“I don't really understand why this gas station has such bad reviews. Yes it's in a rougher part of town, but the store was recently remodeled and it looks great. The interior of the store is clean and well-stocked. I have clients in this area, so I often stop here to use the bathroom - it's really hard to find public bathrooms in this neighborhood, so I appreciate that they keep their bathrooms clean and well-stocked, and I don't need to ask for a key. The lock on one of the stalls in the women's room needs to be fixed, though. Also, note that this location closes at 10 pm. I also frequently grab a quick lunch, snack, or drink here. They have a good selection, including plenty of both hot and cold sandwiches. Of course it's a pain that their pumps are prepay only (or pay at the pump too I think) , but again, it's not in the greatest area, so that's to be expected. I generally don't gas up here, but I did the other day and didn't have any problems. There was a bit of a line at the register, but it moved quickly. Overall, this is a good convenience store considering where it is. Way better than some janky Speedway, for example - Speedway is the worst! I also appreciate that they maintained some of this store's funky retro architecture when they remodeled :)”

“Stay’d came up as a Door Dash suggestion, which was impressive itself as they only opened the West End location a few days ago as of this review. We tried the salmon and the shepherd’s pie, along with a mac and cheese side and the fruit dessert. Entirely worth every penny. Fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the mashed potatoes were creamy, and one of the little details that really stood out was the vegetable medley taste…rather than just being the usual bland mix of overcooked and oversalted chunks, you could taste each individual type of vegetable, and they were all properly cooked. The shepherd’s pie was perfectly seasoned as well. Everything was fork-ready…didn’t even need a knife. The mac and cheese was great too…usually “Gouda” is slang for “tasteless white cheese” in restaurants, but the Gouda flavor was there and delicious! The fruit dessert stole the show though…pastry cut easily with a fork, apples in the base were cooked just enough, and the berries were plump, ripe, and huge…having them uncooked on top of the cooked pastry and apples with the fresh whipped cream made for a really refreshing dessert that could still satisfy any sweet tooth. Packaging kept everything at the right temperatures, containers are compost-friendly, and they stack tight in our compost blue bag. Just a great option that I’m thrilled to see on this side of town.”

“The interior does not show how great the good at the Dancing Ganesha truly is. The fried appetizer platter was lackluster but everything else we ordered was sublime. In particular, a huge shout out to the mushroom masala. That was everything! It was creamy, spicy and cooked perfectly. A definitive recommendation. “The place is pretty small. The food was decent. I give this 4 stars for the prices. If I were to give stars based on food it would be 3 because it was nothing special. I got the 3 piece tenders which comes with 3 tenders, toast, fries, and coleslaw. Also comes with 2 dipping sauces. Also happened to get a small side of macaroni to try. The fries and toast were good. The chicken was alright but very small, and the coleslaw was a bit bland but not terrible. The fly sauce they have was good and reminded me of pink sauce you can get at other chicken places. The macaroni however; was very unflavorful but looked good, just didn't have any type of flavor too it at all. The person I was with got a sandwich and said that it was very good and made up for the other things being bland. I enjoyed that the prices were fairly cheap, but I probably wouldn't choose to go there again unless it was convenient. Again it wasn't bad at all so I don't want it to seem that way, but it was a bit boring so to speak. I'm glad I tried it.”

“What a great way to bring a classic back and at the same time blow the classic away. I was really excited to read about the returning staff. You can see and taste the impact of great people and chefs. Our waitress was a return employee and you could tell the excitement and joy she had in being back and having such a great team. My friends and I all enjoyed the food we had. List is a little long but based on what we had I don't think you can go wrong with anything you choose. Final note - the cocktails are great. And the bartenders are willing to make modifications based on preference and those results are also amazing.”

“I've been looking for good chicken strips in the Twin Cities for awhile now. I went to CHX and found them. I've gone to most local restaurants and, to my partner's dismay, always ordered chicken tenders. CHX is the best around in the Twin Cities. Service wise: Pretty darn good. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and was willing to answer my questions about the menu. The guy who handed me my food at the end of the counter asked about napkins, sauces, and silverware - so what else could you expect. Haven't tried the pizza yet, but they're membership deal sure is enticing. All in all, go to CHX if you want some quality chicken tenders.”
