“Was there during the Albuquerque Comic Con After-party at Doubletree. Fantastic hotel bar! Cool bar setup, nice lobby, etc. but the reason this place is so great is the staff. Especially bartender Mercedes! She's a hell of a bartender, pours a solid drink, and in the midst of all the craziness of the con, with celebrities and other freaks dressed in costume, Mercedes was calm, cool, and collected. She took care of the bar like a seasoned pro (I'm guessing she can't be more than 25, if that.) The only problem I have is that she wasn't working Sunday, the last day of the con! Thank you Mercedes and the staff of the lounge and of Doubletree hotel!”

“Such a comfortable & colorful spot near the convention center in DT Albuquerque. I got lucky with all kinds of deliciousness to choose from. The carnitas hash breakfast burrito with eggs and Christmas chile sauce is a must. If you come at the right time, you'll have your choice of their popular baked treats for later. Can't wait to have my lemon brownie!”

“Great spot for New Mexican food. Delicious food and good portions. Reasonably priced. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because it is a simple atmosphere, which is not a hinderance, but it is also not a fancy restaurant.”

“Very nice people here. Convenient short cut meals. My only complaint is they are heavy on rice and ground meat and light on vegetables.”

“Not your run of the mill brunch. I loved the chicken sausage on green chili biscuits. The tortillas are fresh and very good. The bacon is sweet. Serving size is good. My granddaughter had the child’s portion of French toast with fruit. This was very good too.”

“The food is hot, fresh, and it comes out extremely fast! If anything, this is the exact definition of fast food! I love Burger King every now and then, much better than the nasty excuse for a burger McDonald's sells. The number three large meal is the best! Vegan burger that tastes exactly like a regular burger!! 😋”

“I was with a party of four at 1130am on a Saturday. I did not know what to expect from this restaurant or the experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. We were at the restaurant for the Dim Sum brunch. Collectively, we shared nearly 20 small plates of food. All of the food was well-prepared and flavorful. Two in my party had steamed buns with pork and stated that they were the best buns in Albuquerque. I enjoyed the rice with spicy pork, my favorite dish of the brunch. One in my party requested the sesame balls with plum filling for dessert. I had one, and it was amazing! The server did a fantastic job bringing the brunch cart around over and over again for our party. I had iced tea, but two in my party had hot tea, and all the beverages were excellent. I have not eaten the sushi, but I highly recommend this restaurant for the dim sum brunch.”

“Considering the neighborhood, this Carl's has the best customer service I've seen since arriving in this entire town. Usually with fast food here, all the service is lackluster and lethargic, all the workers, clearly, just tired of the customers, not giving a single hoot because that's what they've learned from the managers. As soon as I walked into this Carl's, someone jumps up from the dining area, big smile on his face and apologizes, even though was the one intruding on his break. After apologizing back, and exchanging pleasantries, my meal was in my hands within 30 seconds, the whole time, every worker just hanging out doing their jobs and keeping busy. It saddened me how blown away I was by the rarity of people at work, actually doing what they were hired to do, work. These folks know what they're doing”

“My husband and his uncle came here for lunch. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my husband ordered a breakfast plate. atmosphere: cozy, comfortable, and clean. Most tables are good for 4 people but if you have a large group, there is ample space and they can just put tables together to fit large groups. The place is clean and has large windows that add to the good vibe of the place. Food: served within 20 minutes of ordering. I like my chicken fried steak with its sopapilia. My husband cleaned his plate. We are both satisfied with our food. Although my dish can be made more flavorful.”

“We Had a nice, eager server. We enjoyed our sandwich a lot. But we ordered two beers almost immediately after sitting and it took over 15 minutes to get two beers. We had just got our beers and the sandwich at the same time. And it wasn’t that crowded. Apparently it was a mixed drink “rush” so we had to wait our turn. That is what our server told us. But a couple went up to the bar and got beers immediately so not sure about the system. Maybe take 30 seconds every once in a while to serve a beer? That’s my suggestion. Plus pretty sure a manager or owner sitting at the bar. Although we had a decent time. We left to have our next drink at another local distillery due to situation.”

“I absolutely loved my lunch here and I'm so glad I stopped by! It's one of those places that has historic value and yet when you walk in you feel so special and cared about. I knew anything I ordered would be amazing and I really appreciate it all the little things that we could buy and take home also. I love the family that created this amazingly warm and friendly restaurant. I love the little special touches they did with what I ordered and excited to come back again.”

“Went through the drive-through and ordered a couple of patty melts, Chile cheese fries, and a chili dog with green. They were not too busy tonight, so the service was pretty quick. All the food was fresh. If you change up the order at all they usually get it wrong.”

“Had a great lunch there today, all you can eat from 11-2, just don't be late. They stop the buffet at 2, which is fine, we got there at 1:50 and they let us know it would be over in 10 minutes, again, totally fine. We got plenty to eat, and they allowed us to take as much as we wanted. They even made sure we had all we wanted at exactly 2 when before they closed it, which was super cool, they didn't have to do that! All the pizza was delicious, salad was fresh. No complaints! 5 star all day!”

“The food was ok. Not great but not bad either. I waited about 5 minutes at the drive through before someone took my order even though there was no one in front of me, that was a little annoying. However, when I did speak to the cashier it was a pleasant exchange. This location is a little dirty, a few transients were hanging out by the dumpster close to the drive-through. I suppose that's pretty standard nowadays though.”

“In town for a few days and decided to try this place out from a recommendation. I read several reviews before I chose to eat here and was impressed with what they had to say about the food here so I felt pretty good about picking this place. Had the 10oz ribeye, MEDIUM. Entrees come with a salad and a baked potato. Meal was served and to my disappointment the steak was cooked MEDIUM WELL to WELL DONE. Off all places that would get the temp of a steak wrong. Inexcusable in my opinion. The server was nice enough to take 50% off the entree due to the wrong temp. Not sure is this is a place I would re-visit nor recommend.”

“Better to order in person, online ordering saves no real time and is cumbersome and relatively inefficient. Some locations better than others. Panda burgers actually pretty good if a bit pricy for fast food.”

“Loved it. My husband and I were raised in Southern California and our standards are very high. We got the Floutas de pollo and 1/2lb barbacoa. It was so good! Super fresh and we enjoyed all of it. I recommend this to anyone. I wish they had rice and beans!”
