“Germaine’s is a fantastic place for a night Luau. The atmosphere is very traditional Hawaiian, laid back, and enjoyable. The packages (we have done all three with several guests on island) doesn’t make the experience any better/worse. The food is fantastic and the show is amazing. “I tried mild spicy garlic shrimps here and those were the most delicious shrimps me and my husband have ever had. We've had Giovanni's garlic shrimps the same day on our road trip and those were harder, not so juicy and not as delicious as Shrimp Shack's. Also, the ladies working here are super nice, there is no line and prices are lower. It's close to a shrimp farm so it's fresh and delicious. There are chairs and table on a beach across the street that you can sit on and inside seating area next to the truck. Definitely must try in Oahu.”

“Best service made the food stand out even more! The man taking our order (I assume he is the owner) was SO kind as we were deciding on what we wanted. He makes the bread in house for the sandwiches, and it is obvious because it's so fresh and delicious. I loved the large portion of green salad with poppyseed dressing for a side option, which kept the barbecue meal feeling light. The teriyaki beef bowl and brisket sandwich had the most tender meats and were very beautifully presented. A definite gem of a place!”

“This is a local business, which is cool. If you’re staying at Schofield Inn, it may make sense to order from them. The positive: low delivery charges compared to Bite Squad & Door Dash. Sometimes, quick. The less positive: once, delivery status to our home was not updated beyond that our order had been put in until the driver was literally almost here. Takes a while to get a driver for any order. Sometimes, mistakes with orders. No easy way to cancel an order. In short, consider other food delivery services in the area if you want the most consistent best service. But for budget purposes or to order from certain restaurants, or if you’re on base, risk Quick Cuisine.”

“I always get their fish tacos. These tacos have sashimi grade Marlin and comes with rice and beans on the side. The rice and beans alone are the best I've ever had and I'm not normally a fan of either. The food is to die for. This place also has outstanding customer service. This place is a real gem and I'm so glad I discovered it about a year ago. I have turned many people on to this place. I personally think this is the BEST Mexican restaurant on the island. If you haven't tried this place, don't hesitate to try it NOW!!”

“Javi's is the best Mexican food on the island BY FAR! Way better than the infamous Cholos... I had the Fajita Burrito with black beans and rice. The burrito itself was cooked to perfection and the meat was well seasoned. The bell peppers and mushrooms were also fresh and delicious. The black beans and rice were phenomenal! Best rice and beans I've had in years. I will definitely be returning!”

“Pizza was pretty good, I got the meatball and ricotta. It was the last slice in the evening and they didn't reheat it all the way, I should have told them but I was really hungry. Slices are about $8 but you get like a 1/4 pie. I would rather pay $4 for a smaller slice so I can try the other toppings, they have some really delicious looking combos too. The sandwiches are a bit more than I would like to spend too so I might wait until I can bring a friend along to split. The staff is great and the place was pretty clean. I am sure parking can be a nightmare here too, depending on when you arrive.”

“I was so excited to try some pizza. My sister and I went there earlier this year to New York and we have been craving pizza from New York ever since. We got there at about 9:30. They opened at 8am today. My sister and I figured that would have been enough time to get a few pizza's out and ready for pizza by the slice purchases. But we were sadly mistaken. We settled for a Chicago dip sandwich, which we assumed would be like any other dip sandwich.... but it came with no dip. Dont get me wrong, the sandwich was huge and more than enough to feed the both of us. The bread of the sandwich was superb! But we were disappointed that there was no pizza. Guess we just got to visit later in the day next time.”

“wow. great place to eat at because of their breakfast special! $1.75 with a selection of luncheon meat, Portugese sausage, spam, ham, polish; the shock and awe. Also a variety of other dishes at the display window you can add to your breakfast. CASH ONLY. Sodas for $1.00. You can see them cook your food too if you pay attention. They have shoyu, red sauce(watered down), and other condiments for use. No bathroom, parking on the street only. Open from Monday to Friday 5:00am to 2pm. Weekends and Holidays 6am to 2pm. Edit: breakfast price range has increased from $1.75 to $2.00.”

“When we stopped at the Wahiawa Panda Express tonight it was really packed both inside and at the drive-through window. I guess a lot of people celebrated Valentine's Day with Panda Express food. Haha. My husband and I had to drop folks off at the airport tonight and we never celebrate the holiday on the day of because every place that serves food is normally super busy. Despite that, the food tonight was excellent. I ordered orange chicken, beef broccoli, and Beijing beef. My husband ordered beef with green beans and honey walnut shrimp. The food must have just been made because the orange chicken and Beijing beef were crispy on the outside rather than soggy. I would have given them 5 stars except they ran out of brown rice and the steamed veggies had to be made and I waited for the new batch to come out since there wasn't enough for the two plates I ordered. That aside the food was good. We love Panda Express and will probably eat here for the rest of our lives because of that.”
