Both my wife’s burger and my fry fish was overcooked, so they were both dry, which was very disappointing! It also would’ve been nice to have a handmade burger as opposed to something out of the freezer. The peanut butter pie tasted good, but it was also dry and felt like it had been made a few days ago. We paid by credit card and it was weird that we could not add our tip onto the bill, we had to be asked and the waitress had to put it on before we signed. Definitely worth upgrading your credit card system! After reading the reviews on Google, I hoping for and expected a much better experience and food.”

“We were out for a Father's Day Brunch. Rays was the perfect place to go to. We were there as they opened the door. Food was fabulous. We were a party of 5 . The place has a pub atmosphere and yet a restaurant one. 5 different orders all served piping hot. The portions were more than enough. Priced very reasonabley. Highly recommend this place.”

“We stopped here after walking around the annual historical event in Cape Vincent. The hubby was pleased with his friend shrimp & fries. The kid portions are big. The kid's small pizza was 8 slices. My son enjoyed the pizza! I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken didn't have much flavor though. It would have been a lot better if the buns were toasted. I would go back again to try other items on the menu! :)”

“Alright where to start with this....the food. So the portions are good. The time it took to get our food was good considering it was made to order, took about 10 minutes. I ordered the brisket and pulled pork with Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy. The "pulled" pork was more like a diced pork, definitely not pulled at all, was kinda sweet. The brisket was good meat, but the sauce they had put on it reminded me of a spiral ham glaze, which when you think BBQ that's not what you expect. The Mac n cheese was good. The mashed potatoes were alright but the gravy was very thick and dark, not my personal preference but my boyfriend liked it. I did really like the cornbread though, they topped it with maple syrup and it was nice and crumbly. My boyfriend ordered the quarter chicken and "pulled" pork with fries and corn. He commented that the chicken was a little pink and should have been cooked longer and that the skin on the chicken was very fatty. The fries were nothing amazing and the corn was good but seemed borderline undercooked as well, it was still very hard. The place itself was very small with just two indoor booths. The heating didn't work very well so if you plan on dining in I would definitely bring a jacket. The place also didn't have very good ventilation because it was pretty smoky inside, so if you're sensitive I wouldn't recommend dining in. There also didn't seem to be a restroom available to guests. Overall it was alright, this definitely isn't southern BBQ so I don't think I'll be returning. Next time if I want BBQ I'll just drive to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Syracuse.”

They've almost finished constructing the brand new more spacious restaurant overlooking the lake and plenty of off road parking. You really have to come see it to appreciate it.
