“I love to stop here when I'm nearby. The bittersweet cookies are beyond delicious. Their coffee drinks have a more mild flavor, but the ingredients are high quality. The store has lots of tables and seating, though it's tight for standing space if you're opting for to-go. The staff are kind and quick.”

“Obsessed with this hidden gem! The variety of treats and chocolate is amazing and reasonably priced. The key lime was so tart. German chocolate cake was almost like a brownie texture which I liked. They have a cute little patio area to sit and hangout by the sidewalk/street. We can’t wait to come and get dips and desserts for our future gatherings.”

“Good place but seemed a bit over-priced to me. There was even a 3% “usage charge” - maybe that’s normal in Minne? I’ve never seen a muffin so loaded with seeds - it was good.”

“A lovely cafe opposite across the street from Our Kitchen for those who don't want to deal with their obscene wait times. They'll seat you with a menu, then you have to order at the register. Very cool vibe with artwork all around. Although it can get pretty busy, it doesn't get super loud. Some indoor and uncovered outdoor seating. Drinks were amazing, loved our hot cocoa and lattes. The lunch sandwiches we had were so good. I highly recommend the hot honey chicken sandwich. Chips for sides were fine for filling up. Chocolate cheese cake was one of the better ones I've had in town. Friendly staff that had a good feel for when we had questions and when to leave people be. Absolutely worth buying more than just food, just note that the price adds up rather quickly. Free wifi.”

“Wow, I think I finally found what I’ve been searching for all my life in the Twin Cities. What? What? A rich and delicious chocolate cake. Seriously, I’ve been everywhere locally and no chocolate cake has won me over… until now. It’s moist, rich, and very chocolaty like how I like it. I have tried some of their other sweets too and have loved them all. This might be my new favorite bakery.”

“Tucked away and a bit off the beaten path, I have found this location to provide excellent customer service and quality food. The staff is friendly and responsive (even when they're busy). The food is prepared fresh and it tastes like it! Solid beverage selection and adequate, if somewhat limited seating. I've been visiting here pretty frequently for the last year. The food and service are both still excellent, as are the selections. The restaurant itself is always very clean. It's definitely one of the most consistent places I have eaten at.”

“I was not prepared for the fact that this “cafe” is in a public health hospital. The tables and chairs all looked incredibly uncomfortable like they don’t want people to sit in them (and hardly anyone was). The ladies restroom was closed, so I had to go all the way to the sixth floor for another restroom. Which wouldn’t be so bad but the elevators reeked really bad of smoke. People were also smoking right outside the front doors. I did not eat the food, but I rated both the food and service highly because it’s not the employee’s fault that this place smells gross, etc.”

“So delicious and made from scratch. My Denver Omelette was AMAZING. Never knew a place like this existed. Everyone is friendly and happy. Orders are completed quickly and brought directly to your table. Employees work hard to take care of everyone and everything. The breads and pastries look amazing. I can’t even count the number of raisins in the cinnamon raisin roll. The icing was yummy. So glad everyone recycles and the guests are actually cleaning up after themselves. Highly recommend for breakfast in Minneapolis”

“I had been wanting to stop by for a long time, but it's a bit of a drive... I'm so happy we made the trip. The cinnamon roll was amazing, I wish I would have bought more than 1! The bread was delicious as well! I loved the crust on the apple turnover, but the filling was a bit tart for my liking. It's still very good, though. I will be back again!”

“I’ve been to this location twice for breakfast and both times were a great experience. Service was fast and food hit the spot. I love breakfast sandwiches so I’ve had their biscuit sandwich and damn good egg sandwich, I will 100% be back for both. One downside is parking is difficult. I haven’t been able to find any kind of public parking (even paid) aside from the street, but maybe I’m just missing it.”

“I don't know why, but this place has character. Most people were either doing work, studying, or having a conversation with a friend. It's a good spot for any of those activities mentioned above, but the vibe here is so chill, I just had to say something. :)”

“I really appreciate this Dunn Bros. They're often swamped with a steady stream of customers, but the employees always manage to take and make your order with a smile. The breakfast sandwiches are a guilty pleasure, but I'd recommend if you plan to get one, plan to wait around for a while. Just the nature of a busy coffee shop means it might not be as quick compared to other chains.”

“Great atmosphere and cozy interior. The food was amazing, as well as the service. Highly recommend the tomato soup and the desserts. Also really love that they have a book with recipes of meals they serve in the restaurant. How many times you ate something amazing and wanted to try to cook it? Now you can do it! I think that's really awesome. Definitely will visit again next time in MN.”

“Panera is in Abbott Northwestern Hospital. The flavor of the food is not like going to a stand-alone Panera Bread. I understand that because it is healthier food at a higher price. I love the cream of chicken wild rice soup but I will not be getting it from there again. It was not thick and creamy like it normally is and the flavoring was a little different(thin). I also miss the chicken Asian salad as it is not on the menu. The space is open and they stay pretty busy. There are many items on the menu.”

“Convenient location and great atmosphere. I wish they were open after 2:30pm. Staff is very friendly, drinks are great (though sometimes not accurately made). They supply a large portion of my meals.”

“Great food, fresh and tasty injera, large portion! Also love the "hot sauce" from the freezer to take home.”

“Very nice gourmet coffee shop with a distinct hipster vibe. We casually stop on this place and the experience was very good. The shop has two levels with the first floor dedicated to the actual coffee shop activities and the second floor more as longer stay lounge. Friendly staff and fast service. Coffee drinks where good, but the espresso was a bit low on crema and slightly burned.”

“One of the most consistent Caribous I've ever visited. I used to work downtown for several years. This location consistently brews quality drinks and will treat you like a valued customer. You might have to wait a bit during rush periods, but that has to do with the volume of customers that go there.”

“I'm 31 weeks pregnant. This will become relevant in a moment. I love this location and visit weekly if not more. The atmosphere is amazing, it's in a great neighborhood, and management is phenomenal. When I went in yesterday before my birthing class, the manager suggested I try the seasonal Ham & Brie ciabatta. I literally cried over my tray it was so delicious. It was possibly the best sandwich I've ever had and I got in a coffee house (says a lot). Same day I tell the owner that I'm bummed I can't have any seasonal beverages because I have gestational diabetes and can't handle sugars well. NO JOKE the dude special orders me sugar-free Pumpkin Spice and Gingerbread syrup and tells me to come back in a couple of weeks to try them out. I 10/10 recommend this location. Xerxes and a few other locations have the same owner and he is awesome! Linden Hills management rocks as well.”

“3 stars because the service isn't always consistent, but otherwise best value and timing to actually receive the drink ordered. Some coffee shops in the same area take 2-3 times as long to get the same drink.”

“This restaurant is amazing. The food is so fresh tasting, my wife and I were both impressed with our meals. In addition to a full 3 meal menu, they have a bakery and coffee bar. The coffee is no joke better than any chain you will find around here. Another note, the style and atmosphere of the restaurant is clean and very appealing. Will definitely be going back!”

“Upgraded to 5 stars from 4 in 2019. Wonderful service, and the associate went above and beyond. I also love the social justice values of this company.”

“No idea how it took us so long to stop by this place! The shop is very cute and in a great location. The pastries are freshly baked and taste fantastic. We got an almond croissant that was perfect. They also have cute mugs and merchandise available if you enjoy picking up souvenirs! My only problem with the shop is the size. If you go in here on a weekend morning, there might be a line out the door, which is fine in summer, but less so in the Minnesota winter. I see they have another shop at Graze in the North Loop. I hope they're able to expand even more!”

“My little longest number one restaurant in the city. Dietary restrictions? Picky group? Slow eaters? Fast eaters? Splurging? On a budget? This place can literally cater to all. Always happy wonderful servers, and happy Minneapolis atmosphere.”

“Delicious food. Wonderful staff. We've been booking the common room for an industry event and it's been a great experience. It's a inexpensive way to gather a group in a designated location. Really have enjoyed our time here.”
