“Like Mama’s home cooked food. Delicious and comfort. This is my go to every chance I get. I’ve been coming here for 10 years and still love the food and staff.”

Keystone Pizza

Address: 207 S 9th Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Restaurant

“Came in for the first time to get some food before looking at the Christmas lights at Indian creek. The service was quick and friendly. The food reminded me a lot of Idaho pizza but less acidic, I honestly preferred it over Idaho pizza. The cheesy bread stick were great! We also ordered a combo pizza and a pepperoni pizza and both were good. My niece won a stuffed animal from the claw machine and loved the experience.”

Flying M Coffeeshop

Address: 724 Arthur St, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Cafe Bakery Restaurant

“Very cute coffee shop! Ordered a vanilla latte and it was fantastic. Great little grab and go options and a huge gift section with unique and super cute items for everyone, kids etc… Lots of seating options and cozy feel.”

Shi Sushi and spirits

Address: 521 Main St, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Restaurant

“Food was excellent! We enjoyed the vegetable tempera as an appetizer, which tasted wonderful. The firecracker sushi roll was delicious, this coming from a person with a very limited seafood liking and the veggie sushi roll was amazing with so much flavor. The customer service was good, but wasn't great due to the host forgetting us after clearing a table for us. I wasn't impressed with the waitress that washed a tabletop but never moved the happy hour menu or candle to wipe the table fully. This concerned me, but not enough to disgust me, just made me glad I was not sat in her section. Our waitress, was great at ensuring we had everything we needed and followed up on the service, but not over bearing with interruptions. The atmosphere was great, as we could have a conversation without straining to hear each other and we couldn't really over hear other customers conversations. All in all, we had an excellent date night diner.”

Pantera Market

Address: 2502 E Linden St, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“We went to take our daughter (who is home from the Navy and missing good Mexican food) out for dinner because she was craving a really good Torta. 3 of us got tortas, 2 got Sopes, and I got a Carnitas Quesadilla made with a corn tortilla (which looked like a plate-sized taco). All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and I am not exaggerating when I say that it was one of the best quesadillas I have ever had. The flavor was amazing and the customer service was genuinely attentive. Every time we come here to eat, the food is always amazing.”

chop shop

Address: 716 Arthur St, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Restaurant

“I’m not a huge BBQ guy but this place is awesome! The flavors weren’t overwhelming of BBQ sauce. The flavors of my wife’s Shop Burrito were amazing. So much going on but all the flavors paired amazingly. My Brisket Sandwich and Candied Sweet Potatoes were on point with taste! Portions are spot on although if you’re not a big eater make sure to share the Shop Burrito, it’s huge! We will definitely be back and could even call this one of our favorite places to eat. Our service was awesome and Alissa was very sweet and attentive, keep up the great job Alissa. Thank you all for a great dining experience.”

Grit 2C

Address: 212 S Kimball Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Restaurant

“This place is so good. Even though it's quite the drive for me from Boise, it's one of my go-to's for delicious brunch and I always recommend it to my friends and family. All their menu items are very thoughtfully crafted. There really is something for everyone here! My favorite dish is the Spicy Thai Rice Bowl (thai sauce, white rice, radishes, carrots, daikon, crispy jalapenos, fresh cilantro, avocado, mint, cashews, lime) with chicken. There's a lot going on here, and everything mixes so well together. Each bite is a new experience! The crispy jalapenos are my favorite part. I don't find them very spicy, however I have a very high tolerance for spicy food. Another dish I frequently order is the Farro Salad. Not only does it taste amazing, but it's very unique. Again, there's a lot of ingredients that all go together deliciously. The farro is always cooked perfectly, and I love the addition of pomegranates. The kitchen is very accommodating in that you can easily substitute ingredients - I hate blue cheese, which is usually on this salad but I always sub feta. The balsamic vinaigrette is heavenly. As great as these dishes are, if you're dining for the first time I can't recommend the Bacon Jam Grilled Cheese enough! Someone in my group always gets this. It's delicious x 100. I highly recommend splurging an extra $2.00 for bacon or ham. Honorable mentions: The Chicken Alfredo is *chef's kiss*. The Grit Dip and Fried Chicken are also wonderful!”

Siri's Me Kwam Sook

Address: 1001 Blaine St, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Restaurant

“Tried for the first time today after much anticipation and we were not let down. My husband and I tried the crispy pork pad Krakow, beef teriyaki stir fry, egg rolls, and tom yum soup and everything was very flavorful and the presentation was great! We especially enjoyed the egg rolls and accompanying sauce. The portion sizes were very generous as well, leaving us with plenty of leftovers for another meal. We are looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu!”

Gaucho's Food Truck

Address: 1005 Blaine St #83605, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

“Wow so good. Everything here is the absolute best. Today we had the Steak and Bacon sandwich with fries, the sausage sandwich the fried steak sandwich with cheese. It is a taste of Argentina. So so good. Worth the drive from Boise to historic Caldwell along side the Indian Creek.”

Domino's Pizza

Address: 1123 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Meal delivery Meal takeaway Restaurant

“The service was not very well and the kid didn't want to help with a carry out order. He complained he wasn't paid enough to assist in that situation. The pizza was warm and fresh but very greasy even with little amount of cheese on it. Not sure what made it so greasy.”

Los Beto's Mexican Food

Address: 1003 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Restaurant

“I got a bacon breakfast burrito. It was delicious. Other places in town put giant cut up potatoes in it, barely any eggs and it over takes the bacon...gross. This burrito was had just the right amount of everything in a delicious flour tortilla. Yum”

Jack's Drive In

Address: 1124 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Restaurant

“First time trying Jack’s having driven by several times. We went on Friday and it was a busy time, but we got good service as they were busy. Had to place an order inside . The menu offered good selection of burgers and chicken sandwiches. We got 2 of the bacon cheeseburger meal. Had Jack sauce on both hamburgers, and the sauce was runny. The cheeseburger was cooked fresh per order but the quality of the burger could be better. Fries were good. With just 2 meals ended up paying almost $30 with large drinks and large fries for the larger option upgrade. We will return though to try the shakes and another meal for sure. Love the small hamburger joints including Jacks”

Purple Sage Golf Course

Address: 15192 Purple Sage Rd, Caldwell, ID 83607, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Purple Sage was in nice shape when I played. This course is flat and easy to walk. The price was great as well. One of the most interesting things about this course was its overall layout. It felt like they built 18 holes on a 36 hole piece of land. The trees on the edges of the fairways didn't connect to another hole, but rather an empty rough area about the width of another fairway. This would be a great place for players who slice or hook the ball to not worry about hitting/injuring another player.”

Janitzio Mexican Cuisine Restaurant

Restaurant

“Enjoyed our meal & thankful for young man waiting on us that helped us w/our choices. Very friendly, patient & helpful! Of several times we've been there, food was always de-lish & we love that it's a family-owned place to eat. We'll be back. 🙂”

Hamburger Connection

Address: 423 S 10th Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“You will never go to Hamburger Connection and not get a great meal. Their burgers are tried and true and their ice cream is awesome. Try the Jumbo Burger and a scotch and soda soft drink. Their super sauce is also super! Always nice girls and good service. I'm a local and we eat here at least once a week. Also a fun stop for a milkshake date. Definitely highly recommended!”

Gem In & Out

Address: 322 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Restaurant

“Went this afternoon for the first time even though it does not have the most appetizing look in this picture the chicken burger and curly fries were awesome. It’s obviously and old school burger joint, and definitely still have their old school style of making burgers that still give it a good taste. Today this combo was on special for $9.00 when normally this meal goes for $11.50. Curly fries aren’t extra nor is the drink as it comes in a meal. Don’t take this places looks for-granted as it looks like they do have a lot to offer.”

Mi Pueblito Mexican Cafe

Address: 2621 S 10th Ave suite 104, Caldwell, ID 83605, USA

Restaurant

“Food is and always has been great, great service and atmosphere. My only complaint would be that some of the entrees have recently been shrinking in size. Maybe it is to maintain a price point or keep food costs down but it is disappointing to me. I would rather pay more and keep things the way they were.”

Ste. Chapelle Winery & Tasting Room

Address: 19348 Lowell Rd, Caldwell, ID 83607, USA

Restaurant

“Tried this winery for the first time yesterday. It’s been in the 90s-100+ this week, so I opted for the aromatic white wine flight— it did not disappoint! Each wine was refreshing and flavorful. The charcuterie board was beautiful and tasty. The staff offered my two year old son a snack and juice box for free. They were so kind and we really enjoyed conversation with them. Beautiful views as well! We will definitely be back.”

The Orchard House Restaurant

Address: 14949 Sunny Slope Rd, Caldwell, ID 83607, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“On recommendation of a friend in Tahoe we stopped by for breakfast on the way through the area and we're so impressed with this easy to miss gem. Possibly the best breakfast ever, definitely the best raspberry marzipan scone in the world. Bought a Marion Berry pie which we'll share later, but it is a thing of beauty. Delightful friendly service, clean and charming place not to be missed.”

Peaceful Belly

Address: 20023 Hoskins Rd, Caldwell, ID 83607, USA

Restaurant

“Peaceful Belly isn’t just a place to go eat – it’s a whole farm to fork experience! And a memorable one, too. Located in the beautiful Sunnyslope Wine Trail of Idaho, Peaceful Belly is the perfect stop after an afternoon of tastings. While it wasn’t busy when my husband and I arrived for our 2:30pm reservation, I would still recommend making reservations which can be done through their website or through OpenTable. We began our visit with flights of their highly-acclaimed Stack Rock Cider (choice of 4 drinks, $8.00/flight). Our server was kind enough to throw in another 2 so we could test the entire menu. Both of us agreed the best one is the Skinny Dippin’. It’s the perfect blend of sweet basil and tart lemon – we couldn’t leave without bringing home a bottle! If you’re not a cider fan, they do offer wine from the surrounding wineries. We were informed the menu changes weekly and follows the seasons. There’s lots of vegetarian options, but also some meat dishes. It’s obvious that a lot of thought goes into each dish as they’re all very unique. I chose the Eggplant Parmesan Flatbread (house made flatbread, breaded eggplant, basil, Parmesan, mozzarella, house made tomato sauce, $17.00) and it was absolutely exquisite! The roasted tomato was deliciously sweet and reminded me of peaches, I think? The tomato sauce was wonderfully seasoned and burst with flavor, better than anything you can buy at the store. My husband ordered Ratatouille (cherry tomatoes, zucchini served on “socca” (garbanzo bean) pancakes with eggplant spread and fresh herbs). He loved the fresh dill on top of the perfectly cooked vegetables, which paired amazingly with the cakes. This dish had great flavor and was cooked to perfection as well. We couldn’t leave without trying the Peach Pie, which is literally a mini pie filled with sweet peaches in the most delicious crust I’d ever eaten topped with Madagascar Bourbon vanilla (IYKYK) whipped cream ($12.00). It was SO good. To top off our wonderful time, we bought a vase and for $12.00 we were able to create a beautiful bouquets. I had a blast choosing from so many flowers! I’m really looking forward to my next visit to Peaceful Belly. This is an absolute GEM. It’s worth the drive, it’s worth all your time. Don’t sleep on it!”
