“This place is awesome. Prices are reasonable for the LARGE portions of food I got! I ordered fried pickle appetizer, and the Mac and cheese with a side of fried okra. The fried food was absolutely cooked to perfection and the Mac and cheese was home style cooked. The sausage/hot link was super flavorful as well. Yall, it's 2021 and stuff is expensive - not because it's overpriced but because it's wildly expensive to run a business, especially a beautifully and specifically curated one like Hovey & Harrison. Take some time to peruse the small market that's inside. Buy a fresh baked goodie. Get a bottle of wine to share at your table. Get the hummus and whatever seasonal salad they have. Sit outside and enjoy the patio and then explore Edwards :) Love it when I get to go to Hovey & Harrison.”

“The food was amazing, I had the make you own omelette with toast and fries. They staff was pretty nice and helpful but in order to get through to the back porch you had to walk through the mess that was the kitchen. The back of the restaurant seemed run down and needed an update! The kitchen staff was not friendly and any time I took the trek from the back porch to the front through the kitchen they just stared at me. This alone ruined the neat rustic environment for me.”

It always feels a little dicey ordering from "fusion" places -- sometimes one or the other style (or both styles) of food aren't great. In this case, both the sushi and the Chinese food were great. The vegetables in the Chinese dishes were quite fresh -- always a good signal. And the sushi rolls were enjoyed by kids and adults. A great experience overall.”

While out in the city watch for decorated or painted rocks amongst the city dirt, grass, or business landscaping; maybe in a local park or on the trails, and any rock bed in the town.
