“Chopped brisket with special red cabbage and corn pudding. Recommended by a local brewery down the road while I was working. I am completely blown away. The brisket is tender, the corn pudding was moist and surprisingly flavorful. The red cabbage is unlike a dish I've had but wasn't too tangy and had the right amount of kick and flavor with small meat additions. Amazing.”

“The wedge is fantastic. Both locations. The foundation location has interesting beers and I love the work they do to support the community. When we were there last night it was a fundraiser for planned Parenthood and it was a well supported and well attended event. The staff was well prepared and they made sure that you got your beer in a timely manner. And managed to keep a smile on their face, even though they were really busy. Way to go Wedge!”

“We spent one night on the estate, including dinner at the Dining Room. It was a pleasant evening with friendly service and tasty food. For me, as a vegetarian, it was more than okay but not excellent. For the others, not vegetarians, it turned out better. Overall, I guess, it was one of the most luxurious dinner experiences we had in the USA. In Europe this would be probably be good but definitely not top of the bill.”

“Homegrown (West) is a fun place near Carrier Park to grab a meal, but I’d suggest a lunch over a breakfast. Very limited breakfast offering, but lunch menu is more robust. “Little Pigs have been in business since 1963 That should tell you a lot. Great barbecue, chicken and sweet tea. I've been going to Little Pigs since I was very young and love it. I live within five miles from three BBQ restaurants and pass them up to go twenty miles to Little Pigs. Great friendly staff. Definitely a Asheville landmark. Southern BBQ and chicken at its finest. And as far as the very few low reviews, well you can't please everyone. Maybe they need to go back to their veggie burgers and hummus dips. O and Karen the last reviewer, stop eating and driving, you are endangering yourself and all the other people like myself that are on their way to Little Pigs Barbecue for that great BBQ that we all have enjoyed for the last 55 years.”

“Definitely had high expectations of this place. It’s really cute - agree with other posters, it has the dive bar feel. The menu is varied and interesting. We started with the “Pork Wings”, which were pretty good. The sauces were good, the meat was cooked well, but not too well. The drink of the day was missing lime the first go around. I ordered Steak Frites and my daughter ordered the BLT with sweet potato tots. My meat was cooked perfectly, but had no flavor and the texture was not there either. The fries were not crisp, as has been mentioned in other posts. My daughter’s sandwich was good. The tots had great flavor but needed to be in the fryer just a little longer. The service was great, also as mentioned previously. Everything else just missed the mark! We went across the street for dessert and had a much better experience in terms of food.”

“Good service, high quality food, and large quantity serving. It was a challenge to consume the entire pork Burrito meal. Other two in party had to get take home boxes. The food was good but I was expecting Mexican and it was actually an alternate menu. Cantina is in a great location if you plan to do any shopping at Biltmore Village. We went right after lunch on a Sunday and didn't have any issue finding a parking spot.”
