The food is outstanding mainly because the chef really knows what she's doing - excellent presentation and her recipes are original, so flavorful and fresh. From the dining area to the bathroom, the place is spotless. Background music is relaxing and at the perfect volume. “The food is wholesome and quite flavorful, and there are even dishes you can order that can be truly spicy, beyond Minnesota spicy. There are vegan and vegetarian dishes, and kids dishes too. Though the magic is more that this is part of an arts complex with a Movie Theater that shows wide ranges of seasonal classics to independent films you wouldn't see in standard theaters. There is also a black box theater that hosts all manner of local story shares, one acts, etc.. The lobby hosts local artists exhibits. All together a fantastic combo.”

We had a very tasty and robust cup of coffee to start our day. We noticed the area in which this store is sitting and noticed the beautiful and very scenic overview of Lake Superior. And, as the morning sun welcomed us to another day, we reflected on many other occasions here in Duluth that brought meaning to why we chose this area to live. The staff were professional,polite, and cheerful. Always focused on the customer's needs. The store was clean as were the restrooms. Nice and quite pleasant. A must visit restaurant. 5 ***** dining experience.”
