Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“Such a nice, welcoming cafe. One of the baristas (blue hair, fun haircut) puts foam art on some drinks and I think that's super cool. The almond croissant is my favorite pastry they have, but it's been my favorite since Pig & Fig opened. (I am the aforementioned blue haired barista. I hope you guys like my foam art ”

Pyramid cafe and LA Cantina

Address: 157 Central Park Square, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“Great food and incredible service! We tried the lamb stew and chicken soup with our kebab meals. I had one chicken and one gyro - both were fantastic! It was very apparent they were short on staff but the only waiter was hauling and making sure everyone was served and got refills on drinks when needed! He was incredibly friendly and acted very calm despite the situation he was in. I should mention they may have been short staffed since their credit card machine was down on our visit so they were only taking people who could pay with cash. We will definitely be back for pick up or sit down once we move to the area!”

JR's BB+

Address: NM-4, White Rock, NM 87547, USA

Restaurant

“This little food truck serves great food, we had a bacon breakfast Burrito with green chili and a green chili cheese burger that tasted fabulous better than all the fancy restaurants in Santa Fe. A must stop on the way to Bandelier. The cook doesn't know it but his fries are the best (Belgium style).”

El Rigoberto's Tacos White Rock

Pig and Fig Cafe

Cafe Bakery Restaurant

“This place is such a hidden gem! The cafe itself is really cute and charming. I had the hot pig and fig sandwich. It was fantastic- the fig jam was a perfect pairing with the ham and brie. They also have an interesting list of cocktails and a bunch of yummy desserts.”

Los Alamos Cooperative Market

“Did you ask me where you can get the best deli sandwich before 2pm? The COOP. They even have a fresh salad bar and healthy hot food bar open for lunch. YUM! Healthy food, snacks and freshest fruits and veggies. You should check out this hidden gem located right past Holiday Inn Los Alamos on Entrada Drive.”

Pajarito Mountain Ski Area

Address: 397 Camp May Rd, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“Low prices meet, low elevation, and poor attention to detail. Pajarito is in trouble with both warming temps and poor management. The terrain is pretty straightforward, and there isn't anything really that steep. The snow doesn't hold up well because it melts rather than sublimates, which then freezes at night. So, it's icy compared to other northern NM ski areas. When it does get powder, the top half of the mountain is a lot of fun (if you don't hit rocks/trees barely hidden under the snow). The lower half isn't steep enough for powder skiing, and you pretty much straight run to the chair for another lap of the top half. The resort and its management are in serious financial trouble. It shows up in big ways: facilities are not maintained or improved. I've personally been stuck on a broken chairlift for a few hours. But also in little ways: the groomer kicks baseball sized rocks onto the ski runs (particularly at the beginner area), and the resort just leaves them there for people to hit. It'd take maybe 30 minutes to clear the rocks from each of the common spots, but the resort cannot or won't pay staff to do that. Take it for what it is, inexpensive and careworn.”

Infinite BBQ

Address: 751 Trinity Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“I moved here from Texas four months ago. Arrived to my hotel late and ran to Smith's to get some water, etc. I walked in and smelled BBQ. Infinity BBQ was already closed, but you can bet this dedicated BBQ loving Texas gal was standing in line the very next day. I even found out the owner/chef is from Texas. THAT'S why it's so darn good y'all!!!!!!! He even has Frito Pie! Every thing he makes is delicious! I'm hooked!”

Pajarito Brewpub and Grill

Address: 614 Trinity Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“Staff is friendly and food was great. My boys that are picky ended up liking the chimichurri on beef and I was very surprised. Food is fresh and portions are just right. Price is adequate for food you get. This restaurant was open when most of the town had already shut down luckily food was good. We went two days in a row second day food was just as good. And staff was friendly.”

Señor Tortas

“Great food, very friendly owner and wait staff. They have an all you can eat taco Tuesday for $16 featuring 7 different kinds of tacos! The atmosphere was great and there is a local competition for how many tacos you can eat. I achieved 21 tacos on July 5th, 2022 now holding the record. This place is awesome!”

Muy Salsas

Address: 1315 Trinity Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“This was my first visit and enjoyed the location, atmosphere and most importantly.....the food. The food was very flavorful....went on a Taco Tuesday and sampled all the various meat tacos. Chicharrone taco was my favorite followed by the pastor and the red chili tacos. Nice presentation and very flavorful. The only issue was service.....due to short staffing and it being very very busy during lunch. Staffing issues seem to be widespread post pandemic so taken in stride and hopefully can be overcome in the very near future. Definitely will be back.”

China Palace Restaurant

Address: Mari Mac Village Shopping Center, 759 Central Ave, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“Traveling through town and our group decided to try this place. It was very good. Our group of 6 was seated quickly and ordered within a few minutes and our food was out relatively quick as well. We ordered the shrimp lo mein, chicken lo mein, beef broccoli, sesame chicken, and dumplings. Plenty of food. Came out hot. Service was very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend. We would eat here more often if we lived closer.”

Viola's

Address: 1360 Trinity Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“Stopped by with my wife for breakfast this morning (10 June 2022). I got the burrito ranchero With green and my better half got the 2 egg breakfast. Mine was phenomenal, good flavor and the green chili sauce was very flavorful with enough spice to make it very good. The 2 egg breakfast came with the eggs cooked perfectly and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and the atmosphere inside was very pleasing to us. History on display throughout and you can tell they care about their customers. I highly recommend and we’ll be stopping by anytime we’re in town.”

Ruby K's Bagel Cafe

Address: 1789 Central Ave, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Whatever I've said about jalapeno bagels being my favorites is long gone. I have found the perfect bagel, and that is the green chile bagel, specifically from Ruby K's in Los Alamos. My intention was to stop in this cute little cafe for just a regular bagel and butter but after surveying the menus for a moment I realized I needed to try one of their signature sandwiches. I chose to belly up to the "Up & Atom" (eggs and sausage topped with salsa and melted cheddar cheese on a green chile bagel, $5.69). The namesake derives from the town's popular Manhattan Project National Historical Park Visitor Center just across the street. Holy wowza, this bagel was DA BOMB (get it?). The bagel itself was SPICY, the egg super moist and the sausage bursting with flavor. I loved the salsa and there was plenty of cheddar. I'm sure Ruby's got some other kickass goods on her menu but if you ask me, this sandwich has gotta be one of the best picks. It's just SO GOOOOD! Also, I appreciated the complementary orange muffin. The sugar served as a great contrast to my spicy sammy.”

Blue Window Bistro

Address: 1789 Central Ave #3088, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“We were seated in a dark corner which was kind of off putting but otherwise the food was of good proportions and cooked well. The enchiladas were delicious :) the Reuben was a little too salty for my taste but the coleslaw was tasty. Come here and support a local business :)”

Starbucks

Address: 1247 Trinity Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Nice and modern. Super clean, decent customer service, good drinks. I will admit, I sure do miss the old location. But, I don’t mind it here. It’s certainly pretty to look at but kind of a weird spot. Anyway, it not bad. I’ll still be coming back. Just takes time to adjust is all.”

Origami

Address: 182 Central Park Square, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“So I will start off saying the food was delicious. We had miso soup, house salad and a mixture of 3 different rolls. It took a very long time for our server to order our drinks and we already knew what we wanted so we went ahead and ordered everything. We got our sushi rolls before our drinks and soup. The rolls came out fast which was nice but we had to prompt our server for the little bowls for soy sauce and our drinks and soup. Our soy sauce ran out so we asked the server for more and he started messing around with the other server and forgot. We ended up taking one from another table. I never tip just 10% but I did this time. The servers were very young and a lot of people came in all at once so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but when they started coking a joking and just sitting at the register zoning out I got kinda frustrated. I do plan on trying it again to see if the service is the same because the food was so good but if it doesn't improve I will not be back. Also the floor was very dirty.”

Hot Rocks Java Cafe

Address: 4200 W Jemez Rd, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

“Quick stop here from Bandelier National Monument. This place is tucked in tight - we would have never found this if not for Google Maps! Friendly staff and fast service.”

Boese Bros Brewpub - Los Alamos

El Rigobertos Taco Shop

Address: 166 Central Park Square, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Restaurant

“The food was so so delicious here I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to eat an authentic mexican taco or burrito meal! I had a taquito meal which had 4 taquitos, beans, rice. My husband got a ground beef chimichanga which also had beans and rice with picamo de Gallo & lettuce. The horchata was good as well!! The service was really fast. The restrooms were really clean especially for being an older building! The price gor the food wasn't bad we paid $26 for two adults. This was the first time we have gone here or have even heard about it but from the pictures and the reviews here on google were good so we decided to try it out. We are not from Los alamos but if we were to come back this is somewhere I'd eat again!”

Morning Glory

Address: 1377 Diamond Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“Their service is excellent and the food is wonderful I definitely recommend coming here if you're just visiting the Los Alamos area or are a local to this area. The chicken fried steak I got is great, I had asked for it with red chili and I think they did an excellent job with the chicken fried steak and eggs. Awesome place.”

Cottonwood on the Greens

Address: 4244 Diamond Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Pretty good food, really friendly and good service but so expensive! My kids got the personal sized pizzas off the kids menu. They really enjoyed them and said they were really good. I ordered the New York Strip. It was cooked as ordered and while a great piece of steak, not seasoned. I did enjoy it though. The scoop of mashed potatoes was bland and flavorless. The vegetables were tasty but I’m pretty sure they are of the frozen variety. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The view overlooking the golf course with wildlife casually walking across is the best part! However, the price for 2 kids plates with soft drinks, my plate with water and an order of 6 mozzarella sticks came out to $75.”

Cafe Sushi
