“I was panicked when I discovered--four days before the event--that the restaurant where we'd planned to host my sister-in-law's baby shower had closed its doors without warning. We had to scramble to find another location that could accommodate a large party on such short notice. I called Gabriel's, with my fingers crossed, and spoke to Susan, who could not have been kinder. She was friendly, understanding and amazingly generous in offering options at Gabriel's. The shower couldn't have gone better. In fact, I believe we lucked out that our initial restaurant closed. The staff was warm, friendly and patient with our group. The food was tremendous and affordable, and I walked away feeling like the luckiest host in the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Gabriel's. You truly went above and beyond for us and we'll be forever grateful that we were able to spend time making memories in your lovely space.”

Included bread and olive oil are delicious; hard to resist the temptation to fill up before your food comes out, but you should. Food is great.”

“We sat on the patio for an early dinner here. We had reservations, but we didn't need them because it wasn't crowded yet. Our server, Kara, was excellent. We had reviewed the menu before arriving and had decided to do an array of small plates and she was excited and patient with us. She was knowledgeable about the entire menu and helpful in guiding our choices. I expressed that I enjoy bourbon, but do not care for overly sweet cocktails. Based on that she recommended Smoke and Mirrors (dinner and a show!) and it did not disappoint! The food was all delicious. The scallops and flat bread were both particularly outstanding. We couldn't make a decision when it came to desert so we ordered two and both were excellent. I would recommend you come here. We will be back for sure.”

If you have never been I encourage you to have some of the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had before they close in May. They've been a part of the Kennesaw community forever and will be sadly missed. I think the city should find a way to keep them and adjust the roundabout so they can remain in business. I'm no engineer, but I definitely feel like this is feasible.”

“Delicious food, good service, clean, and above average overall. My favorite burger place by far. The fries in particular are delicious. Paired with the dipping sauces they are finger licking good. Highly recommend! The inside is also really nice and well decorated. Very convenient placement In Marietta square and one of my top picks in the square. The only sore spot is that the food takes a long time but they are always crowded so i can understand. Again, I highly recommend this place so if you feel like a burger, consider stockyard for your meal!”

“May be the best restaurant in the world. Truly a hidden gem. Came here with my wife for our anniversary dinner and was blown away by the great service and amazing food. The tomato soup appetizer was out of this world and maybe even better than the entree which was also delicious. The desserts were amazing as well. “Writing this review in celebration of Base Camp's One Year Anniversary! We love Marietta Local, so when Base Camp opened, we were over the moon to have another eatery from Jim and his team. Food is delicious, service is great, and we heathens really appreciate that it's open on Sunday mornings. ;-) I love that I can go all in and get down with some biscuits and southern fried whatever or be a good girl with a smoothie and a scrambled egg. The buffalo tots are the best! The line to order can get long, so be nice - study the menu and decide what to order BEFORE you get up to the register. Congrats, Base Camp! “This place is so great! I stopped in for some tea, this morning and met the General Manager Angelica, and Riley, who prepared my mint tea. These ladies were so cool, kind and made me feel so welcome. The ambiance is laid back, but they’re on their game. And the tea had hints of cardamom and basil, to which I added a shot of lavender. I had such a great experience, at an absolutely great place!”

“This place had outstanding BBQ! I had the brisket, my son had the pulled pork, we both had mac cheese as a side. It was all amazing but the brisket was the best part. The sweet tea was nothing to write home about but adequate - packets of lemon juice concentrate were available. The BBQ sauce was okay but reminiscent of ketchup. Honestly, their cue is so fantastic it didn't need any sauce. The restaurant was pretty good sized and it was packed full on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30. Be careful in the parking lot, they seem to have some sort of issue with a neighboring business who doesn't care for the number of cars who park there. Bathrooms we're adequate and clean. There is no table service.”
