“We went for a nice dinner for two. They seated us on a wall bench that was nice but it was cold this evening. We asked to be moved to a table near the heaters and within a few minutes they found us a seat next to the Mystic river and a heater! The wait staff was very accommodating, polite and professional. The food was fantastic! We asked to speak to the manager and compliment the entire staff at S&P for their above and beyond service! You must visit and you won't be disappointed!”

“I almost went to a different ice cream shop on the street but this one grabbed my eye. Let me start with saying that the shop is filled with fun nic nacks, lots of yummy treats to choose from and really good looking beverages. My friend and I just tried the ice cream. There were not a lot of choices but from what I understand, they change their flavors often which makes it so much more fun an exciting. I love trying new things. The choices they did have though were all tempting. The ice cream was creamy and the portions were amazing. I was extremely satisfied with my visit. I would like to come back soon and try some of their unique beverages or buy some desserts. I gave it 4 stars because I have not tried anything other than ice cream. If it was just an ice cream shop, 5 stars all the way.”

If you are in the mystic area or venture out for amazing food like I do...I highly suggest Rise as your breakfast destination. Dishes have big fillers that leave you wondering where the entree you ordered actually is while you dig through a pile of potatoes dominating your dish. “Excellent food! I highly recommend the crab cakes ! Our children have peanut /tree nut allergies and our concerns were addressed promptly by our waiter. He explained the chance for cross contamination on certain items. Their food was clearly marked with an indicator that stated "allergy" when it came out. Our waiter Willam, was very attentive to all of our needs throughout the meal. Great place to take kids to expose them to eating at a "fancy" restaurant.”

“We visited this place on a Sunday night. We loved the beer garden atmosphere and would have sat outside by the fire pits if it were a tad warmer. The food was great. We ordered a few meals on the entree and the beer was actually really good. They have a tiny video game room and games for the table which was very helpful to keep our 6 year old happy while we waited foe the food (didn't take long). Service was good and quick. Totally recommend this place if you are looking for a good wholesome meal.”
