“I want to love Chicken Salad Chick. I love chicken salad and was excited to have a location in Rome. I’ve tried 4 of their varieties of chicken salad and soup on 2 different occasions. It’s so so. The environment is great ( although quite a few reserved tables) and staff are very friendly. Yesterday I had the Buffalo Barclay and potato soup. The sandwich had no flavor. It is supposed to be spicy and remind you of wings. Sadly it didn’t taste like anything. Just bland and the toasted bread which should have had a slight crunch was flat without texture. The soup was a thin broth with large chunks of potato. It too lacked any flavor and the texture is off due to the thin soup and large chunks of potato. Really needs a thicker creamier base in my opinion to support the large pieces of potato. The shining star in both of my experiences is their cookies. Small and delightful! Perfect after meal treat. I want to love chicken salad chick but I’ll stick with either Jammich or Sweet Pickles for my chicken salad.”

“If you get your chicken, within 15 minutes out of the grease, it can't be beat! I did notice a newer employee was quick to clean empty tables and tidy up the eating area. I also noticed the newer workers are working at a better pace. Keep up the good work! Ed Fletcher Byron”

“Quick and good very inexpensive food here. If on a budget the Cookout is a great place to feed a family of five for $20. A word of advise though, don't be so heavy handed with the sugar in the sweet tea. For some it may be good but wow I almost died and had to pour it out lol. I will be doing half and half from now on. Keep up the good work”

“Our service was good. I ordered chicken teriyaki. But the chicken was not breast meat. It was some dark meat and tasted terrible. Soup was saltier than the Red Sea. Salad with ginger sauce was okay. Shrimp was good. Also had sushi that was good, but not great. Overall just average.”

“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our date night dinner choice this evening! A HUGE Thank you to Ichiban of Rome, GA and all the staff, and a special 'hats off' to our absolutely phenomenal Chef David and to our Hostess/Server Edith for making our experience top notch!! We slid in late and they still sat and served us at the hibachi grill even though it was only two of us, most restaurants wouldn't have done that, but they treated us as if we had been the first seating of the night! The atmosphere was very pleasant, the service and food was completely excellent, the price was more than fair for the quality of the food/dining experience, and the bathrooms were even very clean at the end of a busy Saturday night! What more could you ask for?!”

“We really like their food. Sesame chicken. Orange Beef. Shredded beef garlic sauce. Egg rolls. All great. My favorite is the Hot and Sour soup. That's how I judge a Chinese place. They have best in town IMHO.”

“Food was definitely five stars! Best Creole I've had in a very long time! Service for Sunday brunch was less than stellar. Our server was very slow and not friendly at all. The food took forever to arrive. Our appetizer came in decent time, but the main course took over 30 minutes to arrive. I would probably go back and just request a different server because the food was just so good and generally worth the wait.”

“On top of having the greatest name in the history of bars, Giggity's Sports Bar & Grill has a pretty good deal on a wings and chicken tenders basket w/fries, and they are DELICIOUS by the way. Plenty of space, televisions, and beer ???? The service is very personable and attentive. When in Rome, Giggity's is definitely worth a visit!”

“The barbeque is superb, the smoked wings too. It is the best in Rome as far as I've found. The BBQ pork is not what makes or breaks a restaurant generally so I feel the need to discuss the sauces because it is a sauce that makes or breaks a BBQ restaurant. They have two sauces available that I saw, a sweet and a spicy. Both were good, I liked them best mixed together. The spicy has those vinegar notes that many people want in a sauce but not to the point of being too much. The spicy also was not what I would call hot but it was spiced. The sweet was somewhat thicker with the sweet flavor you would expect. The sauce is good enough to keep me coming back.”

“We went here for our wedding rehearsal dinner, about 20 people. The meal was excellent and very delicious, exactly as advertised. The bistro owner came out and gave the bride and groom-to-be a complimentary drink which was the cherry on top!”

“The food was very good and the service was prompt. They even numbered the cartons in the same order that told them. So they had all of the order correct and we did not have to find the correct sandwiches.”

“Great food, quick service. A little too quick with main meal coming out right after appetizer and soup arrived but quality of food and service outweighs that. Plus better too quick than too long.”

“Downtown for the Fiddlin Fest, so it was busy. Camey was our server and did a FANTASTIC job. This place was covered up and our service was top notch. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes from the appetizer menu. Food was hot, delicious and served rather quickly. Place was clean and everyone was moving quick to make it happen. Nice job!!”

“In town for a quick visit, I decided to wander down to the Between the Rivers historic district and see if I could find a decent place for lunch. I recognized the name of this establishment from a satellite location in a nearby town, but I don't have any personal familiarity with their menu or reputation. I chose the simplest of options: cheeseburger, fries, and beer. This is the basic meal by which you can probably reasonably critique the vast majority of diner-type joints anywhere you go. By my estimation, the food was exactly what I was hoping for: tasty, reasonably priced, and fairly quickly prepared and delivered. I was especially pleased with the thick-cut crinkle fries and the surprisingly inexpensive craft IPA from the local Rome City Brewing Co. I'd be willing to return and explore the menu further.”
