“This is my go-to place for casual meetings or just coffee with a buddy. Zumbro Cafe (which I loved anyway ) has partnered with Dunn Bros to offer some of the most delectable food at the counter and in the connected restaurant. I frequently enjoy their quiche, chicken salad sandwich and healthy treats as well as the indulgent scone or pastry. The atmosphere is classic laid-back coffee shop with local art on the walls and comfy seating. Service has always been good when I've been there and the staff is friendly.”

“Every summer we come to Rochester for our convention. We were tired of all our regular places to eat so decided to see what we could find on Google maps. When we walked in I felt right at home. While waiting for our order, my 11year old son said he liked the place, it felt old fashioned. Everything was great! I love that our server knew the older gentleman at the booth next to us and what his "usual" was. Small town feel in a city! Love the penny countertop. We will definitely be back next year.”

I felt like they could use more wait staff for the amount of people though. I could tell that the waiter's were busy and working hard, so work ethic wasn't the issue; but it did take us a while to grab their attention when we wanted to order food. “We ALWAYS eat here while visiting or driving through Rochester. The surroundings are cool-casual, and during rare Minnesota nice days, the outdoor dining area is excellent. But don't worry if the weather is bad. The interior is spacious and clean. Lots of windows let you view bad weather while you dine in warmth and comfort. The food selection is wonderful and vast. Everything we have ever eaten here, including desserts, has been very tasty. Speaking of desserts, make sure you leave enough room for one. Or take one home. Not to be missed. The bathrooms were extraordinarily clean. Staff are very friendly and capable.”

“Great new place in downtown Rochester. Lots and lots of good options for food and drinks. I enjoyed the corned beef tater tot hash. The tots were jumbo, about 1.5", and had a hash brown feel to them. A nice change from the regular type. Came with a healthy portion of corned beef and cabbage. There was some mustard somewhere in the dish, but it was buried underneath it all unfortunately. The rest of my party enjoyed a variety of Benedict's and an avocado toast, all delicious. I enjoyed that they had many of the brunch stables but also added their own twists. Great place, great food.”

“Excellent food and great service. The cocktail menu is creative, the steaks are amazing, as are the sides. I had the lobster corn chowder, a medium rare cowboy Ribeye, with a "single" loaded mashed potatoes and the bourbon barrel old fashioned. The steak was cooked perfectly, the corn chowder was possibly the best soup I've ever eaten, and the loaded mashed potatoes were excellent. I used quotes for single because this could have easily served 2, maybe 3 people. I really like the old fashioned as well, so much so that I had a couple. I also tasted the calamari, which was very fresh and not at all chewy as some calamari has been from other places. The oysters Rockefeller was tasty as well. Overall, excellent meal. Bring your appetite, and your checkbook(not sure if they take checks. But you get it), as it's on the pricier side, but in my opinion worth every penny.”

“I love the local and nationwide selection of beer and cider at the tap house, and their selection changes seasonally. There are plenty of large areas to sit with friends both downstairs and upstairs. The upstairs has indoor and outdoor seating areas, and the upper outdoor sitting area is beautiful in the summer.
