“Not the best tasting pizza I've ever had, and was surprised at the limited options. I had always assumed this to be a rather large buffet. It's not. I had a last minute birthday party here with a group of 12. No one absolutely loved the food, but no one hated it, and the teens and kids were pretty happy with the options and ate quite a bit. There's a little game room with quarter machines. Drinks are not included in the price and that was disappointing. But I think for a family dinner when you really don't want to cook, or a birthday party, it's a suitable place. Not busy on a Sunday afternoon and easy to put together tables to accommodate larger groups. Price is set right for what you get, especially if you're feeding young kids. Would have loved a better salad bar, but the dessert pizzas went over very well with everyone. We didn't try the pasta or soup, but nice that it's offered, so there is a little something for everyone if not everyone wants pizza.”

“I love going there for the chicken strips. I always get them tossed in hot BBQ and the strips are 2 to 3 times bigger than all the places I've been to. Definitely worth the price. This place is AWESOME. I had the honey bbq cajun wings and they are probably the best wings I've ever had. The fried okra was like candy to me. Plus they only took about 15 minutes for the whole order. We will be back again and again.”

The Victorian themed restaurant has ample room for customers on two levels, some really interesting decor and a small arcade for the kiddies. Great place for parties. “Just had lunch with my wife and are simply blown away. Between the sweet tea and lemonade both made from scratch. The server was amazingly polite and very family oriented. In the time we spent in the restaurant the server never stopped cleaning and ensuring we had all we needed! The food came out seasoned to perfection. My wife had the salmon. The serving was very large with rice and green beans. Let's just say she has not stopped talking about it and making plans to return. I had a platter of mixed foods and was blown away with flavor and textures. The chef came to the table and ensured we enjoyed the food. After today's service I will be making this a regular stop. Now when you arrive the prices do seem high but between the quality, quantity and service they are under charging in my opinion!”

“We came at prime time breakfast time and I was thoroughly impressed with the huddle of the staff. The hostess team was really moving to get people sat and everyone was really pushing hard. Our service was great and I would highly recommend the burrito! Enjoyed eating at this funky diner. Had a sample of the green chili. Very hot. I enjoyed the French toast and he had a small burrito which was still huge. Good and friendly service. The servers watch over each other and great coverage.”

“Little quick spot to eat. Order at the counter, and they’ll bring your food to your table. This place has been around for years, but this was my first visit. The two of us just ordered gyros, which seemed a safe bet. Wow - much better than I expected or usually encounter. The pita was so soft and fresh, but had good chew. The meat was also fresh and tasty. Typical toppings, and a nice tzaziki on top. It was large enough I couldn’t finish it. Reasonable prices, clean, friendly service. We’ll be back to try other menu items. Highly recommend.”

“Sadly disappointed but the potential IS there! Went here for the first time today and ordered an 8 inch pepper cheese steak sandwich with mushrooms and a small order of fries to go. The fries came in a good size portion (larger then I expected) but we're either over cooked or kept under a heat lamp way too long. Dry and crunchy I was only able to eat 3-4 fries. Could have been good, but it wasn't. The cheese steak was also a good size portion. I'm a "big guy" and the 8 inch sandwich would have been surprisingly just enough for me (if I had been able to eat the fries). 12 inch would have over stuffed me with fries. The meat is good quality, but that too was over cooked and dry. Decent amount of peppers, onions and mushrooms but there was virtually NO cheese!! I actually had to open the sandwich to find the tiny amount of cheese stuck to the bun. They call it a CHEESE steak for a reason! Pricing was good considering the portions but I probably won't go back because the entire meal was dry and overcooked. But it DOES have potential to be a great place if only the cooks didn't over cook everything.”

Additionally, the sides are quite large (big enough to share with another person), so that lessons the sting a bit. The waitstaff has always been friendly, kind, courteous, and helpful. “The Melting Pot offers the greatest, most satisfying dining experience ever! It tops #1 on my list of favorite restaurants! But be forewarned, it cannot be rushed. Most dining times will take 2 to 3 hours. The first course is your choice of cheese fondue, followed by a tasty salad of choice. Mine was the California salad with raspberry vinaigrette. The third and main course is your choice of meat or vegetarian entree accompanied with a variety of broth or oil based fondue. The final course is a chocolate fondue of your choice. For each type of fondue you are offered a delectable variety of food choices to skewer to your own preference. The Melting Pot is great fun for groups as well as an intimate setting for couples and families. I cannot recommend this fantastic restaurant too highly!”

“Today was the CO Springs Summer Vegan Market held at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. While there we had lunch at TASTE. I believe the menu choices were changed to cater to the vegan crowd that was there. We ordered a vegan curry dish and a vegan fruit gazpacho soup. The curry dish was tasty but the curry sauce was a bit pasty dry when mixed into the rice and other ingredients. I would have preferred it a bit juicier. It was also to salty for me. The fruit gazpacho was excellent. The patio view is absolutely wonderful and very spacious. Our waiter was excellent and very friendly along with everyone else that worked there. The menu also has some other interesting choices worth trying.”

“Not sure the name of the guy working today around 430, but my friend and I call him Napoleon Dynamite. And while we were enjoying our hangover laughter we highly enjoyed him adding to our day! We were cracking up the whole time the trip was completely worth the laughs. He is great. And seriously that was the best Subway sandwich I have ever had in my life! Every single a ratio was perfect I didn't have anything fall from my sandwich let alone a single crumb. We had talked about him all day but after actually killing my sandwich (It was really really delicious), I felt the need to praise him here. The Lay's bacon jalapeno popper chips were "alright". And the only negative thing I have to say is that the store was freezing...it was a cold day and no one in the store could even adjust it. We decided not to eat there as cold sandwiches and a cold building isn't the best idea on a cold day. Oh and please hurry with the vegan meatballs. I'll live there.”

“Great, fresh sushi all the time. I've never had a disappointing meal here. The servers are good, however I think they only have one person making the rolls, so be patient. It usually takes at least about an hour for dinner, from start to finish. Rolls are a little pricey, but worth it! This is a dress down, casual place with only a few tables, but I've never had to wait to get in.”
