“The filter mignon with blue cheese crust was delicious... My grandson's kid burger was huge and set at a great price which included ice cream and a topping. I enjoyed the blue cheese wedge but thought it could use a tad more bacon. There were just a few very small bacon pieces.. The sides need some improvement. I ordered the cheesey potatoes but they were cold and the scalloped potatoes were undercooked. I swapped them for broccoli but also cold and no seasoning. Fortunately, they come with the steak and are not an extra charge. Service was just ok. We waited too long to order and water was forgotten about but the server was nice. With some small improvements, it could be great. At least the steak was.”

“Eat here! Wonderful sweet staff! Refreshing to be treated to such kindness. The staff was patient and worked quickly. We showed up basically at close (didn't realize it was close as we were driving by checking out the fair) and they still got us a fresh hot meal. They told us local favorites and about combo options. “Celebrated a birthday party here this afternoon with eight people. The facilities seemed well maintained, the dining area was clean, and the outside of this establishment is in decent shape. The staff and food are good as expected here. Our waitress did very well, not hoovering but drinks and chips were not allowed to empty. We all enjoyed our food and everyone had a good time. We will definitely visit again sometime.”

“My wife and I went there to celebrate hopefully closing on a house. The service was excellent, as was pretty much every part of the meal. Our server, a very professional young man, gave us timely and courteous service. The steaks were cooked to perfection, all the food except the broccoli and cheese was hot and delicious. The broccoli was promptly reheated and the desserts were also fantastic. The manager even came by to say hello. Apparently, folks in Missouri seem to be far and ahead of folks in Colorado, when it comes to hospitality. The country music was a bit loud for my taste, but it fit the atmosphere. Everything timing-wise was very good. Clean place and not that busy at around 4pm when we went.”

“I was out of turn for work and some fellow students suggested we try this is out...so glad we did! We shared some Charbroiled oysters...and the all ordered the same meal... Shrimp Creole and hush puppies! Very tasty and large portions! Went for the first time as a late lunch. Nice atmosphere and friendly, professional service. “I usually get the Pork Chop and Eggs and I highly recommend it. This time I got pancakes with fresh blueberries added. It was $2.50 to add blueberries and literally there were four in one and five in another. Don't waste your money. Pancakes have that crisp edge you're looking for, but are still tender inside. Go for the grits as a side if you have that option with your meal choice. Also, get a cinnamon roll.”

“I had their turkey gyro. I like the bread that they use it is so soft and delicious. But if Turkey isn't your thing try their beef gyro another scrumptious choice. The service is always fast. The new steak sandwich was great , the managers here are top notch and always make us feel welcome. I love arby's so much. I could eat this place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. “Went through drive through!!! Well that was the only option due to current Covid-19 restrictions. Cant tell ya about inside! The drive through order order process was quick. The food arrived quickly. The food was hot and the chicken enchiladas special tasted good. Usually when i get chicken from other establishments the chicken is bland. This chicken had flavor and was better than most!! I thought the order came with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, rice and beans but there wasnt any tomatoes, rice or beans. “I love Papa Johns I just have one minor issue - they never read the directions on how to get to my place....lol. The pizza is always hot and consistent. “BEST biscuits and gravy I’ve had in a long time! I am a breakfast lover and after a semi short work trip to Independence I was craving something filling and delicious. The turkey biscuits and gravy came with eggs and potatoes, perfect combo in my opinion and the coffee was hot. I do have to say I am giving a very good instead of excellent because my service wasn’t great. I understand I was alone and it seemed my server had a lot of bigger tables however the restaurant itself isn’t big and there was plenty of help on hand. The young lady who brought out my food checked on me more often then my server. With that being said I would go back and probably try the breakfast tacos!”
