“This place adds to the variety of cuisines on Cordell. I had the oxtail stew but I'll be trying their Cubano sandwich next time.”

“Very tasty food and excellent variety on the menu in terms of prices. One can easily get full here for less than 12$ At the same time the ambiance is great and the staff is on top of their game ????”

“Delicious espresso drinks and lots of good juices as well. Great atmosphere in a cozy spot. Also have oat milk available. Thankful I never have to go to Starbucks again.”

“Inconsistent service depending on time of day maybe. Sometimes it's good and sometimes customer service is less than desirable. One lady (though she was wearing a Dunkin donuts hat) was straight rude when I asked that my salad be chopped watching her throw a bunch of loose veggies in a bowl. I let her know that usually when I ask for a salad they just always come chopped without me asking she snapped back at me "if you don't ask for chopped you're not getting chopped!" before setting it aside while she took care of two other customers. It took me mentioning it to another guy, who then asked her about it before chopping it up himself for my salad to come. I literally had good and bad service within the same visit. So I rate this hit or miss based on my experience”

“Undiscovered gem!! Great coffee, the food I have tried so far has been delicious, I ordered a custom made carrot cake for Thanksgiving that got rave reviews from my family and the staff/ownership couldn't be nicer. Great addition to the neighborhood”

“This is an easy place to appreciate. The atmosphere is typical of a large chain restaurant and the servers are friendly. The menu is not very extensive, but what there is meets the tastes of most people, is always fresh, nicely presented, and tasty. Portions are appropriately sized for American diners. For lunch, I split a salad and a small pizza, and that is enough. Other favorites are grilled tuna salad, the fried chicken sandwich and the burgers are good, too. This is a a nice seating area that sits close to the sidewalk where the large windows are opened on nice days and a round bar area which is situated diagonally from the cross walks. This is a popular place for groups so it can get a bit loud at times. Overall, a good choice for casual lunch or dinner if you are in Bethesda. Glad to have a restaurant like this take over for the piss poor American Taproom that simply did not use the space correctly and had donks running the bar. I expect this location to have a good run like Mussel Bar next door and be around as long as Cafe Deluxe.”

“Food there is good and fresh. The staff is friendly and the place is nice. But the salad itemization is over priced. I ordered a salad with a few vegetables, and grilled chicken and a side of chips and paid almost $17. Too me this would only be appropriate for a sit down restaurants gourmet salad. I also found the pasta to be very small for the price as well. Sorry, but I won't be getting anything but the specials from now on.”

“The food is amazing! I highly recommend getting the Lamb Burger. It was very juicy and flavorful. Best lamb burger ever! They give a generous portion of fries, but you can also opt for a side salad instead. Oh yeah, if you have room for dessert, get the Chocolate Bread Pudding! Simply divine. Note that it takes 30 minutes to bake so order in advance!”

“Smallish selection due to the small store. Chaat plates look delicious and fairly priced. Produce selection is small but looked very fresh. Outstanding customer service which, sadly, has never been my experience before in Indian groceries. Please keep up the good work!”

“Super clean interior and a line out the door. They did a bang up job on the decoration and the plenty of outdoor seating will be a great addition to the neighborhood. They also serve beer! I always order the Mediterranean quinoa salad with steak.”

“I went here for the first time last week and I have to say I was disappointed. The description made me think of other fast casual bowl restaurants and I was hoping that any mix of ingredients would be tasty but that was not the case with the tuna and quinoa. Not sure if it was the pesto sauce or some other combination but you may want to stick to the recommended combinations.”

“This store is located in a very good place, but honestly the coffee is not all that! The pastries are better than anything in there. It's better to BYOC (bring your own coffee) ????????”

“Good food and I've always received a greeting upon entering the store. I get a sandwich at least one a week. The breakfast omelet s are good too.”

“Absolutely one of the best places to eat in Bethesda. I was here for a conference and ate at this establishment twice. Both times I was very pleased with the food and the ambiance. I felt like I was visiting a friend’s restaurant instead of a random place! The food was delicious and well seasoned. The drinks were unique and tasty. The manager/bartender is very nice and attentive!”

“This is great addition to downtown Bethesda. First impression is very very good. It is tastefully decorated. Food is great. We ordered from the lunch menu and a pork chop noodle soup. The pork chop is outstanding. Service is good. The menu has many authentic Chinese dishes and dim sum for weekends. We certainly will come back to try out other dishes. Parking: There aren’t too many parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Metered parking is available across the street. There is a Montgomery county parking garage nearby with very reasonable parking rates (free on weekends). It is Garage 57 - Bethesda - Elm Garage with entrances on Bethesda Avenue and Elm Street.”

“Delicious crispy soft tortilla shell. I got the trio combo. Indian, usa, England. All was good. Flavors are light. Not too strong. Ingredients taste fresh. Everything is made to order.”

“The food here is excellent! A real delight! The carne asada burrito is the best! It has just the right ratio of juicy to char..with a hint of zesty lime beneath. It is big enough to fill you up too. I hate going to the doctors all the time, but honestly if I get to treat myself to this flavor filled torpedo of deliciousness, I will gladly drive through crazy traffic and see a million doctors just to eat here!”

“Chips and salsa were good: salsa is fresh and chips didn't taste like they were out of a bag. Mole enchiladas were very good: more of a tomato-y mole as opposed to the darker brown ones I'm used to but good flavor. Black beans are good tasting as well as the rice, which wasn't too dry like some places. Solid Mexican food, definitely will go back.”

“I told the Manager to please bring Chopt to Frederick MD. The salads are delicious. All fresh ingredients is the key and you can watch your personalized salad being made. Can hardly wait to see for my next visit.”

“I always enjoy eating at Fish Taco. The signature fish taco is very tasty. The fish is battered and deep fried. If you get the taco platter it comes with either a salad or beans and rice. The beans and rice are very good, and remind me of Brazilian black beans and rice. The guacamole is VERY good here and extremely fresh. I highly recommend it.”

“We went here just for dessert and it was amazing! Homemade chocolate mousse, apple pie a la mode, and carrot cake, topped with fluffy, not-too-sweet homemade whipped cream. And the staff was funny and kind. Thank you for a great time. :) It was also quiet and peaceful on a Saturday around 3pm. Cozy environment with fun Italian music.”

“This was a recommendation by a friend for lunch. I had never been here before. It is cozy, the tables against the walls are very close, so if you are comfortable with others overhearing your conversations this will be fine for you. Apart from that I had the Apple Cranberry Chicken salad. It was perfect, not too much, not too little. The grilled chicken was tender and well seasoned. My friend had the Crab Tower which she has had before, and loves, and it did not disappoint this time again. To be honest I was sorry I did not get it. I would say this restaurant is great for lunch or a date night. Dress is casual. The service was excellent. Be prepared to circle the parking lot for a spot, but it will be worth it. I will return.”

“Food is good. We're ordered a bottle of wine and rather than receiving what we ordered we were told they had no more bottles of that type. Rather than bringing a comparably priced different wine, she brought one substantially more expensive. We had to query for a more reasonably priced bottle. I consider that poor service.”
