“Love this place! We came on a hot, rusty morning, but the staff were more than helpful in moving several tables around in order to accommodate our nine person party in the shade! This type of service is outstanding! We had the smashed avocado sandwich, the salad, the wonderful smoothies, the granola, all of it was so exquisite! Yes, it is great for gluten-free folks, and for dairy free folks, but this is awesome for us without allergies as well :-) have a great time, and make sure to visit this restaurant when you come ti Asheville North Carolina. Peace, Joshua”

“Outstanding restaurant! Welcoming and inviting - you'll feel at home as soon as you walk in. Lots of great bar seating and with an open kitchen, you can watch your food be prepared in front of you while you enjoy a drink. The service is excellent and the food was fantastic. Cannot wait to go back!”

“This place is excellent! The cheesesteak is filled with lean and tender shaved sirloin and loaded with onions, peppers and shrooms. Save half and add a scrambled egg for a breakfast Philly! ;) I ordered the seafood boil with crab legs for my Super Bowl party meal and it was almost more food than I could eat. Their wings are great too but they got eaten too fast for a photo. Haha. Woops.”

“I moved to Asheville last year and always wanted to try this place and tonight I decided to do it for a friends birthday and LOVED IT! First the staff: The manager was extremely nice to us, she came by and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying everything. Our server was VERY attentive and sweet! The food was FANTASTIC- All I have to say is get the Pesto Pasta, it was AMAZING my friends tasted it and almost lost their minds on how flavorful it was! Also they have live music with actual good performers! I WILL be back and bringing family/friends to dine here. Wonderful experience!”

“Let me tell you.. this is the BEST Mexican food I have ever had!! So much love and effort goes into every dish and drink and you can tell that the employees want you to enjoy it. Do yourself a favor and come here, your taste buds will thank you!! Teresa is the sweetest server, 1000/10 recommend!!! (Couldn’t even take a picture of my meal when it came out because it was too good I had to try it!)”

“We stopped in from spending the day in town and wanting a new place to try. Was thoroughly impressed here. The interior was welcoming and very clean. All the food options we tried were fresh and delightful. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly with great suggestions. When we ordered appetizers they were quick to come out and the entrees were timed perfectly. Glad to have another wonderful option in Asheville. Group favorites include the mango sticky rice, dumplings, chicken fried rice, and sushi! Cheers!!”

“What a great place to hang out! Was waiting on my family while they were zip lining. Grabbed a book and headed to the wagbar! Dogs were have a blast. Little dogs, medium dogs....then a huge Dane showed up. Craft beers, a good beer, and dogs playing in the pool. What's better?”

“Having met Matthew over email only I was very excited to go for our food tasting. He and his staff did not disappoint. What a great group of professionals serving not only wonderful flavorful food options but serving up great hospitality as well. We are using Food Experience for our son's rehearsal dinner. The food options were somewhat pre-planned "by me" but we were also offered many other options to try at and consider. The setting was also done right. Nice table linens in a quaint enviournment. Multiple table clearings throughout the tasting. Multiple beverage options offered. Professional staff and plenty of attention to detail! What a great experience! Thank you Matthew! We are looking forward to the upcoming dinner!!”

“Every time that I've gone to Asiana's, year after year, it has gotten better. Their sushi totally impressed me for a buffet. I usually never eat sushi at a buffet, so my observation has some validity here. The food is excellent, a bit greasy for some dishes, but for the most part excellent for a buffet. I really enjoy the folks over there, the atmosphere, and love the fact that there is so much to choose from. And to add to that I love the fact that there is a cook bar where food can be cooked right in front of you. That rocks. I've still to encounter a better quality buffet place.”

“A pleasant place to dine in Candler. The raised metal pictures on the walls are colorful representations of traditional Mexican pastoral scenes. The menu is extensive and the staff is friendly. I ordered the Plato Azteca. It was good, and included cactus as one of the ingredients. I never had cactus before, and it added an interesting dimension to the dish. Something I don't like about the Mexican restaurants in NC is that the food is very bland - no heat at all. Mexican cuisine prides itself on a generous use of a wide variety of peppers. I know the local restaurants are catering to the bland palettes of the local population, but I would suggest they ALL bring hot sauce(s) to the table for those who wish to eat their meal with authentic flavors.”

“What a great place to stop by for lunch with my dad. First and foremost the chips are made fresh, the tortillas are home made, and the salsa at the salsa bar is amazing. Our waitress, there’s only one waiting on all tables, was delightful and making sure every table was serviced well. I had the Mole Veracruz and it was cooked perfectly. The chicken fell off the bone, mole was delicious and rice and beans were great. My dad had the the house plate which came with breaded skirt steak and grilled steak. It was a lot of food but also well cooked and delicious. Will be going again.”

“Going into the place I was expecting everything to be fried and semi ok. I was wrong. They have a good mix of seafood options cooked it different way. They offer a kid menu, soups, salads, and sandwiches. But of course the seafood plates and boiled by the pound is where it is at! We had 1/2 dozen oysters (good size), two dinner plates, kid chicken fingers, and two glasses of wine for about $70. Side note: no liquor (beer/wine only)”

“I have as of now only visited once. Based on that experience it was great. I was alone and sat at their bar to eat. I didn't partake but they do offer beer and maybe wine. The staff was great, the store appeared clean, and the food was good. My flounder was cooked perfectly and in very fresh oil. As I return for future visits I'll update as I explore their menu more thoroughly.”

“Came into town looking to visit the old Foothills Grange restaurant only to find it was closed while they open this new version of it. It’s a great outdoor atmosphere, lots of dogs, super casual, and the food was spectacular. They had run out of food and so had to close the kitchen for about an hour while they restocked. The ordering process also seemed a little clumsy, but I think these are just kinks they’re working out. Overall it was a great experience with delicious food. We will definitely return when we’re in town.”

“Great spot to have a drink and some great food with friends. Large outdoor patio and plenty of indoor seating. Pool table in the back for some extra fun and great options for draft, can, and tasty cocktails. Our group favorites are the avocado and chicken tacos but the chips were also really hitting the spot. Open later for food when there’s no one else and also actually great food is definitely a plus plus in my book! Cheers!!”

“Snowy visit to old school subs. I was in black mtn on Tuesday for work right off Old Hwy 70E near tractor supply. Been there many times for work this was the first time I ever noticed old school subs. I decided to give then a try and sure glad I did. I ordered a 12inch Chicken Philly sub. Man was it good. I've of the best I've ever had. The staff were super nice and friendly. They did a wonderful job preparing my food. Will definitely go back and eat there again.”

“I mean, what can ya say about a travel center.... It had all the amenities of a normal highway-side gas station with the exception of a little restaurant on the side.... It was 5 star food, but man it was good ole down home southern cookin!! It's sort of a hidden gem on the side of I-40.... The one thing I would fix is the parking lot, a bit small and unorganized... But overall, everything weighs out to be a great experience!!”
