“A second location in ABQ! Nice! For my first visit I got the California Burrito which was huge (my picture doesn't show the size properly) and it was probably the best carne asada I've had in town so far. I hate cilantro but dang it was a tasty burrito. Also I tried the sausage breakfast burrito which was just as good as the other location. Now the copy/paste of the first location I hit... Love it - check your expectations: not "New Mexican" but more California/Mexico. Great value, fair portions, fast service. I have tried quite a few things over time on their menu and find myself craving the breakfast burrito here more than anywhere else so far in ABQ. Definitely worth a spot in my regular rotation!”

Ordered breakfast burritos w/bacon, green chile, egg, potatoes and cheese. Green chile disappointing: not spicy at all and pretty salty. Potatoes were pretty soggy due to the green chile "sauce". Bacon bits slightly burnt. The tortilla that was used was very good.”

“A reasonably priced blast of flavor! Fantastic dining! The breads were very tender, the sauce has a great homemade taste and the sausage and meatballs are also tender and homemade. “If you're looking for a fantastic Japanese restaurant in Albuquerque, Tamashi is definitely worth a visit. One of the standout dishes was the Avocado Bomb, which was absolutely delicious. The creamy avocado paired perfectly with the spicy tuna and crab meat, and the dish was beautifully presented. However, I was not as impressed with the Takoyaki. It seemed like it was cooked from frozen, which made the texture a bit off. On the other hand, the sushi rolls were outstanding. We ordered the Philadelphia, Vegas, and Volcano rolls, and they were all fresh and packed with flavor. The combination of ingredients was perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. Another aspect that stood out was the exceptional service we received from the staff. They were delightful and went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable experience.”

“This place is a gem! The kitchen staff are so great with kids and will make noodles in front of them. A couple years ago, my son was handed a small ball of dough and they showed him through the glass how to pull noodles. He thoroughly enjoyed that experience. “A friend brought me here for dinner and I'm so grateful. It smelled wonderful walking in. Hardly anyone there as we arrived right at 5 when they opened for dinner. We decided on Samosas for an appetizer and they were delightful. Just a bit spicy, hot and fluffy, and the two dipping sauces were tasty. The dough was perfect, not too tick and not too crumbly. Then we shared the onion dosa and the butter chicken. My friend asked for a little mango pickle for his, as he likes food spicier than I do. The dosa also has a potato-pea filling and is a giant savory crepe to tear up and dip into everything. The crunchy bite of the dosa was actually perfectly complementary to the butter chicken sauce. Plenty of delicious chicken, so smooth and creamy, yet you could really taste the layers of flavor. We also had Kashmiri Naan, which has cherries and almonds backed in, so we didn't need dessert. Everyone was very attentive and the food came quickly. I will absolutely be back, and will bring others. Best in town, in my opinion.”

Within 5 minutes of telling her the theme (Hawaiin) that we wanted she had an entire menu planned and even helped me with decoration ideas.
