“We stayed in the "Classic Room" with a king size bed. Perfect for a couple. The staff were all very helpful. Note: 20% tips are automatically added to any of the Broadmoor Restaurants, and you can add more of a tip of you'd like. Make sure to take some time to explore the hotel. There are tons of interesting photos, art work, and memorabilia. The fitness center had free weights, 10+ treadmills, training coaches, exercise machines, etc. One of the best setups for a hotel/resort that I've ever seen.”

My husband noted how impressed he was that they pulled out my chair, put the napkin on my lap, filled my water first, help me put my coat on etc. Of course that’s just the service I was talking about. The food was another thing. We shared the wedge salad to start and it was so well balanced in flavor. Very enjoyable. Both of us also ordered steaks and sides. I have had some pretty good steaks, but the ribeye I had rivals for my favorite for sure! We then had the cherry almond strudel pie which was lovely. Lake Terrace Dining Room is a favorite of mine because of the location (views of Broadmoor Lake) on the Mezzanine level of the main building, the absolute freshness of each item of food, and the wonderful ambience of the entire experience. “This was a delicious and friendly Mexican restaurant. We ordered shrimp fajitas, a carnitas plate, and guacamole. The guacamole seemed to be freshly made. The takeout service was quick and efficient. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and will for sure go there if we are in CO Springs again. “Wow, what an unbelievable job Brett has done with this place! For those of you who are local, Happy Tap moved into the spot that was formerly occupied by Smiling Toad. They have a terrific lineup of beer, shuffleboard, a steel-tip dart board, and a ping pong table! You can definitely have a great time here, even just kicking back at the bar and chatting with Barry, who is one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet (especially if you're a 49ers fan!). I for one can't wait to go back!”

Tim and his wife Shauna are the perfect hosts.....Shauna is the chef and she came out to say hello and help with our dessert selections! The margaritas are made by hand with fresh squeezed lime juice, the enchiladas are amazing along with the ceviche! The decor is beautiful and the barrel chairs are so comfortable to sit in while enjoying your awesome meal! I highly recommend visiting while in Colorado Springs!!!”

“Colorado Mountain Brewery is one of the cleanest and nicest looking breweries that I have been to. The drink menu isn't very large unfortunately, which was a little off putting for a brewery but that also means that you don't have to drink as much to try out all of their beer. I'd recommend getting a flight of beer as it includes all of their drinks, excluding their one seasonal beer, all of which were pretty good! This felt more like a restaurant than a brewery. The food was also good, especially the brisket sandwich, and it's all complimented with a beautiful view of the Rockies. Service was also great. Overall, this was a nice place.”
