“The pizza here was excellent. We had the buffet and it was really big with the extras they have. Mac n Cheese, Alfredo pasta, chicken nuggets, spaghetti and sauce. I just got a plate of sauce to dip my pizza. The salad bar was also large with deserts in there also. The best part was the chocolate chip pizza. After your stuffed it's so good you'll still want more. Learned that Wed kids are half off. I'll be returning Wednesday 😁”

“The Starbucks I went to in Carlsbad was okay. The drink was a bit dark for my taste, and just okay service. I couldn't get my birthday drink a day ahead even though I don't live in their area & was there to see my mom in the hospital. I link in a small town of Texas with a Starbucks an hour away. Such is life. I still ordered a drink from them. High priced, of course.”

“Okay, so .... anyone who follows me knows that I am always on a quest for the world's greatest steak. I found one of the top 3 RIGHT HERE in Carlsbad NM! (The ither 2 are in Fairbanks AK and Tucson AZ.) The 12-ounce ribeye was cooked absolutely perfectly 🥰 and was so so so delicious. (I had told my husband that I would save half of it for later, but it was so delicious that I ate it all, and without any sauce at all. It was that perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!) I also had some fried okra, which was delicious, too, but that steak will be forever etched in mind and heart. My husband loved his Big Blue Burger (blue cheese and bacon) and fried mushrooms, too! We got there around 4 PM , and there was no wait. Our serving person was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is very casual. We will definitely be back at the Lucky Bull!!”

“I am new in town and was craving something fun and "not commercial." I found this cafe on maps and was instantly interested. I had the Margherita Sicilian and the pasta. The dough has a wonderful flavor and was thick and airy, but has that chew you look for in thicker crusts. This could easily be shared if with a friend (to make room for dessert 😉). The pasta was clean, subtle, and an amazing pallet escape from the richness of my pizza. So I recommend the combination. The person I encountered was pleasant and gave me some ideas of what I wanted as my first time. There is parking on the side of the building as well as in the back to make for easy accessibility. I already made my next meal plans here and will be trying some of the delicious desserts made from scratch in the house. You if haven't with this place.. You should. On a cute note, children get a free cookie if they finish half a sandwhich off the childs menu. Happy plates deserve happy rewards.”

“We were worried when we drove in the lot. 6:30 on Friday and the parking lot was empty. Went in, sat down and the restaurant quickly filled up! St Louis Ribs, Mac and Cheese, coleslaw, beans and rolls. Huge portions of all and very tasty. Julie was the wait staff for us and she was very helpful and attentive. Service was very prompt. If you go, take cash! Cards will cost 3%, which I don’t blame the owners at all for doing.”

“Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - T-Mobile Tuesday deal for a Slices-N-Stix for $3 so decided to try it! It's a pizza with half made into a pepperoni pizza and the other half into Italian Cheese Stix (bread with Italian spices and cheese). The pizza was actually really good as it was soft and cheesy. The bread sticks were better than their crazy bread in terms of texture and flavor as well Ambience: 2/5 - ordered online for pick up. There were random party strings attached to the door. The place where customers stand in was clean and neat but it was chaos behind the counter. Not sure why there was a pizza on the floor but the oven started alarming and some smoke was coming out. Several workers were scrambling on the other side and random patches of flour were in the ground as well.... Service: 5/5 - the Pizza Portal had a note of wait for door to close before it would allow us to take action. However, no doors were open in the front and we couldn't get past the message. The cashier was handling all the craziness happening in the store and addressed us as soon as he could. He was able to grab our pizza from the back of the portal and a crazy sauce for us Value for price: 5/5 - great price at $3 for the meal so super worth it as it was quick and tasty”

“EXACTLY what you'd expect from a barbecue place! From the traditional barbecue decor to the perfectly smoked meats, to the tasty desserts, you're sure to enjoy every minute and every bite. The French fries are a very interesting cut, crispy on the outside, very tasty. The sweet potato fries are served with syrup, but you likely won't need it. I had the 3 meat dinner and mom had the ribs. Everything was very enjoyable. Our server, Kristin, was very attentive and friendly. Also, I don't think it's a leap to say that this place serves THE BEST sweet tea in all of Carlsbad. Highly recommend!”
