“Every place you rent isn't perfect. But the rooms should be good and clean. The person that works there does her job. But if you plan on staying at least a week. Please request maid service. The rooms need to be cleaned. But leave your personal stuff off the beds. The housekeeper can make your bed. They are not allowed to move it. Leave it out of the way so they can sweep around it too. And tips would be great. It's optional. But when I worked there, might go back, I loved to see tips. It made me smile cause the room was clean and if you stayed more the 3 days and took care of you. “I love a good "have a seat anywhere" local restaurant. We heard great thing and had to try out the new Royal Cafe. We got various different dishes, some breakfast and some lunch. Our waitress was wonderful and took great care of us, anticipated our needs before we knew them. The chocolate chip pancakes were full of chocolate!! And they had a real syrup dispenser. Two others got biscuits and gravy and said it was perfect, the eggs were bland though and undercooked. But the omelette was very, very good. The corned beef hash was good, much like anywhere else. The turkey but was great, but huge. The burger patty was definitely frozen but it was good, all around a good burger. Their coffee was perfect, the had real sugar cane sugar packets and French vanilla creamer, as well as half and half.”

We just discovered it and from the absolutely outstanding food, the kindness of the owners (wife is the chef...and a really good one!) my wife and I just can't say enough. Service outstanding. Yes, it is small. Yes it is in the little town of Clermont, IN, but the flavor in the food and the experience was top notch. We ordered the Spring Rolls....flavorful, fresh and the accompanying sauce was spectacular. You can taste fresh ingredients and the unique dipping sauce had to be a special recipe. My wife ordered the Mixed Vegetables with Tofu and I ordered the Drunken Noodles with Chicken. We like HOT...not Thai Hot...but HOT and it was PERFECT! Just the amount of "hot" that we like to accompany outstanding fresh food prepared perfectly. The rice that came with my wife's Mixed Vegetables was a delicate white rice that is like none we have ever had (yes, I was able to take a little of it!). She said her dish contained wonderful FRESH vegetables prepared in a very light, but tasty, sauce. My Drunken Noodles were out of this world. Like my wife's dish, the vegetables were as fresh as could be and the chicken cooked perfectly. The wide noodles were in a delicious sauce that was a wonderful blend of flavors. Then, something we had not had before....the Fried Banana for dessert......Oh, my! The taste was just sweet enough, not too sweet, and the banana wrapped like the Spring Rolls and deep fried, drizzled with some almost honey-like sweetness. The service was amazing, the owners smiled and were thankful for our business and...YES, YES, YES!! We will be back. They have the best yellow BBQ sauce I’ve ever tried. The ribs had a great flavor and were smoked just right, the brisket was on point! (bbq joke) It was very flavorful and smoked perfectly, neither meat was dry as you often find in other bbq joints. The green beans had a nice smoky flavor to them. Overall, I highly recommend and I look forward to returning!”

“The prices just aren't there. You pay about $8 per gourmet wien, and it's a good wien, but I'm gonna need at least 2 to feel satisfied. Fries are on the small side and another 5 and drink will be another 2-3, so you're quickly hitting $20-$25 just for an average guy to not leave hungry. There was a little discount for the combo, but I don't know what that was. But at $8 it needs to come with some chips and a small drink or something and it'd be a different story. I just think of all the meals i could have for $25 a person or even $15 and as good as that wien was, it isn't where I'd choose. It's a good snack/lunch at the fair, but I'd pick a different place to have a dinner.”

“This was formerly Avers and I'd argue the menu has improved significantly. Good selection of local beers on tap and a good selection of canned/bottled from elsewhere. I've had the pizza 🍕 every time I've come here and really enjoyed it. Some very solid flavor combinations, pizza comes out hot and fresh. The pepperoni rolls are great, and I an looking forward to trying a few more menu items. Hasn't been particularly crowded so its been a good place to have a beer or grab some food and watch a game on the big TVs without a huge crowd. Servers and staff have been very good, the manager on site has been awesome when he has waited on us.”
