“Tucked away and a bit off the beaten path, I have found this location to provide excellent customer service and quality food. The staff is friendly and responsive (even when they're busy). The food is prepared fresh and it tastes like it! Solid beverage selection and adequate, if somewhat limited seating. I've been visiting here pretty frequently for the last year. The food and service are both still excellent, as are the selections. The restaurant itself is always very clean. It's definitely one of the most consistent places I have eaten at.”

“I was not prepared for the fact that this “cafe” is in a public health hospital. The tables and chairs all looked incredibly uncomfortable like they don’t want people to sit in them (and hardly anyone was). The ladies restroom was closed, so I had to go all the way to the sixth floor for another restroom. Which wouldn’t be so bad but the elevators reeked really bad of smoke. People were also smoking right outside the front doors. I did not eat the food, but I rated both the food and service highly because it’s not the employee’s fault that this place smells gross, etc.”

“This is my fiancé and I’s favorite local breakfast/coffee shop. I always get the honey cubano and it is the perfect drink for someone looking for a lot of flavor but not overly sweet. What really makes this place shine, however, is their waffle selection. They have dozens of different waffle varieties all with extremely clever and tasty flavor combinations. We always try a different waffle whenever we go. Our favorites have been the cranberry chicken and the cinnamon sugar bacon one (I think it’s called pigs can fly?). The prices are also very fair so it’s a no brainer to stop by for a fun breakfast on the weekends.”

“I had an amazing experience at the Burnsville, MN Lunds & Byerlys. While on my way home from work, and in preparation for an evening dinner guest, I stopped and picked up several bags of groceries. Once home and after the grill was fired up, I noticed that the meat that I just purchased did not make it home. I had used the drive-thru pickup. A quick look in my car revealed that one numbered pickup card was still laying there. Byerlys DROVE to my home and hand delivered the missing groceries in time to serve the meal - a good half hour drive for them! And they added in a few grocery surprises. What fantastic customer service! If only everyone handled a simply human mistake with such integrity and speed! The meat department is exceptional. I count on them for freshness and flavor. If you get a chance to know the staff, they are quick with tips and often have suggestions on how to prepare your main dish. They also have their own line of seasonings that complement fish, beef, chicken, and lamb. The variety available for fish, which I love, fits almost and taste bud. Their cheese selection is fantastic; I buy 3-4 varieties every week and have been able to get what I need for most any recipe. The desserts and pastries are really stand-out. I’ve bought the Chocolate Raspberry Mascarpone in a least four locations across the Twin Cities. They likely all use the same recipe, but consistently, the bakery department at the Burnsville location makes them the very best! They sell several brand items that otherwise I am running several place to catch. One favorite that comes to mind are the La Perruche Br Sugar Cubes and Mexican Coke in glass bottles. Out of all few places that I have shopped during COVID-19, I think they have done the best job of keeping a distance between shoppers at checkout, washing things down, and having all the staff wear masks. Most of all, the customer service is second to none!”

All drinks are made in store & sandwiches are very tasty. More busy in the morning but if you come in the afternoon it's usually not busy. The atmosphere to me is what makes it a non-return for me personally. It's...very crowded. Even if other customers are paying attention to where they are seated, it's highly likely that you can reach half an arms distance and touch a stranger, meaning you WILL be touched unexpectedly in this restaurant, consistently. It's not a good feeling. Based on the Albert Lea fire code, I think they've identified a way to breach near maximum capacity, but I have no way of verifying that.”

I normally get a hot drink, but with the morning already being 69 degrees I thought I should have a cooler. I asked if I could have a decaf caramel cooler and she asked if she could use decaf cold press because she didn't have whatever else it would need to be decaf, I didn't care, I just need decaf because caffeine causes migraines for me. “This is the BEST Starbucks around here. I go to this location extremely often and will sometimes stop in between two locations. Even if I’m grasping for time the baristas have always completed my order within minutes of me ordering and have delivered it to perfection. The dining area is a little small as I like to come here and hang out with friends during the school year and there sometimes will not be a lot of seating available. Each and every barista that I’ve ordered with is soo so so sweet and I want to be best friends with all of them ✋🥹 I usually will order a refresher but I love their cold foam cold brews in caramel, pumpkin, and chocolate. They’re to die for and I’ve definitely converted my mom to order here over the nearby Caribou.”
