“Cons: I was slightly disappointed by my build-your-own shipwreck. They added the wrong cheese and wrong type of potatoes (shredded vs cubed) and I felt the portion size was too small for the $12-$14 price tag. Only other thing I wish they’d review or reconsider is their children’s menu. $6 for one pancake vs $8 for an entire meal. $3 feels like a more reasonable price tag for 1 kids pancake since usually the portion sizes are smaller for kids. Pros: Aside from that everything was great! Including the atmosphere and staff. My coffee was smooth and delicious and I was so happy to have a large cup of it. My sons pancake meal (not a kids meal) had blue berries and chocolate chips. The blue berries tasted fresh and didn’t feel frozen. The pancakes had an almost cake taste to them, maybe vanilla, sweet and delicious even without syrup. We’ll definitely be back and would absolutely recommend this place for breakfast.”

“Located within NewBo Market, they are offering some chicago classics. Chicago Dogs, Italian Beef, Combo Beef sandwiches, pasta salad etc. Had the combo beef sandwich on saturday, it was excellent! Definitely worth a stop if you're craving a taste of chicago.”

“I got the steak and cheese with a side of mac and cheese and a strawberry smoothie. The food was super good and the service was really good too. I think I paid a little over $18. I asked for it to be put in a to go box in case I couldn't finish it and ended up eating all of it before leaving because of how good it was. I am for sure coming back here again! “I feel bad for anyone whose running a BBQ joint in Cedar Rapids, for this place is about to take over the entire city. I keep a vegan/vegetarian diet but my sister kept insisting me try their brisket. My God, was it good. Don't take my word for it, look up this place's name on Google and every single BBQ related magazine in the area has given it 5 stars. Well worth the trip but get there early because he runs out of brisket and pulled pork really quick.”

“I attended a murder mystery dinner at the Keto Way with my wife. The activity, rather than eating Keto food was the draw for me. I chose the mozzarella sticks as an apprletizer. They were excellent, without being overly salty/fried. They seemed to simply be breaded. The pot pie dinner was great (homemade) - a bit of a different take on pot pie, leaving out the peas. For dessert, I had the blueberry cheesecake which again wasn't overly sweet but flavorful. Overall it t was all solid and provided a great to alternative eating experience from the rest of Uptown. This was our first murder mystery dinner anywhere. We worked through it with one other couple. There was no role playing was involved. It's one of those kits you may have seen advertised on Facebook for a date night. The owner did a great job of providing instructions and making the experience easy to catch onto, providing some hints that helped but didn't give away the answers. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Keto Way and expect to be back to try some of the other food.”

“The food is amazing. I’m working my way down the menu. Have had the Footlong Breakfast Burrito, the Chicken Fried Steak, Avocado Toast and the Bacon Flight. Also tried the Morning Story Cocktail. All delicious. The food has a very fresh taste and the flavors work together really well. The owner is super nice and checked in on us and also helped served the order. The restaurant is new and still has some growing pains. Things like table cleaning, seating guests and getting extras for an order like an additional biscuit did prove to be wanting. But was quickly rectified when addressed. Overall you will not be disappointed and is a MUST TRY. We have decided this will be our go to Sunday breakfast place going forward. See you there!”

“Chophouse Downtown did not disappoint! The food was amazing and full of flavor! My steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were a perfect pair. Having a bread bowl available for the soup was a nice touch compared to most places who just have regular bowls. Jon provided great service and the owners were so nice and personable.
