“I love having dairy free options but did not enjoy the taste lot the blueberry pastry. The banana bread was really good though. So more like an overall 3.5 The service was great too. It was really crowded and late and an employee came out to check that what we ordered was available. I'm giving 4 stars because of the taste of the blueberry. please note: I might be based because I'm comparing to the taste of desserts with milk, more creamy and moist than dairy free... But since reaction to dairy is bad now I have to try vegan receipts.”

“Don't miss this wonderful gem on Main Street (and don't be confused - this is a fairly new business, not to be confused with the old "Italian" coffee shop here that was not all that hot). Coffee is wonderful, pastries are made fresh daily and are delicious, and we can say first-hand that the Sorrento Caprese sandwich is out of this world! Balsamic olive oil was so good I could have had a small cup of it by itself! Plus, the basil pesto - heaven! Please help keep this small business in Sarasota - stop in for breakfast or lunch - you will be happy you did! “JUST returned home from making a visit to this location. I'm a lifetime local and have been a regular customer of this particular location for over a decade. Honestly, my typical customer service experience here is abysmal to mediocre at best, with cashiers having an unpleasant attitude, or seemingly flat-out hating their job. I visited this store this morning after I first visited the 7 Eleven location down the road on Clearlake to be told they did not have my preferred cigarettes in stock at this time (after asking was told the next shipment is due to arrive in the next day). When I entered the second store I stepped right up to the counter and positioned myself in front of the clerk whom I could see was crouched just behind the counter taking care of inventory. I waited a brief moment, and a gentleman also approached the counter right next to me, not behind me. I politely called the clerk's attention, completely understandable she couldn't see me from where she was. Immediately the clerk acknowledged me and quickly prepared to start handling transactions. Unfortunately, the gentleman who had come up to the counter next to me attempted to allow the clerk to unknowingly serve him completely out of turn. I was then awkwardly forced into announcing the fact I was waiting there first. NOT ANY FAULT OF THE CLERK. The "gentleman" should have spoken up and been honest. I was quite pleased to not receive any attitude regarding the situation, and the clerk seemed happy to make sure she had the correct brand of cigarettes for me. I felt comfortable to let her know she was a lifesaver, and that this was my second stop to get these cigarettes and I was so grateful this store had them in stock! The clerk was absolutely nothing but kind, and my impression is she sees some importance in providing a pleasant customer service experience. All things considered, this was an exceptional visit for me, and I DO hope this lovely young woman (I wish so badly I had gotten her name!) behind the counter at 0600 Tue, January 21 can be made aware of how happy she made me! Thank you!”
