“We went with apprehensions given the current rating. However, in my experience it turned out to be one of the best casual dining places for Indian food in this neighborhood of Buffalo. The food tastes great with simple satisfying flavors. Everything is priced so reasonable. We ordered 4-5 varied dishes from the menu, and surprisingly everything tasted very well. We also got more stuff packed to go for our long road trip ahead. This will be my go-to place if and when I visit Buffalo again.”

“From the second I walked through the door I was greeted with great customer service. All the employees were super friendly. I love that the meats are freshly sliced right in front of you. I got the #13 Original Italian and it was excellent. A little pricey but everything is fresh and you get a good amount of meat, and it is definitely worth it. They also have a rewards program so I’ll be signing up and returning.”

“It's not bad for cheap pizza and wings! It beats the big name chains, that is for sure, and I certainly think it has the potential to grow, but otherwise, it's just okay. Temper your expectations, it is cheap for a reason. My biggest compliant is that the wings are oven baked, so they don't have the crispiness of traditional Buffalo style wings that are deep fried. The wings were honestly really disappointing for this reason. The hot wings also have barely more kick than mild wings at any other traditional Buffalo pizza place. I wouldn't recommend the wings unless your only option was through a large chain. The pizza was okay. It didn't have a ton of flavor, but it does taste like pizza! Again, I would easily eat it over the other cheap chain pizzerias or over microwave pizza any day. We just got the pepperoni and cheese though, so maybe their specialty pizzas are better. At the end of the day, I would rather get pizza and wings from another local pizzeria, but for a budget friendly option that's quick and easy, I would go here. The food isn't bad, but it just lacks that Buffalo flair. For $10 and 15 minutes for a large pizza, it's certainly hard to beat that.”

“This review is being written after my third time having had food from Local over a period of several weeks. First two times were “eat-in” in their small dining area (the beef sub was super messy to eat, delicious, and excellent, and their pizza special from “the wheel of death warming oven” (two slices and soda) was also surprisingly VERY fresh and satisfying. Super friendly staff. Had the opportunity to express my satisfaction to Pete who I came to learn is the owner. This most recent order was takeout and ordered over the phone. Order was taken by Breanna who comes across as unbelievably pleasant and thorough on the phone. Upon pickup, my initial impression of her was once again confirmed. Order (large pizza and wings) was ready on time and both were cooked perfectly. Pizza was moist and flavorful and their sauce is delicious. Wings were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside even after the ten minute ride home. Prices are not inexpensive but it it clear that quality ingredients are being used. Finally a business in a building that is in a convenient location and that over many years has sat idle too frequently. Best of luck to Local for what deservedly should be a long successful run. Don’t give patronizing this business a second thought. Enjoy!”

“New Mighty Taco at the corner of Transit and Walden in Lancaster. We live in the area and we're happy they finally put one closer to home! Food quality is standard with other locations. Seemed a little more efficient than some of the other locations, probably because it's new. Wasn't super busy but I'm sure that'll change. I would not consider Mighty Taco traditional Mexican food. However, it's something if you've grown up on it, that somehow you find hard to resist. Can't explain it. You just get that occasional urge.”
