“Been wanting to try this place for a while, I was actually skeptical of the place because being Filipino, I typically have reservations with restaurants that have Filipino "inspired" or fusion cuisine, but I was honestly impressed. It was definitely a delicious balance between unique and authentic. Everything we ordered was delicious, would have love to come back for dinner but brunch was a lot of food. Will definitely come back sooner rather than later. Service was great too, our server Elinore was incredibly accommodating, she had a great personality and even gave me a complimentary drink, since I spilled mine trying to swat a bee 😂. The atmosphere is inviting and has a fresh design language that I really enjoyed. I recommend this place, probably top 3 places to eat in Wheaton.”

“This place is relatively new. Service was okay, they could have been more attentive. I would have ordered plates vs cutting boards. The chips were crispy and had good flavor. Not too salty. They seemed a little stingy with the cups for sauce. The horchata drinks were good. Now for the tacos. The quesibirria was my favorite. I really enjoyed the flavor. Tilapia was okay, i didn’t really taste much of the tilapia. It could use more seasoning to enhance the flavor. Steak was a little too greasy, it was very messy to eat. Make sure you eat it over the table. Chicken tinga was my second favorite. Chicken wasn’t dry, i would order that again. Al pastor was okay. I normally love al pastor tacos but here it was only okay. It wasn’t memorable. Overall, the place is decent but I would prefer Crazy Tortas in Lisle. They have more variety in the salsa bar and you can use as much sauce as you like. Also, the tacos are better.”

“Decided to support this local small business on a Friday evening. It is a small restaurant with some available outdoor seating. The food was amazing, from the chips and salsa to our entrees. Everything was well portioned and great authentic flavors. If you plan to dine in I would say no group larger than 6 which hopefully with time they will grow into a larger space. Service was excellent with average timing for food. If it is busy it may take longer but worth the wait. Atmosphere is pleasant. The only con was no fountain drinks so if you order a soda you have only cans/bottles qmeaning no refills but small con compared to the amazing food. I didn’t get pictures of all of my family’s dishes but we also tried the torta cubano 🤌🏼, tampiquena, and a quesadilla which were all great and well portioned photos were quesabrilla with consome and taco dinner. Some plates do not come with sides so keep that in mind and give them a try! We will be back.”

“A cute little place in downtown Glen Ellyn. They have delicious freshly squeezed juice. Their menu options for toasts are intriguing! I tried one of the toasts with pickled carrots, so good! The only thing I'd work on is the bar's food containers. My toast was served in a Styrofoam container, I'd rather see it in a more ecofriendly container. Still, I highly recommend!”

“This is a recently opened restaurant (October 2023) and we are very glad we gave it a try. The food was fantastic -- all three of us were delighted with our meals. We went there for breakfast early on a Sunday morning. The menu has a good variety of familiar dishes as well as unique recipes. I had a California omelet that was unique in that it had brussels sprouts. It was delicious. My wife had a waffle with fruit and ricotta, and she loved it. Our friend had eggs Benedict. Portions are generous. Service was friendly and attentive. The breakfast potatoes are delicious -- I could make a meal out of them alone. This is not a breakfast diner nor greasy spoon sort of restaurant; the food is elevated and gourmet and has pricing to match (it's not inexpensive). But, for the price, they delivered and I'll definitely be back.”

“Had a wonderful time at the renewed Galewood Pub! Great beer selection, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the cheese curds and mini sliders for an app… both were in point! For dinner we had the crispy chicken sandwich and the Mac and Cheese w a side salad. It was so good, we had nothing left on the plate to rave about! High five to the new owners! You can tell Jeff and Sarah put their heart into this place. We will definitely be back!”

“Clean environment. Lane machine had a few hiccups but I was able to correct the scoring. It was my, 3yrs old daughter's first experience at the Bowling Alley and she loved it. We used the toddler ramp to launch the ball. After our game we played in the arcade. We asked for a printout of our game because the screen goes straight into asking for the next game to start. The review is asking me to rate if I have been there for breakfast lunch or dinner, if I have dine in or had takeout, if I ate this or that. I have tried to try almost everything on the menu and everything is so good all the time I’ve eaten here for breakfast lunch and dinner, dine in and take out. Even the leftovers taste so good for days after. It’s actually one of the only place is me and my family eat when we eat out because it’s like real fresh food. I wouldn’t say authentic Mexican but it is definitely better than chipotle. And if you know what authentic Mexican is then they have the ingredients to make it authentic because I always do. If you love chipotle you’ll love this place.”
