“My husband and I had brisket in Texas when we attended my nephew's wedding. Ever since then, we have tried to find a place with good brisket and have not been successful....until now! We visited my sister in Leland and decided to get some brisket to bring home for our dinner. It was a four hour trip home and, if we had known how good it was going to be, it would probably have been devoured before we arrived home! I told my sister she may be seeing a lot more of us!!”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. My wife and I have been here a couple of times and early on the service wasn't the best. But it seems they have addressed this. The food was good the first two times but better this last visit. There have been some changes in the menu that are much better. we ordered the wings... Best in the area! We also had the seafood pasta and it was very good and very reasonably priced. Pork nacho special was delicious. We will be back.”

“Our lunch at Amelia's was wonderful. The portions were perfect, not too big. The prices were very reasonable. We love coming to local spots and this one has great potential. A minor note would be the dining room would probably get quite loud if it were very full. Also, there are no beers on tap, I'm sure a local brewery would do well to make a partnership with Amelia's.”

“Great place! It just opened about a week ago and when I arrived it wasn't busy. Food was delicious and fresh, staff was friendly and helpful. I was missing an item but it isn't a big enough deal for me to get in my car and drive back for. ???? Thanks for the friendly and fast service!”

“For a restaurant that has not been opened long the service has went down fast. They are not keeping condiments and everything stocked in the lobby. The last 2 times I have been either a drink machine or the ketchup dispenser was empty.”

“It was the first time I'd visited the brick and mortar store after having visited the food truck quite a few times. I had the lobster over greens (I believe that's what they call their lobster salad) since I really didn't want any gluten-free bread options, and it was delicious! They give you the dressing for your salad and they also give you a side of warm butter just to dip your lobster in...oh my WORD! I was extremely happy and I can't wait until I'm back that way so I can stop in again! If you're local, just go! They offer a nice variety of menu options so you won't be sorry.”

“Good tacos. Clean facility and restrooms. Enjoy the bar by the window for people watching. Order was quick and painless. Be sure if u want the dollar tacos, check out at five pm or later. For some reason we was charged full price for all tacos five mintues before five pm plus extra for cucumbers even though we let them keep their meat and cheese. ???? Check out service was super strict and confusing.”

“The Grille: Although we ate in the Palms, the food came from the grill. The crab bisque was flavorful with chunks of crab and just enough of a sherry drizzle on top. Yum! The jewels of the sea dish a bit on the small side;however, id rather have a flavorful dish than a filling one and this one big on flavor. Only complaint was there were only two small pieces of crab. My husband enjoyed his as well- flavorful, moist short rib and grits. Service attentive. Club: great pools and activities. Attentive bar tenders, friendly staff. Enjoyed throughly!”

“The brisket and mac and cheese were very good. Also liked the cornbread. The pork BBQ was not my favorite, and the cole slaw was not very flavorful. Friendly staff! The smell from the nearby dumpster makes standing there to order difficult, but there is not really anything they can do about that. Liked both BBQ sauces (ketchup and vinegar based).”

“Great, fresh food with flavorful and healthy twists. Helps to be right on the harbor for ingredient deliveries - you are on an island. All-in-all, pretty fair price for the meal. Very friendly staff and plenty of golf cart parking. We used the ramp for a wheelchair. Seafood to Mexican, you'll find it here.”

“Excellent food. The food was the best of the "public" places on the island (we did not get club memberships). The view is great. The server was courteous and attentive. The hushpuppies were a great appetizer. My son got the peel and eat shrimp and it was well seasoned. The kids mac and cheese my daughter got was great. And my fried flounder and sweet potato fries were also very good. The drinks all looked fabulous, but I stuck to water. Yes, this place is expensive, but it was not above what I was expecting on the island. Would come back!”

“We really enjoyed our experience and the food here. The Cajun seasoning was delicious and should be a must try if you visit. Our only negative, although the service was friendly and professional, it did take sometime for us to get our checks. I highly recommend.”

“My aunt introduced me to this place and I'm so glad she did. If I lived anywhere nearby this would be a go-to place for sure. The food was perfect and reasonably priced. The staff was so friendly it felt like a family cook out. And, as a boy from the desert, seeing boats come and go from the docks attached to the patio was so much fun. 5 stars for sure and I will hopefully return.”
