious. Ordered the scallop appetizer and while it was super delicious, it's quite price for the amount of food you're getting. Get it if you have no qualms about spending. The New York Strip Steak Main dish was quite tasty. Great value, lots of meat and perfectly cooked while being very tender. Ordered a variety of dessert options to share with the group at the table and came away impressed. Vanilla soufflé was delicate, light and fluffy and the highlight. The apple strudel and chocolate cake was quite delicious as well. Overall you can't go wrong here, easy to make reservations even the day before for a dinner time reservation. Service was exceptional and we were well taken care of.”

“Great bagel place, they serve quality bagels. We tried everything bagel, one with cream cheese and other with egg & cheese. I must say the bagels were soft and amazing in taste, we also tried cappuccino and their regular coffee and it was good. Their prices are reasonable and the service is quick. They have variety of bakery items but not a single gluten free option. Last, personally I felt that the welcoming nature towards the guests was missing, for someone coming in for the first time, they could suggest some options to try. Although, the bagels were great in taste, definitely coming back.”

“Coupa Cafe has everything that a nice lunch place needs, and it's nestled deep within the business area. The options are good and the food is terrific. I'd recommend ordering in advance via the app to avoid any delays during peak lunch hours. My only gripe is the pricing. It's a bit on the higher side but overall the place and their food is awesome.”

“This place just recently opened off of El Camino in Palo Alto near California Street, but it's already become super popular. It's open late, the service is fantastic and the food is solid. My bf and I came here a couple days after they opened and we were given a full bottle of sake on the house and the owner even came and sat down with us for a bit. Great vibe, good food and solid service. This will definitely be a go-to place when we're craving sushi, especially if it's late at night.”

“Food is decent and the staff do a great job, but the prices are insane and have gone up steadily since they opened while portion sizes have gone down. (A side of onion rings is $8!) Unless you’re set on staying on campus, you’re better off going to Gott’s.”

“This charming little candy shop nestled in a Los Altos neighborhood are what treasured childhood memories are made of. It's easy to feel as you are a character in children's storybook tale when you are there. The candy and sweets keep the kids coming back. The espressos and cappuccinos will entice the adults to return just one more time, everytime.”

“Boutique Japanese restaurant serving A La Carte and Omakase. The food quality here is top notch. The first is tender, the tempura is crispy and crispy and fluffy. Definitely the best tempura that I ever have so far. The presentation of the food is amazing and beautiful, along with the decor. The place is small, they are serving all the guests with the same dish at the same time, so it might take some time for the dishes to come. Please expect a slightly longer than normal dinner. Other than the food, they have a good selection of sake. The service is top notch of course. The average price is about 150 per person. Please make reservations.”

“Came here for dinner and the wine tasting they have on Thursdays. All I can say was my experience was excellent 👌🏼 A couple of the wines were different from anything I have tasted in the past and it was fun to do something different. I ended up purchasing a bottle to take home. The food was fantastic! The service was amazing!!! My friend and I did outdoor dining. As someone who does a lot of outdoor dining I am used to not being checked in on as most people choose to eat indoors, especially when the weather is cold. I was very impressed with how often we were checked on being the only table outside and it being very busy inside. I love the heat lamps they have outside too. They were a lot smaller than others and point to your core so it was a lot warmer. Attached there are photos of some of our food... The dessert got into before I remembered to take a photo 😅 I got the wine soaked pear dessert and it was absolutely delightful! I have already made plans to come back with another friend. Thank you!”
