“I absolutely loved this place and I am sad I only discovered it when I decided to MOVE AWAY. Its excellent. The fried Okra is NOT slimy at all (which seems to be hard to do) and their gravy is awesome. I got the chicken but their shrimp was the best ever. The prices are EXCELLENT. Definitely good for a broke girl like me. Skip the KFC and go here instead.”

“The food here is pretty good. Typical sandwich place with additional international flavors (bahn me or gyro meat for example. ) the service here is a touch slow. We were the only ones there and it still took 10-15 minutes to get my sandwich.”

“We went for my Birthday. We had great service, John was our server and he did a great job, the owner even stopped by our table to check on us. We had Wisconsin Brie to start, it was very good. We then had our salads, great, small house salad. My only complaint there, was the very limited choice of dressing, ranch or a house honey mustard, the was a strawberry, pecan red wine vinaigrette, none of which interested me. Our entree was a variety of meats. Shrimp, a couple of steak choices, pork and chicken. We used the chicken broth to boil the meat in and it was just disappointing, not much flavor and the seasonings that were on the meat came off while boiling. We ended with the flaming turtle chocolate fondue and it was very good along with the fruits, cakes and marshmallows. Overall, the experience was enjoyable. If I returned, it would be for the cheese or the chocolate only. Keep in mind whenever visiting The Melting Pot, you are cooking your own food at the table in a fondue pot. The cheese and chocolate are done by the waiter. You do have choices on the way you cook, broth, oil or grill.”

“Good takeout joint for some simple fried-rice and stir-fried noodles! Quite decent pricing as well. Just don't get your expectations too high - this isn't high Chinese cuisine. You'll have to visit the restaurants on Olive Blvd. for the fancy Chinese dishes.”

“Authentic food. A local Korean family runs this restaurant and they are very sweet and make some good Korean food! They do not accept credit cards so bring cash with you. Very affordable prices.”

“The pad Thai was really nice, and the level three out of five heat was just what I was looking for. The homemade ginger dressing was perfect over the shrimp salad. A great addition to the Delmar loop.”

“Excellent food.. Great north Indian taste.. It’s better then any Indian restaurant at Delmar loop. Highly recommend.”

“Went to this little restaurant the other day for dinner. I ordered the Bulgogi Beef and it was fantastic! You get a generous portion of meat and the sticky rice it comes with is quite tasty as well. The staff were friendly, and the food was freshly prepared in their open kitchen. I'm definitely going back!”

“Long time customer. Food is always GREAT! Recently had a customer service issue that the daytime manager and evening manager quickly and professionally resolved. I feel comfortable recommending this place to anyone. Great food, amazing service”

“The noodles are so good! I got the Black Pepper Chicken with noodles instead of rice, and it was amazing! The pan fried Beef dumplings were delicious too!”

“We travel around the country in our RV and like to stop in local restaurants. Chose Blueberry Hill based on their St. Louis history. We were there early afternoon and you could tell it was a fun, quirky place. Appreciated all the memorabilia, photos of famous visitors, and the various rooms. But we did go there to eat and that's what got three stars. We tried the toasted raviolis and enjoyed them ... Hot and crispy and the marinara was tasty. My husband ordered the Shrimp Po Boy special and I had the fish n chips. Both were just ok, nothing we'd make a point of going back for. The fries were a huge disappointment; obviously frozen, not crispy, and I even had a couple that were cold on the inside. All in all, stop in for the decor, enjoy the music but don't expect much from the food.”

“I'm from Chicago and I loved this place. The pizza is so good is ridiculous and the cheese they use is amazing. They should definitely open one up in Chicago, I would be their #1 customer!”

“Ice cream is always good but the service and atmosphere was lacking. The girl sat cross legged on the freezer waiting for is to choose a flavor. Though not an issue it didn't look good. Then a few of her friends came in and were loud. If you get someone attentive you will have a great time. Always love their ice cream!!”

“This is a great place to eat and a local legend in St Louis. Frosted mugs of their famous root beer, or an outrageous float. You can see the absolute joy on people's faces when the server brings one to the table. Get a table by the window and watch the soda being bottled is pretty cool, too. Great selection of sandwiches and selections. Buy a T shirt on the way out!”

“Not bad. Not great. Price was reasonable. Ok place to pick up a slice if you have the time. However, I think I would have liked it a bit more if it they could get the slice to me a bit quicker because I don't think it would be a place I would go out of my way to get unless I just needed a quick bite to go. But for context, I ate in the shop. Perhaps their pizza is better when ordered for pickup or maybe they had an off day. It only looked like they had maybe 2-3 workers present when I stopped by, so they could have been short staffed and possibly slammed right before I came in. If I get a chance to stop by there again, I will update my review.”

“Our waitress service was great. She make recommendations for us to try.i had a salmon sandwich. It was tasty. My friends say the mac and cheese was rated above expectation and was better than what they ever tasted before!!! The food was well flavored. It is one place a Missouri to try”

“Great size in pizza slices. I only give this place 3 stars because the lady who took our order, wouldnt look at me and was very dry and shirt with me. Apparently this is common between ignorant whites vs. African Americans down in MO. I am white and I am friendly and love everyone. Great pizza though if you are in town looking for yummy cheap food.”

“Amazing service and delicious food always! Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. I’ve been here for anniversaries and just outings with friends and always enjoy the meal. Seating inside and outside - both good.”

“Visited multiple locations and am never disappointed. They have outdoor seating but I choose the inside because I'm more of an introvert and this location is on a very popular strip with high foot and vehicle traffic. No matter which location you visit you can expect quality food and service at decent prices. Both food and drinks. The steak nachos, nachos supremas, & chicken chimichanga dinners are amazing. Also, their frozen Margaritas are the best & come in a lot of flavors!”

“Wow this place was good. I was a little worried when we went in; I’d read some of the bad reviews that said the service was lacking. It WAS a bit slow to start. Also the tables were sticky and the bathrooms were not the best. I was wondering what we’d done. But when the food came, it was all amazing. Apparently they put all their efforts into the food, and not the decor. Although they do have colorful anime art work on the walls. One very nice touch was bringing us an extra (free) order of dumplings. They gave it to us because our entrees were not all ready at the same time. It was so refreshing to have a place not only tell us they’d messed up but to try to appease us before we complained.”

“I had a cheese soup and it was great. Went down nice with my beer chosen from their large selection. Atmosphere is great to chat with some friends; waiter Daniel was friendly and responsive. Good place to go hang out I'd do it again!”

“This is a great place to go to get your night started. Their buffalo wings are fantastic; in my opinion they’re the best in St. Louis. The staff is hardworking, attentive, and friendly. I’ve been several times with various people and have never had a bad experience. It’s one of the first places that I recommend to people that are new to the area.”

“Really pretty awesome. Kind of pricey, but sometimes you just have to go there. Service was great, dog was super (mac-n-cheese, bacon...the works) and a cool atmosphere all make it worth a shot. I'll be back.”

“The Peacock Diner is an awesome place to go at any time of the day or night. The design is just like an old dinner with a modern twist of color. I definitely recommend a milkshake and to enjoy the rotating booth. Depending on the time you go the wait can be a little long, the food however is worth the wait.”

“The food was fantastic as was the window service. But they need to get their drive thru speaker two way fixed because it took us 3 minutes to place a simple order that ended up being slightly messed up.”
