“Hot pot is a fun shared dining experience! We got the Mala broth, which is spicy, and lamb, shrimp, and the mushroom platter. The soup is piping hot and cooks the food. Lots of fresh vege's too. Yum!”

“They had really good fresh pizza. Be adventurous and try some of their more offbeat toppings - trust me, they're great. Lots of vegetarian options.”

“3rd time here. Service is great. Their home made fries are cut thin and seasoned just right. Hot, and crispy outside with soft center. Nice place for after work drinks.”

“Small little stand outside of Frank Pepe. The presentation was nice. They were well lit and labeled. Staff was very helpful and nice. It's pricey but worth it. These were a little bigger then other macarons. Definitely, delicious.”

“One of the best places for lunch in Newton. The quality and consistency is top notch. Gyros are the best you could not get anywhere . The staff is so friendly and this place is highly recommended to everyone.”

“Kind of cute retro vibe going on. The guy who runs it is great! You feel like you are in a truly mom and pop owned place. Truly local. I like supporting local business and usually go out of my way to find such places. It has a good number of options in the menu. I had a meat lovers and a calzone. the place is super affordable! I would give it another try. Maybe try a different pizza. I would be willing to pay more if the place started using better ingredients because the pizza and call zone were well made! Good crust and perfect thickness. Just the ingredients themselves didn't feel that fresh or tasty. Strongly recommended if dominoes is your other option.”

“Good food and excellent beers with a laid back pub atmosphere. The seating area is limited so call ahead for groups, but a fun place to hang out with friends. While I did not make my own beer, a friend did and enjoyed the experience.”

“The pizza was good - it was the service that was confusing! It might have been a couple of trainees but it wasn't just me, three other people at the pickup counter were having difficulties with their orders. But like I said - the pizza was good!”

“Very nice people. Very good food. Pleasant experience. I highly reccomend this restaurant. It's location is disastrous to look at but once inside, you're home”

“The laid-back sports bar atmosphere was chill. The service was quick and pleasant. Admittedly, I was a little disappointed with the bone-in wings. They're very good, but not amazing and not the best I've ever had, and I've had a lot of buffalo chicken wings. I would have liked to see more sauce, of which I asked for hot buffalo but there was little to no heat. I did love the fried pickles and they offer spears AND chips! All in all I would return to and recommend Buff's!”

“Ate a group dinner in their private room. First of all, the private room was great -- it was a nice size for our group and just the right amount of separation from the rest of the restaurant. Service was fantastic. The food (from a set menu) was fantastic. The management was super accommodating for us as well.”

“The oven roasted wings are amazing and the habanero sauce is that perfect sweet and hot. The pizza is well done and has a great crust and crunch. Not too doughy and the toppings are fresh. The Sunday crew behind the bar are amazing - new regular spot”

“What an awesome place! I had the Tuna tacos with a side of the Mexican street corn. The tuna in the tacos was soft and flavorful. Paired with the chili slaw, this is a must-try. The hard shell was thin and crispy, but not the type that falls apart in your hands while eating it. The Mexican street corn is pulled straight off the cob, meaning the kernels are firm and sweet. I’ll be coming back to see what other tasty offerings are on their menu!”

“I tried the fired chicken Soy ginger and spicy flavored wings. The soy ginger was salty but tolerable. The spicy was okay, but maybe very spicy for someone who is not used to spicy food. JUST BE AWARE that if you show up to the restaurant to get a takeout they will charge you firs before telling you that you need to wait 25 freaking minutes for a small box of wings. This to me sounds like a scam and it's not polite at all. Next time please tell how long it will take for my order before charging money.”

“I came in hungry for a good buffalo chicken salad. It was one of the best salads ever. The buffalo sauce was on point. Great service clean restaurant. First time here☺️”

“Hidden Gem alert! This place is great - very quaint, nestled on Moody Street near Queens Cleaners (a few places down). What makes this place really distinct is the Sushi Chef; he comes from one of the top sushi restaurants in the Copley area, and has the know how that you'll be able to see (and taste). I'll just ask him to put a plate together of what he thinks is best, and I've never been disappointed. Definitely a place for Sushi connoisseurs - but at a much more affordable level. Check it out!”

“Liked there steak tip portion but turkey tip portion much less. The rest of the meal was very good. Good service also.”
