I have also had the vegetarian burger which was excellent! They have several vegetarian options on the menu. They do have a drive through option if you are short on time. “The owner was working as I’m sure she always is. She’s spunky and sweet and has an energy that I’d love to eat breakfast around every morning. They have a pastry of the day and I mentioned that I’d never had a French Cruller before and she sent me away with one for free. This place is worth waking up early for or driving a little bit extra out of the way for a little lunch. Fresh food, fresh faces. I can’t wait to go try more!”

“Satay has always been an amazing place for us! Unfortunately for the first time in years we had a bad experience with one of the waitresses "Penny"! She had a horrible snappy attitude and made a wonderful night turn disappointing! What was supposed to be a memorable experience she made it disappointing! We did tip her well but her attitude didn't deserve it! The smoke chicken was supposed to be a great experience, the people next to us had the full experience! I wish we had that waitress! We have always experienced great service and food all the other waitress have been amazing, except for Penny! You should lighten up Penny ! We still love Satay! ❤️”

“The BBQ tri tip is smoky and tender. Great bark on the outside with perfectly rendered fat. (I asked for it). The 1/2 lb in the box felt heavy! “Ee don't even know what to say. We were slightly skeptical of getting sushi at a food truck. The reviews spoke for themselves and we really did want to try it. We got there and they were a bit backed up. They squeezed us in after hearing we were from Pendleton and wanted to try them. God bless them for it. We took their recommendation of a roll not even on the menu yet and a spicy tuna roll. The one not on the menu needs to be shared with the world, it's incredible. This was hands down THE best sushi we've ever encountered. Flavors, textures, and combinations were spot on. If we ever come back to CDA we're coming back..... in fact we may just make the 4 hour drive for a sushi date night at Raw Dead Fish!!!”

“DO NOT judge this restaurant by the exterior (or do..... we can keep it for us locals). Wow! Just WOW! Relic Smokehouse is fall off your stool unbelievably great food. My husband ordered the brisket, i ordered ribs and brisket and (creatures of habit we are) we both ordered the mac & cheese and beans for sides. The food was out of this world outstanding. It comes with 3 different sauces: regular bbq (good), hot bbq (amazing!!) And hot mustard (outstanding). Loved that the meat came "dry" so you could add your sauce of choice - problem is we loved them all. The meat was literally melt in your mouth tender, and the flavor was outstanding. The mac & cheese should be its own food group - its THAT good. It's houses in a historic building with an unassuming front. It is our new favorite regular spot.”

“Okay, so the only reason I gave this place 3 stars for food is, being a native Southern Californian, I'm used to Mexican food with a *serious* amount of flavor. And this place does a decent job in that respect. Better than 90% of the Mexican places in the inland PNW where people seem to be afraid of chili's or other spicy ingredients. So I would really call this type of food "Latin American INSPIRED" food. But their meats are acceptable as a substitute for something simmered for a couple days by someone's abuelo who grew up in Guadalajara or Cuidad Juarez. More of a "we waved some chili's at the food to inspire it" kinda "Mexican food" that the...sensitive pallets of North Idaho can handle. Their salsa is pretty good, though, I will give them that, even if it is missing that "holy Mother Mary, that's going to be uncomfortable coming out" heat I miss so much. Service is reliably good, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will say it's always cold inside the very small dining room. Like "don't forget your jacket or sweatshirt" cold. Maybe it's my missing thyroid and that I'm sensitive to temperature changes now, but I'm always very chilly inside. I'd recommend them for their Buritto Supremo, my family all like their tacos, and we haven't had any complaints for the quality of the meals we get. If you live up here, and need a decent, affordable, and enjoyable hit of Mexican food, hit this place up, definitely! Parking can be a little tricky, and the one way roads make approach kinda troublesome, but if you coke in from the resort area of CdA, you'll be fine.”

“I went there yesterday and had my partner and newborn in the car while I ordered, the middle aged woman at the counter was so friendly and kind taking my order. I told her I’d sit in my car while it was being cooked, when it was ready she walked it right to our car because we were too busy with the fussy baby! I can’t tell you how sweet that gesture was when we were already having a busy hectic day and trying to get a nice quick meal. I will absolutely be coming back here for any pizza! I will say that, as a large man with an appetite, the Barbarian was plenty for me. After all, you can fill your up to four inches beyond the rim of your bowl! I would not have needed or enjoyed eating more. I like the food posters on the wall, so I took pictures. “I'll be honest, I normally do not patronize Starbucks because I object to the leftist political stances of the corporation, however recently I purchased a couple lattes from this particular store which was conveniently located right around the corner from another business I was visiting. I was pleasantly surprised at the unusually cheerful and engaging manner of the attendants. They all seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves and went out of their way to greet and engage me with conversation, which I appreciate. The whole culture of this Starbucks is unlike any I have ever visited, so I give credit where credit is due. So I recommend that you check out this particular Starbucks, because you will be treated as valued and appreciated customer. You will no doubt leave with a smile on your face.”
