“This is the absolute best place to grab a drink and get a small meal anywhere in Lakewood Ranch. They have the largest selection of craft beers that have been hand picked by the manager Travis. Josh makes chef quality custom specials that are so delicious. It’s a small place where you get a personal experience as opposed to feeling like you’re just being herded through. All of the staff is fantastic. They have acoustic style music on the weekends that is usually quite memorable as well. They also have a selection of games you can play including three different sizes of Jenga. There are a few outdoor tables. They also offer stainless steel growlers and very high quality hats and T-shirt’s. Whenever I’m in town this is a must visit place for me.”

“Gave a good review at Christmas, however something has changed . We went back tonight and everything has changed! Had to send my meal back! Pad Thai. Was not edible! Vegan sushi not even close to what it was! Must be new owners, very sad ,as this was our favorite restaurant, we probably will not be returning. They do trick you by putting a bunch of lettuce at the bottom of their appetizers to try to look like there is more food there than there is. I’ve seen this with the Calamari and the bang bang chicken. There is a good amount of outdoor seating. The staff has always been pleasant even when it’s very busy.”

“Ed's tavern has risen on my list considerably. if I had such a thing, it would be in line to win most improved. Perhaps a restaurant hasn't changed that much, I just have had great experiences the last several times. Drink and beer selections are fast and prices are excellent. And the food has been surprisingly good for a sports bar motif. My wife swears by their shrimp salad. They have a great number of televisions per square foot and subscribe to the NFL Ticket. the management is very attentive. The only request they have not honored is refusing to block the Patriots games. So I just position my chair so I don't have to see that TV.”

“Best experience ever. We ordered our food at 7:50 PM, not realizing they closed the kitchen at 8. Bartender, very politely, went to the kitchen to see if they could make our order (ribs with 2 sides) I had ordered fries and coleslaw. The cook, politely, came to us and offered mashed potatoes instead of fries, because the fryer was off. I accepted that. He must have read my facial expression, because I REALLY wanted those fries. 15 minutes or so later, our food appeared, not last minute, threw it in the microwave presentation, but piping hot and fresh. Rob or Ron, came and also set a basket of fresh fries in front of us. I was totally shocked. I thanked him and his reply, and I quote, "no need to thank me, its because of our guests that we have a job, and we are lucky to have you". Needless to say, I was full and had 2 appetizers before, there was not a French Fry left in that basket. I own a Company and I'd be proud to have a member like that on our team. A+ in my book!”

“I used to ride by rimma, and always wondered how their Seafood was. I stopped in one day, wish I would have did it earlier. I ordered the blue crabs potatoes sausage and corn. The blue crabs were cooked perfectly, not mushy like other places I have been. The crab meat was flaky and very tender, and very tasteful. The seasoning they put on the crabs is on point, will definitely be back again. One of the owners Michael is very friendly and engaging, and the young kid Dominique is also friendly. I like when owners show their appreciation to their customers.”

The food didn't get me sick and researching online burger king is #1 for not putting additives in their food. When you review their ingredients online you can see that beef is just beef for ingredients and not beef with this additive and that additive like the other fast food restaurants.”
