“We stopped here after drinking right next door and wow, what a difference! This place is awesome! Food was excellent, reasonably priced and the beer was pretty good! The music was a little too loud for me because I couldn't hear the person in front of me. “The food is very good. The service is equally good. Easy to get to location on the edge of downtown. I like going Bangkok House for lunch. You get a good meal for a reasonable price. Almost immediately after, you are seated your server brings a bowl of soup for everyone. Not long after your server is back to take your order and then returns with your lunch shortly thereafter. The progression sounds hectic, but it really isn't. Everything flows.”

“I wanted my veggie burger. Since they said they make it your way, I thought I would try that. I asked for extra anything that does not make the price go up higher. So things like ketchup and mustard and pickles. They forgot the mustard. And they added extra lettuce and tomatoes for an extra $1. I know fast food employees don't consider this their dream job. But whatever job you happen to be doing, you should always strive to do it as best as you can. She didn't seem to care to listen to my food order. Oh, well. Won't be returning.”

“Love eating here - but so does everyone else! Be prepared to wait, both to get in and to get your food. This can be off-putting for some, as can the ambiance. The decor is... unique, the music is loud, the waitstaff dress in black and are heavily pierced and tattooed. BUT everyone is friendly and seems to be having fun no matter how crazy it is. “We went here for Sunday brunch on a sunny day and decided to sit outside. For drinks we started with Mimosas and Cajun lemonade. The mimosas were the best I've ever had and was refreshing. For food, we ordered a Breakfast bowl and a Trust me quiche with a Side of potato casserole and cheddar grits. I specially liked the casserole and the bowl. The service was friendly but a tad bit slow. But we weren't complaining about that since we very looking for a lazy brunch anyways. Overall, I would definitely come back and try their Lunch menu and their glorious mimosas.”

“This is my new favorite pub in Lansing. They have great beers! And Detroit Frankie's setup in the parking lot makes some of the best pizza around. As of December 2016 he's only there Wednesday through Saturday, so be aware if you're hungry. Edit: Sadly, Frankie has moved to a new location. I have seen a different wood-fired oven there but never had the food.”

“Such an authentic small town diner feel. It had me homesick for the town I grew up in. If you come here do yourself a favor and order something that comes with a side of Texas toast. Or even better just order several slices of Texas toast. The bread is so fluffy and good and toasted with butter it becomes pure magic. I got the light rye toast and had to get an extra order because I couldn't get enough of it. The rest of the food I ordered was good too, very classic diner fare.”
