“These chips were amazing! I shared a basket of italiano chips with my sister that were very delicious. The balsamic reduction and fresh basil on top of the perfectly cooked warm chips made for a perfect pair! The spices and herbs made my mouth water just smelling them. We also took a few bags to go of flavors sourced from local ingredients.”

“Everyone loves The Bywater. It is very laid back, casual and has a great beer selection along with a full bar. They have tons of outdoor space both on the river or in their backyard. A large bonfire makes even a slightly chilly day enjoyable outside.”

“We have some great food trucks in Asheville and Out of the Blue is right up there at the top. Very creative and tasty menu....perhaps the best chicken wings ever!. Super friendly service. Highly recommend.”

“A preferred scene for delicious French food. Came in on a Weds. The service was very helpful and welcoming. Prices were good for how much you get. Similar to a place in Denver I liked.”

“Pretty good Indian food. Great staff. The only thing I found a bit weird was the food is not served like in normal Indian restaurants to share. Each dish comes with rice and not meant to share. But we shared anyway. The food is good. Don’t get me wrong. But if you want to share. Order each dish without rice and just get one rice to share or you’ll end up with massive amounts of rice.”

“The Japanese food here is decent. When I say decent I would have preferred to try something else. I'm sure there are better Japanese restos in the area but I was at the convention center and that as the closest. The portions are good for the price you pay but you're basically paying for the quantity not quality.”

“The pasta was delicious! I naively assumed their red sauce would be dairy free so I was disappointed to find out it contained cheese, but the chef was able to work with me to modify another dish to omit my allergies. We went in at 7 and it was pretty empty but were told that all the tables had reservations. We were able to snag a table on the patio, though which was in the shade and had nice lights on the umbrella for when the sun went down.”

“This seems to be a hidden gem in Asheville. We were passing through town and were so happy to find this place. Huge selection of sandwiches at fantastic prices. Tastefully decorated walls.”

“We went here a little later so the kitchen was already shut down. We were only able to get drinks. Pricing was ok and bartender was really sweet. Service was a bit slow for the time of evening and so few customers inside.”

“Oh man, you can not go wrong here. It is worth the wait and every entree comes with a delicious piece of bread and salad (seriously even their salad & dressings are amazing.) The portions are big too, you really do get your money’s worth. Staff has always been friendly and give great service even when it’s busy. Must try!”

“Amazing drinks and tasty treats. My favorite juice is the Morning Dew - it’s my go-to ANY time I start feeling a cold come on. Employees and very kind and helpful and prices are fair since all ingredients are quality and organic. Super great vibe and lots of healthy plants. Love this place.”

“This is your typical greasy spoon diner and it was fabulous. We sat at the counter and were entertained by the organized chaos that was the kitchen. Quick service and everything you could want in a place like this. Will definitely be back soon!”

“My friend and I obviously had a great time together at Cedric's Tavern. We ordered their chocolate cake, pretzel rolls and drinks (Noble Cider and a brown ale) in the afternoon. Our waiter was super friendly. For $12, their cake slice should have been much larger or cost less. It wasn't as rich and sinful as I was hoping for so I wouldn't order it again. The pretzel rolls with butter were delicious! The pickles were complimentary. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Would definitely return.”

“The biscuits are so big they're called cat head biscuits, but that is only the beginning. The real charm is in the wide variety of ways you can top a biscuit... Mushroom gravy, bacon gravy, veggie gravy, berry bomb jam, chili mango jam, apple pie jam, basil pesto butter, mustard butter, clover honey, eggs, bacon, catfish, fried green tomatoes... The list goes on and on. Go and you'll be back again and again. It's just that good.”

“Located in the Village Hotel on Biltmore property it is a very convenient option if staying there or visiting Antler Village. Breakfast is pretty standard while dinner takes a little more sophisticated approach. Food is good. Service is friendly. It is a little pricey but the location is a big selling point.”

“Chopped brisket with special red cabbage and corn pudding. Recommended by a local brewery down the road while I was working. I am completely blown away. The brisket is tender, the corn pudding was moist and surprisingly flavorful. The red cabbage is unlike a dish I've had but wasn't too tangy and had the right amount of kick and flavor with small meat additions. Amazing.”

“The wedge is fantastic. Both locations. The foundation location has interesting beers and I love the work they do to support the community. When we were there last night it was a fundraiser for planned Parenthood and it was a well supported and well attended event. The staff was well prepared and they made sure that you got your beer in a timely manner. And managed to keep a smile on their face, even though they were really busy. Way to go Wedge!”

“I can't give these guys enough stars! Absolutely made my day up at Bailey Mountain Bike Park! Amazing taco combinations that you just don't think of! Great Beer Boiled, Bacon Wrapped, Brats! Amazing homemade salsas! Oh yeah, don't forget they also fix your bike while your eating!! Dirt cheap Tacos that taste like they came out of a five star restaurant! Seriously, my wife, my 2 kids, and I all ate for under $15. Thanks guys for an awesome day!”

“We spent one night on the estate, including dinner at the Dining Room. It was a pleasant evening with friendly service and tasty food. For me, as a vegetarian, it was more than okay but not excellent. For the others, not vegetarians, it turned out better. Overall, I guess, it was one of the most luxurious dinner experiences we had in the USA. In Europe this would be probably be good but definitely not top of the bill.”

“Beautiful views and amazing food. The staff couldn’t be kinder or more attentive (shout out to Heather!!) I highly recommend the strawberry fields cocktail and the black eyed pea chow chow. I ordered the chow chow twice because it was so good!”

“Homegrown (West) is a fun place near Carrier Park to grab a meal, but I’d suggest a lunch over a breakfast. Very limited breakfast offering, but lunch menu is more robust. Fresh food, definitely a southern fare flair. Fun place to eat with fun seating, friendly staff, wife says you have to try the cheesy grits. Prices are fair. I hope the review helps, if it was please be sure to mark it so.”

“Loved our first visit! We both had the Farmstand Salad, they were both fresh, colorful, & delicious!! Can't wait to go back & try the subs next. Service was courteous & fast with the order, even at the lunch time rush. Thank you Lenny's crew for a great 1st visit!”

“Little Pigs have been in business since 1963 That should tell you a lot. Great barbecue, chicken and sweet tea. I've been going to Little Pigs since I was very young and love it. I live within five miles from three BBQ restaurants and pass them up to go twenty miles to Little Pigs. Great friendly staff. Definitely a Asheville landmark. Southern BBQ and chicken at its finest. And as far as the very few low reviews, well you can't please everyone. Maybe they need to go back to their veggie burgers and hummus dips. O and Karen the last reviewer, stop eating and driving, you are endangering yourself and all the other people like myself that are on their way to Little Pigs Barbecue for that great BBQ that we all have enjoyed for the last 55 years.”
