It’s a small intimate location & it tends to get busy rather quickly after 9a ... so arrive as early as possible. A variety of fresh coffee choices delivered in cute unique mugs. Seems like everyone gets a different design. Make sure to ask for creamer early since they do not automatically bring it out. Chicken & Waffles was superb. Waffles are delicious and the chicken is cooked perfectly. Make sure to ask for syrup early too since it’s not automatically brought with your food. Their oatmeal was very good too. Very large portion to this entre too so come hungry”

“The cleanest restaurant I have seen in a long time. The owners are over the top compliant with COVID standards, friendly and cater to the pickiest vegetarian (me) . Their attention to detail is great all the way around. The tabbouleh salad is a VERY generous portion and was over the top fresh and delicious. The lentil soup was filling and chalked full of flavor. If you want something that will bring you back for more try the Eggplant with Garlic and Tomato (Imam Bayildi). Light tomato flavor, infused with garlic, bell peppers, onion and a spice mixture that I am still craving! The hummus was fresh, topped with chick peas and outstanding olive oil and spices. This was the very best vegan food I have had in a long time and I live in Santa Cruz the vegan capital of the world...Thank you for a great meal.”

“6/12/2020 update, Jack's is open. Good selection, I am glad they are back. I was wanting to go here for quite some time and finally was able to stop in. I usually just get a couple of donuts at the Von's, that is one block further. Today 3/20/2020, Von's had nothing as far as fresh pastries. I decided to go Jack's and check them out. Boy was I glad that I did!! Fresh and at a good price. I did notice the Ralph's grocery store patrons waiting in line to get do their shopping. I would like to make a valuable suggestion two shoppers that are near Jack's Donuts, why not pick up couple of their donuts and something drink while you have to stand in line? You won't be hungry while you are shopping and you will help a small business make it this tough time. I plan to be going there on shopping run from now on. Be Well Everybody!”
