“We had very friendly staff who were very fast and sweet. The food came out not long after we ordered, and man the presentation and taste? Top notch! Easily one of my favorite places to eat here now! I do not know how more people were not here when I visited! Very high quality food and good size! Definitely a hidden gem in Lawrence. “The place is clean and the staff is quite friendly. This was a pleasant experience, and the variety of cookies was adequate. I am the human version of Cookie Monster, and I absolutely love cookies, and if you know me... you know this! Dirty Dough was suggested by a dear companion who is well aware of my cookie affection. We selected the half dirty dozen so we could try a variety of the current offerings. First up is the Chocolate chip which is my standard "go-to" and this was perhaps our least favorite of the batch. The flavor was somewhat floury tasting, however being fresh they were warm, soft and nicely gooey. Our favorite was the orange cream and something of a pleasant surprise for a cookie. Overall I feel we didn't receive the best value for "gourmet cookies" but we didn't feel completely cheated either.”

“In town from KY, this place was suggested. The owner is the man behind the smokers. The service was fast & friendly. The food was AmAzInG. We had ribs, brisket, pork, pork enrolls, Mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, beans, slaw. It was all top notch. My wife said she’d come back for the sides alone! They make their own sauces too! “For a restaurant inside of a hotel the food is surprisingly really good. The staff was very nice and super accommodating, the food was hot and had some of the best fried green beans I've ever had in my life! I actually got the turkey bacon club two days in a row because it was so good and my mom and niece love the wings! I would have given a five star but they're not open very late. Restaurant is only open until 9:00 and the bar is only open until 10:00. So we had checked in late we had to hurry up and Order which the waitress was super kind to rush us through so we would not miss the kitchen! But it's delicious restaurant in a nice hotel.”

“Rusty Taco has a look that is part sports bar, part Chipotle and part Chicken & Pickle. The intent is to be a place to go hang out with fiends, eat, drink and have fun. Sounds like a winner. The menu is well organized and easy to work with. The service is friendly and helpful. They take your order, give you a number to put on your table and they bring your food to you. For us, the food was surprisingly slow. I was compelled to check if they lost our order. The food appearance is underwhelming. It is frankly sloppy for a restaurant. Fortunately the food all tastes good and that is the main thing about restaurant food. So if you are looking for a place to hang out with friends and get food and drink at a leisurely pace, this is a good choice. If you need to eat quickly or have an impressive looking meal, go somewhere else.”

“We were so excited to try out this new Mexican restaurant that just opened. We walked in and it is so nicely decorated! We were greeted and had water, chips, salsa and cheese brought out to us pretty fast. We were thrilled to see that the cheese was free! We arrived just in time for my husband to enjoy a 99 cent margarita which was pretty big and tasty for under a dollar! Our food arrived fast and was delicious! Our server checked on us often and made sure our waters were always full! We enjoyed our meal and can't wait to try other items.”

“Tried a slice of pepperoni. $5 for a slice, so it’s on the pricey side. It didn’t look very fresh when I bought it, but they warm it up in the oven quick to revive it. The pizza was pretty good. Dough had good texture, sauce was tangy & tasty, and the cheese was my favorite part. Wasn’t just plain ol’ motz, there was something special about it. Really there was nothing wrong with it, it’s pretty solid NYC style pizza. Their prices are high (especially for whole custom pies), which is why it gets only 4 stars.”

“I haven't actually had their wings yet only because I looked at the menu and couldn't pass up the idea of trying a crab rangoon grilled cheese. Ordered it with the tomato bisque and it was amazing. The wontons in it were a bit...odd at first, but the crunch was appreciated in the sandwich. I hope to go by another time soon and try a few more things on their menu. Update: Tried the crab Mac and cheese and the raspberry chipotle wings. Those both were very, very good.”
