I was a little scared buying and eating raw sushi grade fish own vs buying sashimis at fancy restaurants but I talked to Ryan behind the counter and he told me exactly what to do and to not be afraid. “Firehouse is reopened, and my excitement was enormous. Since it close, I compared every sub place in Springfield to Firehouse, and only Penn Station came close. So how is the new managment? I ordered a sub online today for pickup, and my order was very wrong. Ends up the online ordering sometimes does not allow you to customize your sandwich. The new management worked quite hard to either get me a refund or get me a new sandwich at no extra cost, even though my order had extras that did increase the cost. Great customer service and a great way to foster loyalty. I am giving the cook line a pass. They are kind of slow and getting your order taken can take a bit longer, but these are brand new employees getting on the job training. As far as the sandwiches themselves, just as good as they used to be. 10/10. 5 Stars. 98/100 (They did not have the Vanilla flavoring for the Root Beer, so -2 points)”

“Had a late lunch there yesterday, and was waiting for two others. When they arrived, we were seated within 5 minutes. A server was running around, and he was the only server there. When he finally got to our table, he was extremely apologetic; he said he was the manager, the bartender, the server and even though there was a cook in the back, he was sometimes a cook too. Took our orders and we had our meal within 15 minutes. It wasn’t crowded, but with only one server, he was busy. I give him much credit; had a smile on his face and made us feel welcome. He again thanked us for our patience a few times. And the food was excellent too! Wish I’d gotten his name.”

“I don’t go to Starbucks but my granddaughter loves it. Took her there Saturday morning so she could start with food in her belly since she didn’t eat before I picked her up. The drink order was incorrect so they said they couldn’t take it back but made the correct one. This morning I was checking my bank account when I noticed they charged me but then the money was put back in my account. I called my bank first to make sure I was looking at it right and I was so I called them so I could pay for it and they refused to let me pay. They let me keep the drink but I felt I should have paid for what we received. It took less than 5 minutes from order to getting the correct drink so it wasn’t a long wait time. I just feel like I should pay for what we received. I spoke to the manager and she said to pay it forward which I have no problem doing so. Really nice people working there, I wouldn’t have expected my money return though. It’s a great place and will go there again but, if my drink is ever wrong again, I will make sure I pay. 😂”

“Had visited this new location earlier with a friend. Such a pleasant experience and we visited over coffee. So relaxing and exciting to have this new business. Today a different experience when with husband. Music was much too loud to have a conversation. Earlier visit was nice background entertainment. Today was just loud. “We had the loaded baked potatoes and OMG they are delicious! Potatoes were fluffy & perfectly cooked - and loaded is right! I had shrimp, chicken & beef. Toppings were very generous. They cook/assemble everything fresh & it's a tiny place so be prepared to wait a minute if you just roll on up. The wait is worth it though - go now!”
